Uh yes hi hello. This is basically my first fic because I was bored and quarantine's a bitch and had a lot of stuff going on the past year, but none of that matters anyway. Glad to know that there are still loads of BBCF players since it's my favorite game and BBTAG isn't for everyone. To be frank, I enjoyed the game for its assists but was pretty upset from the changes couGh AutOcomBos dAmmiTor that's just me. Wanted to try it out to see if maybe if I can do something productive and make my imaginations go wild and try this new stuff out. Criticize my work, both negative or positive I'd gladly appreciate it. Oh and this story may have BBTAG characters included but this will only focus on the BlazBlue side.

Edit: Okay, I took the suggestion of reviewing every single chapter here when I got a bit of experience. I later realized that there was a ton of mistakes soooooo, I fixed it.

Chapter 1: A thought

This takes place after Central Fiction's ending.

"Job's done." Ragna sighs, still in the Master unit.

Ragna contemplates whether he should go back or not, due to the fact he completely erased himself from everyone's memories opening a path of possibilities. Unaware of the time he has been in the unit, he waves it off. He lost track of time after remaining in the Master Unit for a while. He thinks about the people that he cared about and they probably don't have any trace of memory about him. But, he does know that observers somehow have an exception.

"Now that I think about it...Amane was still capable of remembering my presence...He is an observer and I'm DAMN sure that those guys are stacked with power. What about Rachel?"

Rachel...

His heart was beating at an intense rate. Why is he feeling this? Out of everyone else he had been worried so far it was Rachel he was deeply concerned about. Confusion and irritation envelope the Man of Azure. The last moments of them in a warm embrace began to flow back within his memory.

"Oh right, her dream...never knew I felt the same till that moment" He smiles, "She'll remember me right? She was an observer and Amane wasn't really affected by it. Damn it all."

He scratches the back of his head in thought.

"She'll definitely remember me and shit on me once I get back." He silently giggled

Wait. Did he giggle? He missed the constant dosage of verbal abuse? Surprised, he just looked up towards the white void in thought.

"Hey, Saya." He calls out to her

Saya was finally happy that her hell ended with Ragna saving her that day. Throughout the time loops, she watched him grow and then later suffer at the hands of Terumi. The bane of existence of literally every living thing on the entire planet. Terumi was the embodiment of pure evil, but Ragna and his allies were able to take down the vile being. Saya on the other hand, the wielder of the Amaterasu unit was the unit of creation and was stuck in a time loop. Luckily Noel had broken the time loop and opened up a path of possibility. Leading towards the victory that they had all worked hard for.

"Yes, big brother?"

"I uh, might have to come back to-" his words were cut off with his little sister's sudden response.

"It's okay, I know. You want to be with her right?" revealing a smug face

Her tone, in which sounds like a manner of teasing.

"What the hell? No? Maybe? C'mon give me a break." he groans in retaliation with a slight red tint in his face signifying embarrassment.

"Hehe, even after all those years, you still haven't changed."

"Quit it, ya know I'm not great with cheesy stuff."

" Nope."

"Can I go now?"

"You may, but please come to visit once in a while okay?" With Ragna being the Man of Azure, it's not impossible for him to come back to the master unit, but it's not easy to get back either, "Promise me that you'll visit once in a while or else I'll make Jin come after you again." She pouts worrying that Ragna might forget.

A cold sweat drops behind his neck when she said that. She doesn't mean that Jin won't go apeshit whenever he's near him right? RIGHT? He gulps his saliva, "Yeah, I promise. You are my little sister after all." He pats her head smiling.

"I'm off now, see ya"

He ejects the master unit.

"WAIT RAGNA! YOU'RE NOT DOING IT RIGHT!"

Ragna looks back hearing her yells. After hearing what she said. He realized that he did in fact, did not know what he was doing.

"Shit"

All he saw was plain white. He could not see nor hear, but he felt his sword behind him.

"Wait, is this my sword? Didn't I leave this in some shitty place?" He blindly taps his back in which, it felt like a handle with some sort of soft cloth?. It somehow teleported to him. His weapon. The BloodScythe. A weapon given to him by his master. A weapon that had defeated the Susano'o. A weapon that had ended Terumi's life and stopped his plans. It was mysterious to him how it came back to him. "Mysterious, hah. Cryptic like the rabbit huh." He smiled at himself and suddenly shook his head after realizing that his first thought while falling into a white void was Rachel. He still needed to figure out about the soft long cloth he was holding, since he couldn't see at all. Being new to this stuff even after achieving a new level of power that can definitely rival a Sankishin, he still has yet to learn.

He falls face-first on the floor.

"Ugh."

"Oh, the fool has finally arrived at my presence. I would like to assume that it took you a matter of minutes to fulfill such test given to you has it not?"

That voice. That unnecessary berating and that tone of long-winded statements.

"Rachel, is that you? Wait you remember me?"

He was filled with joy but something did not feel right. He was located in a field. A stadium-like field and within the distance, clouds hinder the sight below them only revealing what's on top. A large structure.

"Of course, I do remember you, has that mere test struck your cranium and disoriented your memories? That was unexpected of you Ragna." She smiles in amusement.

What test? Where did he go? Where is he? He assaults himself with a barrage of questions and looks up at Rachel.

"What test? Rachel, I thought beating Terumi would stop it all. What the hell is going on here?!" He picks himself up in a panicked state.

He was worried. He was restless. He thought it was all over...until he saw Rachel's face. A face of confusion.

"Pardon? Do you think staggering Terumi with your counterfeit grimoire would stop him? Oh my, how hard was that blow to that hard skull of yours?" She continued to tease him.

"What?...no...no way. Rachel, are you just messing with me just because I hugged you and left you to wait? That's some sick joke you're trying to pull."

"Wait...hug? Left me to wait?" She lightly blushed and quickly took control, maintaining her demeanor. She shakes her head from visual fantasies she was forming seconds after his statement.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Why would I ever hug you? Let alone, you wear the same ugly clothing every single day! I do not even know if that clothing could smell vile!" She denies it, but on the inside. She liked his looks, it indeed fitted him, but she was still unsure about the smell that it may contain.

He didn't care about what she said to him and realized what was going on. He denies this to himself and slowly approaches her.

"Rachel...do you not know?"

Surprised by his change of tone. He would usually call her "Rabbit" or be in a sour mood whenever she berates him for doing such things with only brute strength alone. He wasn't smart nor dumb either. It was his style for solving problems on his own without giving up. A core trait that she admires him deeply about. But seeing him in this manner was...strange. His tone sounded soft and scared, like a child's first moments of denying that their pet has passed away.

"No way in hell. Please" He holds her shoulders. She could feel them trembling,

"Please. Are you just messing with me?".

"W-what do you mean? Why are you acting like this? We were teleported to this world. I have no intention of making fun of the circumstances we are in other than making fun of you. What is it that you are speaking about?" She stuttered. Out of her character to do such a thing. Ragna didn't care, Rachel becoming nervous after hearing his unusual tone.

"Shit...!" he lets go of her gently and puts his hand against his face in disbelief.

He ejected himself to the wrong timeline and wrong place.

I was heavily inspired by ApprenticeTrashman and Murder_Media's works and other good Rachel and Ragna fanfics. Go check them out They're cool. Just ignore the questionable parts unless that's something you're into. Tell me what you think about it. I'll be making the next chapter in a while.
