Quick question. How are my chapter titles? Be dead honest, because I'm not great with coming up titles. I'm not exactly good at naming stuff. So like please tell me if they're okay or somewhat criticize me even if it's harsh. I wanna improve.

"Ragna...where are you?!" She yells out for his name while she was hovering in the air towards the direction where she heard the explosion.

"RACHEL! I REQUEST THAT YOU GO SLOWER?!" She noticed Tager trying to catch up, "Nago, Gii accompany the Red Devil. I will call you immediately once I require your aid. Understand?" Commanding her familiars. "Yes Princess!" both of them comply.

She commands the winds to move her at a faster pace and when she arrived she saw a damaged street and sees two figures: One in red and one in white. She finds out it was Ragna and Hakumen fighting. The place was destroyed by those two individuals. "Ragna are you still fighting Hakumen?." But as she got closer it looked like Ragna had won. She sees him holding his neck, "You overpowered Hakumen!" After a few seconds, the criminal releases Hakumen's neck. She quickly lands and yells out his name. "Ragna!"

Hakumen tells Ragna, "However, I have a hypothesis." Blue strands of energy move around Hakumen. "And what's that?" He asks. Hakumen concentrates and Raises his sword and the energy that surrounds his sword forms a barrier around him. "Empty Sky Form..." He charges up his move. Ragna prepared his stance, thinking there was an enemy nearby. "An enemy?" Ragna asks but there was no reply. He continues to keep his guard up and sees Rachel walking in their direction. "Oh, she's here. Hey, rabbit! Hakumen's brought into this mess too! Right now, he's uh charging up? I don't sense that he's going to attack me. But there might be an enemy nearby so watch your back!" He was yelling while cupping his hands to make sure she hears him.

Hakumen turns to Rachel. She immediately notices. Hakumen was preparing his stance towards her. He was planning to attack her.

Ragna quickly realizes, "HAKUMEN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" He tries to attack Hakumen but his attacks were negated. "What?! A barrier? Why isn't it budging? C'MON!" He kept attacking but it was useless. "Damn it...IDEA ENGINE-" He stopped when he saw Hakumen swing his sword.

"SUMMER'S ADVANCE!" a fully charged and powered projectile coming towards Rachel at high speed. Ragna's located from a far distance. Just as he was about to sprint, Hakumen took his sword before he even knew it. How did he even take his sword? Did he use that stance as an illusion to take his sword away? He had so little time to think. He won't be able to have time to push her away, so he had two options. Get his sword back and block it by throwing his sword? "But that would take too much time!" he thinks to himself. His second was to bite the bullet.

"Huh?! NAGO! GII!" Rachel called out to her familiars. They would take time to teleport to her. She didn't have much time. She needed Nago to absorb the blast. His defensive capabilities were incredibly high and very effective. Unfortunately, he was not with her. As she sees the projectile and was on her move to dodge but something was fixated her from moving. She looks down and sees blue marks under her. It was one of Hakumen's seals, he used a seal to prevent one from moving a step once he attacks with his Distortion Drive. She could not do a thing. Not even commanding the winds would budge her. "What is this? Why can't I-"As she looks in her direction she sees the force already in front of her. She braces for impact.

"RACHEL!" He reaches his hand to her and increases his speed. In a blink, he disappeared.

She felt something drag her and crash to the ground. All she saw was black. It was the color of his long-sleeved shirt inside his jacket and was in a warm embrace. It was Ragna holding her. He chose the second option.

They both stood up, "Ragna? What was that? Was it an illusion?." Then suddenly, felt something soaking wet as she touched him. She looks at her hand and sees blood. Ragna now breathing heavily from the damage he took. He may have attained a god-like power boost, but he is still mortal. One of the weapons that would damage him but not enough to kill even if used to its fullest extent is a Nox Nyctores and he was hit by one. Not only that, it was used by someone in the Susano'o unit amplifying the output of the weapon's damage. It still wasn't enough to kill him but the power it contains is still immeasurable.

"R-Rachel...? You alright...? You gotta be careful sometimes rabbit..." Ragna asks her and then collapses on his knees while holding her shoulders. "RAGNA!" She immediately catches him and lays him down gently. Ragna coughing, "Oh boy...*cough* that's bad." too wounded to even move properly but he was not okay, at the same time he is. He's still alive and the wound wasn't very fatal, but it did a lot of damage.

"You didn't have to do that you low-class idiot!" Gripping his jacket tightly with her face looking like she was about to cry. Hakumen slowly approaching the two, Rachel prepares her battle stance with Nago and Gii finally arriving. "Princess we're here!" Gii yells. "What happened to Mr. Ragna?" Nago is concerned about the wounded criminal.

Hakumen sheathes his sword and speaks, "My theory was correct. You are not from this world. You absorbed my strongest attack with all of my power. Your strength was abnormally different compared to when we last fought. It is safe to say that your will and power alone without the Azure Grimoire have very well surpassed me. I am now beneath you. Be proud."

