4 Figures were walking around a forest. A cat is being held by a mage, a robot, and a student.

"You see that light Darling?" Nine seeing the beacon of light being expelled from a certain building.

"Huh, guess we'll have to find out. And uhm...are you gonna let me go?" Jubei was being hugged like a stuffed toy by Nine.

"Never." She snuggles into his head.

"Big Sister, you might need to give Jubei some space. He might not be able to breathe." Celica poked her shoulder.

"I-it's fine Celica, I'm alright." He is not alright.

"Big sister, you were about to kill us back then, how did you suddenly have a change of heart?" Celica asked Nine.

"I was under the spell of Terumi and Izanami. Under the influence of the mind eater. Even if I gained my consciousness and in an attempt to kill them, the spell wouldn't let me raise my finger in my own will. I'm sorry to say this but after all of these shenanigans, I'll be your enemy once more."

"That's terrible! Sister you can't!" She covered her mouth. She felt terrible when she told her that she was being controlled against her will.

"Yeah, So while I'm free I'll take the time to be with Mitsuyoshi. I'll go find a room for the both of us if we end up running into a motel."

Jubei realized where she was going with that sentence and started squirming.

"N-Nine! Not now, we have to investigate a phenomenon and I got an image to maintain!"

"I don't care."

Celica can only laugh nervously and be anxious when the time comes.

Meanwhile in the building of Jin's group.

"Woah, you see that light? Do you think Ragna is there?" Noel talking to Makoto.

"Should we go check it out? Tsubaki you in?"

"I'll go if Jin agrees to join." Tsubaki focused on the light.

"Very well, let's go." Jin stands up. "I'll take the lead."

Jin's group is now heading to the building.

Hazama's location...

"Yo Hazama, should we check out that light protruding from that building over there?" Terumi is intrigued about what it may bring.

"For the best, we should not. I can sense a lot of familiar people and they are not friends. They are most likely going to kill us on sight." Hazama fixates his hat.

"You just don't want to fight Dontcha?" Terumi annoying him.

"Yes and no. Can you leave me alone now?"

"I knew it."

Terumi and Hazama are now off the list. They won't go towards the hotel.

A certain man falls from the sky and hits his head face-first on the concrete. His appearance comes with brown hair with black clothing, red crosses on his clothes, and his right arm covered in black. His name was Naoto Kurogane.

"Raquel where the hell did you send me this time? You better be wearing clothes when I get back." He stands up seeing a beacon of light from a very far distance. "I need some answers about this place. I got a bad feeling about this." He runs towards the building.

A tall man with a big stature with marks all over his torso emerges from Ibukido. "Damn. How long was I asleep? That light over there. Might find a good meal. I'm hungry." He cracks his neck, hands, and arms. "It's about damn time I get to fight people!" Azrael is now on his way to the building. He was never concerned about his well-being. All he wants is a good fight.

Hakumen noticed the light far from his location. "Dark One...you fool. You have now made yourself into a target. Brace yourselves, you do not know who may enter the building. It may be a friend or foe." He proceeds to move forward.

In the hotel for the time being...

"How on earth do you manage to make such good food? I might have Valkenhayn take lessons from you." Rachel enjoyed her meal.

The criminal even took the time to make extra for her familiars.

"Ragna you are too kind!" Gii is crying tears of joy.

"This is just splendid!" Nago savoring every bite he takes.

"I've got to be honest, this tastes great for someone who is known to be the world's most feared terrorist," said Tager while using his two fingers to hold his utensils. Ragna's eye twitched when he heard him say that.

"Glad you all liked it. It was Sister's special. She taught me how to cook and Master helped me improve with his techniques, in addition to the trial of error when I started cooking again in an abandoned restaurant and its resources were still fresh. Honestly, who would leave it there?" Ragna is proud of himself. He had taken a good look at the hotel's pantry, later finding out about how it was stuffed with ingredients and meat. He made curry and pasta since those were some of his favorite dishes to cook together with his foster mother.

"Still, how does Noel even mess up cooking. She doesn't even learn from her mistakes. *Sigh* Saya, you too. You're terrible at cooking..."Ragna cleans up the table.

