After a long semester or short in some eyes. It was time for a vacation, well that's what Cinder thought anyway. After all of the daily training and classes that Ruby didn't let her cut she was tried and wanted to get out of the dorm for a few days at least. So when both teams sat down for lunch she had to ask everyone, "So what is everyone going to do during the break?"

"I was gonna visit my family." Jaune said through his sandwich. Yet half of the group just sighed and looked less than happy when he said family, they shrugged it off but Weiss just had to declare her plans.

"Well my family owns a beach house and I figured that is where I would spend my time..." she trailed off towards the end of the sentence when she noticed all eyes were on her, "What?"

Cinder had the kind of look that only schemer's who had the most heinous plot already forming. She needed to be tactful and subtle about this otherwise she would be heading home for her break. She was the pariah of the town so that meant socializing was out and there was nothing to do around their cabin on Patch which meant she would be bored out of her mind. So she needed this more than-"Can we come?"

Ruby had already asked the question depriving her of being cordial and planning around every social pitfall of inviting yourself on someone's vacation. Cinder turned to Ruby with the look of pure and sickening sisterly love that marked that she was going to do something terrible. But much to her surprise Weiss just answered Ruby's query, "I guess you could come... I just don't think there will be much for all of us to do. My father bought it for family vacations so we could all unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle of Atlas, but that usually just resulted in plenty of sunburns."

"That's fine... it beats spending a week alone in the dorm." Eve said as relaxed as ever preventing Cinder from interjecting.

"What are you planning to do, hours of weighted sand training?" Arslan accused over the table, "Thinking that will help you get the edge on me. Well don't expect that you can get ahead like that," she turned to Weiss in the middle of the interrogation and declared, "Sign me up to."

"Uuhhh," Weiss didn't have time to even answer like Cinder being interrupted as well.

"That does sound better than returning home after I just got here." Trifa said at the head of the table. When all eyes turned to her there was a solid pause as no one wanted to intervene and tell her no as they were all inviting themselves on Weiss' vacation. This sparked several arguments only for two people to remain mostly quiet, Emerald looked at Mercury waiting for her to intervene and declare that they would be going as well. Yet when that never came she elbowed the grey girl expecting her to respond.

"What?" Mercury questioned her partner while giving the dumbfounded look of someone who was expected to do something she was uncomfortable with.

"Ask," Emerald whispered to her.

"I don't know they said sand and that always gets stuck in... undesirable places."

"Come on I've never seen a beach before."

"Well then ask them. I won't stop you." Mercury was detached from what her partner's desire and was completely ambivalent to her desires but if she wanted to do it she could ask herself. Yet Emerald still hadn't and it was probably because of the crippling social anxiety that she constantly suffers from so she wouldn't ask to join herself. That was what Mercury was for forcing Emerald to step out of her comfort zone. Yet if she wanted to do it she would have to find the courage to speak up and that meant Mercury would never have to go.

"WE WOULD LIKE TO GO AS WELL!" This drew all attention to them making Emerald shrink back immediately and causing Mercury to take full brunt of the attention.

"So that's everyone, it looks like we're all going to Schnee Manor." Cinder declared.

"We're not. We are going to a beach house." Weiss interjected.

"What's the difference?" Eve questioned.

"Schnee Manor is in Atlas."

"That- ugh fine. We're going to Schnee Beach House!" Cinder produced.

When the day finally arrived team RECW packed their bags and met team JAME at the airfield. Weiss the ever diligent one went over the list of things they would need, "Checklist time!"

"Do we really need to go through a checklist? I mean we just packed and I'm sure we got it all." Cinder reasoned with her teammate only to be subjected to the intensity of the little white girl and her need for organization.

"We're doing this now for that exact reason as it's fresh." She gave the look of someone who knew it all and that made Cinder want to punch her in the face but that didn't stop Weiss, "So the obvious start, toiletries?"

Mercury's hand shot up at the first checkbox, "I did not bring a toilet. Will that be a problem?"

"What- No. It means all your bathroom necessities."