"What the hell did you do that for? Fucking jackass..." Ragna later coughs out blood annoyed.

"I knew you had the power to save your dear Harlequin and take the blow. If you didn't arrive in time, that blast could have killed her." He folded his arms.

Rachel clenched her fist as she commands lightning to strike Hakumen to keep his distance away from Ragna. A feeling that she had grown against Terumi, now directed towards Hakumen. The feeling of hatred.

"You are not to LAY A FINGER ON RAGNA!" Furious and livid. Her calm, cool and collected head snapped as she realizes that Ragna had shielded her with his body as a resort to protect her from Hakumen's attack. In all those years she has kept it all locked inside her, the sheer negativity. She wouldn't budge psychologically if it had anything to do with her, but seeing Ragna on similar occasions can already shatter her demeanor. She bawled her eyes out when first witnessing Ragna turning into the black beast and watching him die the first few times. Even after all of that, she never got used to it. Her emotions clump together and pressurize in the bottle and her patience runs out. Now, she snapped because Hakumen had used her to test his "theory" to verify Ragna's abnormal change in this world. She could not stand seeing him get hurt anymore.

Ragna never got to see this side of her until now. He tries to get up to calm her down but was too injured to do so. He still tries to battle the pain in order to get up, even the slightest. "Dammit body, move!"

She continues to blame herself for being careless. Her familiars started to shiver in fear while they execute the commands given to them by the vampire. Lightning rods fall from the sky and surrounding Hakumen. "I cannot forgive you for what you have done. Baden Baden Lily!" She rises up in the air, the wings on her dress spread wide and open, they resemble bat wings. She raises her hand and points towards the center. The location where the masked hero was standing. Hakumen stands there and absorbs the shock. Rachel was sending all kinds of electrifying weapons and magic and lethal projectiles. She then realized that Hakumen was not fighting back.

"Why aren't you defending yourself self-proclaimed, Mr. Hero?" With a scorned look.

"I deserve this punishment. I had set unnecessary flames to test my theory. Even after I could no longer sense the Black Beast within him anymore. I was ready to carry the burden if that were to take his life or yours." Rachel listened but didn't give a damn, he looked like he was not planning on getting closer anymore and that was all she cared about.

Ragna groaning "Yeah, fuck you too masked freak. That was really fucking cold. I thought you would not...pull any dirty tricks...damn, that hurt real bad. I can't really get a break huh?" Ragna trying his best to sit up. Rachel quickly stops Ragna, "Heed my words, you are to rest." Ragna is supported by Nago as a cushion for him to lean on for him to sit upright. She looks around at the front of him for any wounds before she views behind him.

"I'm alright, this is just a scratch. It's not as bad as having a hole in my chest or even eating Noel's cooking. Or losing an arm- OW!" Rachel slaps him.

"You imbecile! You had me worried to death and you jest?!" She buries herself into his chest and tightens her grasp on him, not caring if his bloodstains her dress. He hugs her back. "What matters to me is you're okay." Ragna placed his hand on her cheek.

Rachel holds his hand by her cheek and responds, "What matters to me is you're alive. Don't do that to me again you miserable dog! Or I'll kill you myself!" He rolls his eyes as he receives more verbal abuse, "Yeah yeah, I love you too bunny-leech." He pulls her in for an embrace.

Hakumen sees the sight of the couple. Their deep concern for each other. For so long in his life in combat, he had no feelings of hesitation and regret whenever he does his duty. He feels something aching in his chest. He felt remorse. Something he had never felt ever since he was a child who had gotten lectured by his older brother and foster mother. The time before he became a warrior and had a body of flesh. After he had lost someone he cared deeply for. Before he entered the Susano'o unit. He missed the feeling of being loved by a loved one.

Tager arrives at the scene tired. "Huff...I might need to ask Kokonoe...to help me run with this...a little weight loss could do." catching his breath. He sees an injured Ragna being hugged by Rachel. A contemplating Hakumen and a destroyed district. "What happened here? An enemy?" Tager disabled his safety mode and proceeded to combat measures.

Hakumen raises his hand to him, "No, there was no enemy. It was I and the Dark One that exchanged blades and destroyed this street. The street was merely an obstacle during our exchange." Tager walks to Ragna. "I see those injuries are being healed by the Azure Grimoire. Oh my god...those are a lot of wounds. The wait is that a chunk of flesh gone at the side of your hip?" Ragna looks over his damaged jacket.

"Huh. Didn't notice, it'll heal anyways- OW! God damn it Rabbit! Can you stop hitting me PLEASE?!" Rachel gave him another slap, "You dumb ignorant fool. Even if it gets healed by that Azure Grimoire of yours it's best to prevent infection. It may even deform your skin. Nago, please turn it into a chair so that I may take a look at the damage. Gii, hand me the first aid kit. I will be tending to his wounds for now."