Meanwhile in a different building...

"Hey Noellers what's the matter?" Makoto sees a visually hurt Noel.

"I just felt like someone said something bad about me, that's all." She could somehow sense Ragna's insult from far away. Her self-esteem going down even lower.

While Noel in Ragna's original world felt annoyed. "Why do I feel irritated?" She was trying to improve her cooking, but the stove exploded. "L-LAMBDA! WE MIGHT NEED SOME WATER!" She was that bad at cooking.

Everyone finished eating but Rachel questions the criminal. "Why haven't you eaten?" She wipes her mouth with a handkerchief.

"The sight of you guys enjoying my cooking is enough to give me some energy." He lets out a smile.

"Bogus claim! You require sustenance and nutrients. You know we can't proceed with an empty stomach." She pulls out a plate filled with food. She had saved extra as a snack for later if She was bored. So she decided to change her mind and give it all to him.

A growl from his stomach. He then sees a smirk from Rachel's lips. "See?"

"Okay, fine." He rolled his eyes.

"I'm detecting movement from outside. My radar says there's 3." Tager starts to look at the cameras, interrupting Ragna from taking a bite.

"Uh helloooooo? Anybody home?" Makoto waving at the camera.

"What a relief...more allies." Tager turning off the defenses, he was about to use them.

"Hooold on, you made transforming guns and weaponized the Hotel entrance?" Ragna shocked.

"Why not? Safety first."

"What a pain. I'll go meet them outside. Rachel, give the food to your stuffed toys instead." Ragna stood up and leaves.

"I wish to follow." She follows along.

"You guys aren't going?" Tager asks the familiars.

"If the princess doesn't deem someone a threat she doesn't bring us." Gii eating Ragna's dish on his plate.

"She's with Ragna as well so she's definitely safe in his hands." Nago followed up the statement Gii mentioned.

"Better than being alone perhaps." Tager puts down his glasses. "A few more days huh? Guess I'll slack off for now..."

As the two arrive, Jin started to lose control and became ballistic. "BROTHER IS THAT YOU?!" His Yukianesa took over.

Ragna groans, "This again? Alright, I'll make some changes. I should've done this earlier."

"Jin! Snap out of it!" Tsubaki holding on to jin.

"Major stop!" Noel holds on to his sword.

"He's stronger than he looks! Hnnrgh! You're definitely the Major alright!" Makoto trying to lock his arms.

The three were being dragged like nothing when he started sprinting towards Ragna. The girls scream as they were holding on to Jin for dear life.

"LET'S KILL EACH OTHER-"

He grabs his head. Due to the inertia, everyone who tried to hold him down crashed behind Ragna.

"W-what are you doing?!" Tsubaki summoned her Izayoi after quickly recovering.

"I suggest that you relax, he is just going to eradicate the tampering of his Nox Nyctores. You'll have to thank him later." Rachel taps Tsubaki's arm.

"Madam Rachel?!" Tsubaki was startled after Rachel spoke behind them.

"Sorry Jin, this'll knock you out but it doesn't mean it won't hurt either!" Light surrounds the two as Jin tries to escape his grasp. He summons out his sword and tries to stab Ragna but it bounces off of him. "Nice, I'm more durable." The sound of his Idea Engine regulating the Yukianesa's control starts to become louder. "Reverse Output!" The light disperses and disappears. Ragna lays him down gently.

"Jin! What did you do to him?!" She brings out her Izayoi and points it at Ragna's nape. Ragna doesn't bat an eye. "I took care of the system's hypnotizing or whatever you call it. Let him rest. I drained him both physically and mentally. Go find a room in the hotel."

"Ragna! Are there any more with you? Is it only you and Lady Rachel staying in the hotel?" Noel began to wonder about what they were doing. She shook her head when she imagined something else. "They must be...!" She turns red and shakes it off. "No! I shouldn't think about it. I mustn't invade their privacy."

"That's a big hotel!" Makoto focused on the building in front of them.

"Everyone get in. It looks like it's gonna rain soon." Ragna tells everyone to enter.