"Ooooohhh, then no I don't have those." This caused Weiss actual physical pain as the girl didn't even have the basics.

"I packed it for you." Emerald said to her partner. Before Mercury could say anything else Weiss just moved ahead.

"Okay next, Swimsuits?"

Eve's hand was the next to launch up as she had a less than concerned look on her face, "I didn't know that was necessary."

"Well then just wear your underwear instead..." Weiss mused hoping that her teammate had something appropriate to wear. Cinder asked the next question.

"Just checking you have something to cover this general vicinity of your body, right?" She asked as she motioned towards the taller girls upper half.

"Is that necessary?" This got several confused looks as everyone else paused to think about how they should answer the girl. Only after much internal debating did they all silently agree.

"No, not really." Ruby said as they where all thinking the same thing or most of them were. The one that wasn't nearly burst out of her hair ponytail as she declared to the taller girl much to everyone's disdain.

"Well they're required on the beach so we'll buy some as we pass through the town there." Weiss said to all of whom were ready to allow their friend to go without for their own person and probably sick amusement. Weiss just waited for anymore complaints and when none arouse she said, "Then I guess we're set."

She made them embark quickly after that not taking any questions and hoping that they wouldn't ask any. Inside the plane was like entering another world where everything was white and had to be perfect otherwise it would be sent back for another. Everything in the cabin screamed high class. The seats were a nice opulent white leather recliners that looked to Jaune like the kind that you find in the mall that give massages.

The two seats in the front row were on opposite sides of the cabin while two more seats were behind them. Then directly behind the second row was another three seats of which two seats stuck together on the right wall with the other one solitary on the right, but to some comfort they same pattern was reversed and had three more seats facing the front of the plane at the very back.

Weiss quickly sat down in the left front seat and waited for her companions to take theirs. Cinder took the one next to her with Eve sitting behind her partner. Ruby followed suit and sat behind her partner. This left the back six for the rest, Emerald and Mercury chose to sit next to each other in the back seats while Arslan took the solitary one in the corner. Jaune took the one facing backwards across from her much to his chagrin, he hoped he could keep it together for the entire flight otherwise things would get more awkward between them.

It didn't take long for the aircraft to get into the air and to the many that hadn't been in a luxury aircraft, well they began with stealing the silverware. It became incredibly clear that they all lived several worlds away from Weiss when the stewards came out to offer refreshments and snacks. Mercury and Emerald took full advantage taking all they could get covering their tray table the entire assortment of snacks. Weiss smiled as she saw that, as it reminded her of her little brother, always gluttonously eating ridiculous amounts of snacks on their beach trips.

Eve went to sleep rather quickly leaving Cinder to amuse herself. Ruby however had her head in her comic and was sitting perfectly silent only to be ruined when Weiss turned her chair around to face her. Ruby pretended she didn't notice as she silently reached into her bag to pull out her headphones case. With one hand she opened it and pulled out her silence enhancers only to be surprised when one of the earbuds popped off. Ruby looked at it for a solid second before she looked to Weiss, "I assume you did this."

"Wha- I would never stoop so low-"

"I did," Cinder interrupted Weiss. Ruby just gave her sister the most disapproving look as she was now going to be forced to deal with her teammates. Ruby just glared as she was contemplating blowing a hole in the fuselage killing them all. But Weiss just glanced between the two of them and in a moment of clever foresight she hit the call button right above her head and in seconds a steward was at her side.

"What can I get you Miss Schnee?"

"Would you mind getting me a new set of headphones, please?" She sweetly asked the steward as he nodded and quickly beat a retreat to the back of the aircraft. Ruby didn't look satisfied when she heard this.

"Great, now I will get a pair of cheap foamy airline headphones that are not worth-" Ruby was angry but she didn't get to finish her thought when interrupted by the steward coming back with a clean white box. It was a new pair of Raditz by Carrot all Schnee themed, they were white headphones with the interior of the band being red and instead of the Radish logo on the side there was a snowflake. Weiss just took it in her hands and thanked him as left.