Wait, First aid kit? Since when did she study medical stuff? He thinks to himself. "Since when did you learn to become a doctor? Did Litchi give you lessons? And where did you even get the first aid kit." Ragna surprised. "Oh please, during my time of observing, I have even learned and gained knowledge in the methods of medication. And magic." Sounds like she was proud of it.

"But you are still a novice in cooking." Ragna grins. She wasn't the best at cooking and Ragna sometimes teaches her while he was still in his world. He knew because this is still Rachel we're talking about.

"Hush! Or I'll pour a handful of salt on your wound. Do you absolutely think that you can get a painless treatment after mocking me so?" She smiles in a dark manner.

He was scared.

Sometime later...

"Can you walk? I am a little too short to assist you in standing up. I'll have Nago to be your assistant for walking." Rachel admitted that she would just be a walking stick if you visualize due to her height.

Of course, she would want to help him in any way possible if available, but she has Nago. The shape-shifting cat. Is it even a cat?

"It's okay it's nothing." Being the stubborn idiot he is.

"I insist that you use Nago as a walking stick or else I'll leave you crippled." She looks at him sharply.

He swallows his saliva and complies.

They decided they are gonna have to rest for the day. So far, nothing has happened and Ragna needs to heal. The Nox Nyctores slows down his healing process, so Ragna needs more time to recover. He was gonna tell the group but he plans to do it when Kokonoe calls.

"Choose what floor you may want to stay in. As long we are able to contact each other quickly and easily." Tager told the group as they arrived at a big hotel. With nobody inside.

"Very well. I and Ragna will stay on the 3rd floor."

"I'll stay on the very top. I'll have to keep an eye on every area. Keep him safe." The Red Devil Didn't really need rest because of the tampering of his ability to sleep by Kokonoe. Tager has the ability to continue without feeling mentally exhausted. But he still needs to sleep whenever he needs to.

"I am to move forward. I am opening my communications to the Grimalkin. She had already installed a communicating device on me after she pulled me out of the boundary. Even so, I refused her voice coming out of my head. He leaves and looks back, "Harlequinn take care of him. And Ragna, do not disappoint me."

This startled the three of them. Hakumen showing that he cares?

"Woah, yeah sure...I guess you're not that cold." Holding on to Nago and Rachel.

"My my, he turned in a new leaf." Still looking at him with a displeased face.

"That was certainly unusual." Tager documenting the unusual behavior.

Later after they reached their perspective spots...

"You go ahead."

"No, you go first and make use of the lavatory Ragna." He healed most of his wounds but he still had some more wounds that need closing, and he is immensely fatigued by the healing factor doing work to his body. So, she is going to assist him.

"Uhhh, well this is awkward." He had to break the silence as she just waits for him to sit down. They were in a big bathroom in a prestigious hotel, pretty convenient that they had run into it and had to take a break. Their rooms are massive. Especially their bathrooms.

"Now, off with your clothes." She takes off his jacket and hangs it by the metal handle near them and hums. "Your jacket has sustained a big amount of punishment and this is your only clothing. I'm fairly surprised at how you managed to maintain your hygiene." She talks as she takes off her shawl for easier movement to help Ragna.

Ragna stared at her. He had not seen her that much without her shawl. Revealing a few of her curves and seeing her like that up close made him zone out a bit. Rachel notices his odd look and looks at what he was staring at. She blushes a little.

"Avert your gaze, unless you want to awaken from your slumber sore."

"S-sorry!" he shakes his head as he returns to earth. He sees Rachel looking away in embarrassment but seeing her smile a bit. She was pleased that he likes her features

"Ahem... where were we? Oh yeah! Benefits of having good hygiene I think? At least I don't smell like Bang." He tries to return to the subject and shudders as he remembers the smell of the ninja when he came to help Bang for a favor while he was sweating a waterfall, it was horrendous. "I even take really long baths if I was not able to for a few days.

"Heavens! Where are my manners, I had forgotten to place my footwear outside." Rachel takes off her boots and places them neatly outside the bathroom. She wonders about Ragna's statement as she returns inside the bathroom. "Then, when was your last trip in the lavatory or at the shallow side of a lake?" She asks as she grabs his jacket at the metal bar and folds it.

"Hmm.." He was in the Amaterasu unit for a while and pretty much was just there. He somehow kept himself clean and maintained his cleanliness. It was weird. He doesn't know how long he had been residing there. But seeing the condition his sword was in, he guesses it was a few months or more.

"A few months ago."

"Did I hear you correctly?" she stops her humming and folding revealing a dismayed face.

"Yeeeeahhh..." He scratches his head. "We're lucky to find this hotel too, I really need a long bath."

"You disgusting unhygienic lying..." and so on. He forgot to tell her that he was present in the Amaterasu Unit for a long time.