As everyone else had entered, the couple was slowly walking to the entrance.

"You did well saving your brother there Ragna. The handling of your powers has indeed resulted in a significant change." Rachel was impressed seeing how well he can control his powers.

"Yeah. I still got plenty more to learn what this thing can do." He felt proud of himself.

"Let's go back inside, shall we?" Rachel holding his hand. They both return inside.

Tsubaki and Makoto carry Jin's unconscious body and puts him on the lobby's couch. Ragna approaches them, "I'll ask questions later. For now, you should all get some rest. Pick a room, I'll accompany you along the way."

"Why do we need to trust you?" Tsubaki glared at him with malicious intent. "I don't listen from a terrorist, Bloodedge."

"Tsubaki calm down..." Makoto trying to cool off her steam.

"W-wait we shouldn't. Uh...Tsubaki I trust this man. He had saved me countless times. There's no need to be so prickly against him. He's a good person!" Noel trying to convince the untrustworthy Tsubaki.

Ragna was already getting frustrated. "Hey, rabbit can you do the talking instead? Tsubaki really hates my guts." The vampire walks to the girl and talks to her. He couldn't hear what they were talking about, but he sees Tsubaki nodding.

"Ragna, you are to follow them when they find an area to sleep in." As she walks past him. "I'll go on ahead and read a book. I will wait for your presence in our chamber."

"I'll see you there." He walks to Tsubaki taking Jin's shoulder and putting it over him. "How dare you touch him!" She points her weapon towards him.

"Look, he's my brother. Do you not see that I am worried too? I may be a fucking terrorist but that doesn't mean that I would ignore my family. He's all I got left after what happened." He didn't want to say that Noel's his sister in a way, He didn't want to make a bigger mess to deal with. He knew that even after wiping their memories after they realize what was going on. Some will have a little bit remaining. Noel may possibly even have an exception and keep some important memories once wiped. Hold on, Tsubaki heard him say, "He's all he got left?" She begins to think, "After what happened?" She felt a bit of sympathy. Noel followed but was in silence. Noel was also adopted by the Vermillion family. She was found alone in the aftermath of the war.

"What happened to your family?" she questions him. "Not many people know about what happened to me back then, consider yourself lucky." Ragna breathes in, "We only had each other. Me, Jin, and a little sister, her name was Saya. She awfully looks similar to Noel. We were used for experiments and we were rescued by my master, Jubei. One of the six heroes. I didn't trust him at first but he took care of us for the time being. He brought us to a church where we can live and stay. Master told us he had important matters to take care of...we didn't know that during that time he was wanted by the NOL. I was overprotective and pretty much kept a distance from the sister of the church." He laughs in sorrow, he misses his foster mother.

They arrived at the room and entered. He places Jin on the bed for him to rest on. "Oooohhhhh please tell us more!"

"Yeah, I wanna know what's going on."

"Please continue."

He sighs, "Fine. We were inseparable, we got closer to the sister and I was still stubborn. My little sister was terrible at cooking just like Noel." Little did Noel know that she is his sister, he is gonna have to keep his mouth shut for that. He does not want to disrupt anything.

"Ow." Noel frowned from the unnecessary burn.

"I was the overprotective and hardworking one. Jin here was picking on our little sister and was a crybaby. He wanted most of my attention" He laughs, "He was afraid of the moon too. My method of keeping him from sleeping late was telling him that the moon would fall on him if he were not to sleep."

"I suggest that you shouldn't talk about that." Jin gets up slowly.

"WAIT REALLY?! IS IT TRUE?" Makoto surprised

"Major is afraid of the moon? What about now is he still afraid?" Noel asked him more questions.

Tsubaki looks at Jin and asks, "Are the things he mentioned are true?" He looks away and his eye twitches.

"I will not confirm nor deny." His looks obviously looked like they were true. He was bad at lying, the sister would punish them if they were to be dishonest. Their punishment was to do the laundry all by themselves.

"Wait Jin you were really afraid of the moon?" A visible smile from Tsubaki.

