So this a fragment of an idea for a DC crossover that's been stuck in my head for a while. I may or may not expand on it but wth. Maybe someone will like it and take it. For context's sake. Naruto is reborn as a New God of New Genesis after fulfilling his life dream of peace, but is taken by Granny Goodness to be raised in her orphanage to be a possible weapon for Darkseid. This takes place after his escape from Darkseid's Omega Sanction.

Scandal Savage lamented over the woman lying in the hospital bed in front of her. After all the work she and Liana, the love of her life, did to get her father a damn card of all things, he betrayed and mortally injured Liana.

"Damn him!" She thought as she picked up her cellphone, turning toward the window. After dialing a certain number, she calls one of the only people that she could get revenge for her lover.

"… Who is this?" a deep voice called out.

"Listen closely as I am only going to say this once," she said. "31.1 degrees north. -112 degrees east." Before hanging up the phone.

Scandal turns to the red head. Her body covered with bandages, multiple iv's and blood bags, a patch over her left eye, and a ventilator. She had restraints to keep her from moving erratically. Breaking down at the sight, Scandal collapses next to the bed and begins to sob.

"You're a tough couple to find," a masculine voice called out door frame across the grieving Scandal. His body was hidden in the shadows so she couldn't make out his features.

"Who are you?!" Scandal said, moving between the mysterious man and her lover. She reveals her retractable lamentation blades as she readies a combat stance.

"… A friend." The man walked through the door, stroking the frame. Revealing a tall blonde hair man. He was taller than her father, broad shoulders, and a high level of physique despite the baggy clothing. He had fair skin with sharp blue eyes and three whisker marks on both sides of his face.

"At least he's unique," she thought. The man smirked at her once over. "Oh? The mighty Scandal Savage is checking me out? What would your girlfriend think?"

"S-silence!" Scandal blushed. Forcing her to lose focus for a second. Taking the opportunity, the man sped towards her, disarming the woman and pinning her. "So fast," she thought.

"Easy diversion and disarm tactic. And here I thought you were better than that?"

The man ties up the woman in thin wire, preventing her from moving her. Placing her in the chair in front of the bed, the man walks over to the critical conditioned Knockout. Placing his hand over her body, a soft green light exhumed from his palm, bring relief to the woman.

"What are you doing?!"

"Examining her while bring her some relief," he said. "And don't bother calling out for help. I put privacy barrier from around the room. No sound in or out can pass through and civilians are urged to stay away from the barrier through slight illusions."

She paused at his response, thinking the man would hurt the love of her life. But here he was helping her. "And the barrier," she thought. There was no chance of getting help and was completely at his mercy.

"… She'll die at this rate," he said. "Despite her new god physiology and healing factor, the multiple gunshot wounds, especially the one to the left eye."

"Can you save her?"

"… Yes. But on three conditions."

Scandal's anger grew once more. "It's always a catch with men!" She thought.

"What is it," she hissed.

"First, I need the location of the man who did this."

"Oh?" Scandal paused, not expecting the answer.

"Is that fine?"

"Yes. What's the next one?"

"The second condition is that you don't tell her who healed her. If she finds out who saved her, she won't stop till she finds me and either beats me to a pulp or kills me outright."

"Oh? And who are you?"

"A man from her past and lets leave at that."

Scandal paused, her curiosity peaked at the connection or former between her lover and this man. He seemed to be scared at the prospect of being hunted by her despite his skill.

"And the third."

"Do you love her?"

"Huh?"

"Do you love her," he repeated.

"Yes I do," she said with conviction.

"… Good. Then I want you to vow to marry her, no more of the will I won't I game your playing. I know she loves you and you her, but both of your stupid insecurities keep in the way of that."

"But," she said. "Your father be damned," he interrupted. "He'll probably won't live past tonight either by my hand or the Suicide Squad."

Scandal paused at the man. She wasn't expecting these conditions nor his convictions. "Why are you doing this?"

"… She may not be blood related, but I'll be damned if I didn't want my sister to be happy. Now do you accept these conditions."

Scandal was shocked at the revelation as she hadn't expected the man to say he was Liana's brother.

"I do."

"Good. Now you may want to cover your eyes. It's about to get bright," he said as the wire suddenly went slack. The man holds out his hands over the woman before taking a deep breath… Exhaling, his hands exhume a bright white light as Liana started to heal at a rapid rate, even growing back her right eye.

"It's done. Now about that location?"

"31.1 degrees north. -112 degrees east."

"Thank you," he said as he walked towards the door. The bustling noise of the hospital resumed as he exits the door.

"Wait!"

"Hm?"

"… Who are you?"

The man grinned at the woman. His smile almost looking feline in nature. "Or a fox," she thought.

"Naruto. Uzumaki Naruto… Remember love. Don't tell her."