"Quiet all of you..." Jin already looked pissed, but unfortunately, his comrades can never look at him the same way anymore.

"Guess I'll get going. Can't leave a lady waiting." He gets up and opens the door. Tsubaki calls out to him.

"Sorry for being rude earlier..." Tsubaki looked like she felt bad.

"It's fine, you can still hate me. But lower it down whenever I try to help Jin, he's family too."

"Huh...?" Tsubaki looks down and Jin touches her shoulder and looks up to him. "Brother, I'll make sure to kill you the next time we fight, you'll pay for sharing personal information about me." Jin clutching his hands.

"Yeah, yeah. Go be with your friends, I approve of her Jin. She's a good fit for you, especially both of your bloodlust towards me. You got someone who cares about you. I can stop worrying now..." Ragna laughs a bit.

"W-what?" Jin was blushing a bit. It was not like him to react like that at all. To the rest seeing him right now was very out of character for him. He likes Tsubaki more than just a friend. Tsubaki was red as a tomato while Makoto was screaming.

"Brother, even if I intended to kill you in cold blood...you still worry about me?" That hit him hard. He always wanted attention from Ragna when they were kids. He was his idol. As time passes on, he forgot those inspirations due to the influence of the Yukianesa and only felt a sense of motivation for that was his only drive. "You don't have to worry about me anymore. I can take care of myself." He tells him.

"You can't do everything on your own, that's why you have to rely on others too, Jin. Especially her." He closes the door. Jin was touched. Why was he kind to him? From what he had remembered, he was threatening to beat the shit out of him in Kagura's office.

"From the news and information I've heard and received. The conversations I heard while people were talking about him. I thought he was a terrible person. I was wrong...you're lucky to have that kind of sibling Jin. Jin?"

A smile from Jin's face. "I won't disappoint you brother. Tsubaki, Let's all rest for no-" He suddenly heard screaming and it penetrated his eardrums.

"HUHHHHH?! THE MAJOR IS SMILING?" Makoto screaming at the top of her lungs

"Makoto you shouldn't! That will anger the major-"

Jin looks at the two straight towards their souls. They didn't talk until then.

He finally arrives in his room. He twists the doorknob and sees Rachel on the bed reading a book. He locks the door and walks to the bed. He drops his sword on the floor and onto the bed, face-first on the pillow.

"Take off your footwear once you enter the mattress, or I'll have you sanitize it." Rachel tells the criminal to take off his shoes. He didn't take them off when he had laid down on the bed.

He takes off his shoes, "What a pain in the ass, they are a handful. When will Makoto change her clothes? How is she even confident wearing those in public? Is the authority in the NOL just a bunch of perverted bastards? Tsubaki doesn't hate me as much anymore, Noel still being Noel. Jin, He's gotten better." Venting as he buries his head in the pillow.

"You seem to handle them pretty well. Benefits of being the eldest responsible brother perhaps?" She grabs another book.

"I guess so." He throws his jacket as it hangs on the hanger.

"You may have that solid demeanor of yours, but on the inside, you're just the someone who deeply cares for his friends and loved ones." The vampire looks at him as she smiles. "You are sure to do well as a father."

He was startled when she said that. Father? He then processed and realized that the idea of raising a family with her had already gotten in his head when everything is finally over. He finally had a purpose when his drive for vengeance was over. "You're not wrong." He yawned a bit. "A dad huh." He thinks to himself.

"Drowsy already? It's 2 in the afternoon." She looks at him as he yawns. "Oh right, You had not slept a full night the other day have you not? After all, you were the one who did all the work last night." She giggled a bit.

"Well, as long we both enjoyed it. I'm all good." He yawns one more time.

"I will have the curtains shut to shorten the process for you to sleep." She tells Nago and Gii to pull the curtains to block any light entering the room and switch off the lights except for the lamp next to her. She wanted to finish her book.

"Yeah...thanks." He closes his eyes. Before he passed out, he felt a peck on his cheek, "Rest well...I shall join sooner or later." Her voice was really gentle. That phrase with that tone alone could lull a child to sleep instantly. It knocked him out.