"Here these should replace the old ones," Weiss began to slide them across the table and Ruby was practically foaming at the mouth when she saw them.

"I have wanted a pair for the longest time but Mom said they were too expensive, and yet Cinder got a car," Ruby said absent mindedly aloud. Cinder gave her the look of false loving sisterhood as she was about to correct her sister on how she paid for that car, but Weiss was still the honestly kind sister she never had when right before she handed them to Ruby she declared.

"Only if you interact with us on the trip instead of just reading comics the whole time," she dangled them in front of her leader and for a second she could swear Ruby was debating whether or not to just let the headphones slip out of her grasp. The answer finally came after several seconds of silence.

"Fine." Ruby said through her teeth. Weiss handed the headphones to her leader as she had forced her into social interactions. Cinder looked satisfied with her scheming when she stood up and walked to the back of the plane hoping to find a powder room. What she found instead was a pile of wrappers on a table, Arslan either asleep or meditating and Jaune greener than Emeralds hair.

"You okay buddy," she said quickly and gently kicking his leg. This just drew his attention and ever so slowly he turned his head to face her, he looked like he was about to gracefully shit his pants or explode. She hoped it was explode.

"I'm fine, just a little motion sick." Jaune choked out from gritted teeth, "I read that sitting backwards in a plane increases-" He didn't get to finish his thought when the aircraft shuddered and he quickly had to use his hands to cover his mouth. Cinder saw this and immediately understood how she could make this worse, so she began to execute her newly forming plan. She kicked Arslan not so gently causing her to open her eyes and glare at Cinder. But Cinder didn't even give her time to be mad when she told Arslan.

"Eve want's to arm wrestle." Cinder said with a nonchalant expression.

"Oh really and she sent Miss can't run a mile," Arslan replied, with that quip Cinder's eyes narrowed as she glared at the other woman.

"Oh well, I guess I'll just have to tell her you were afraid you were too weak."

"For the record I know you're playing me, but my honor can't refuse a challenge like this." Arslan shot up at the challenge and declared just before she moved to the front of the plane and took Cinder's seat across from Eve. Cinder quit paying attention as she moved into the seat across from Jaune who still looked like he was only a few steps away from being a frog. Cinder hit the call button and nearly instantly the steward was right there.

"Do you have any saltines?"

"Uh, I think so let me check in the back."

"Oh, and with those can you bring a few bottles of water." Cinder said like she was plotting something. And just as quickly as the steward left he returned with a box of crackers and water. Cinder thanked him and looked to Jaune, "Eat these."

Yet he couldn't hear her as he was too busy not trying to vomit, so when Cinder saw this she took it into her own hands and manually pried open his mouth and dropped a few crackers in it. It only took a few seconds but the urge to vomit eased a little enough for him to acknowledge his surroundings. And with several blinks he said, "What was that?"

"Crackers," Cinder said with a shrug, and when he gave her the curious look she said, "When mom used to take us on trips we'd get up really early and pile into the car. And lets just say plenty of motion mixed with half starved and mostly sleep deprived children made for some painful and nauseas journeys. So to alleviate that nausea we were given saltines and water to keep ourselves stable."

Jaune followed along the story while stuffing his face full of crackers hoping that it would stabilize him. Cinder just watched for several seconds before she leaned over the table getting closer to Jaune and as silently as possible slipped her foot out of her heel and lifted it to his thigh. When he regained enough feeling in his body he instantly noticed her foot. His eyes shot wide as Cinder gave that same devilish look she always had when she was forming a scheme. While she kept her foot in place Jaune looking incredibly uncomfortable said, "Uh, what are you doing?"

"I read that one remedy for motion sickness was pleasure." She was plotting something but he couldn't figure out what, was she going to corral him into asking for something she wouldn't like and then kick him as hard as she can, was she going to lead him to the front of the plane and pants him in front of everybody, or even worse was she actually going to go through with it. What he didn't know was that Cinder was going to convince him to go see what they had in back of the plane and steal her something expensive. But they were both interrupted when Mercury declared to them.

"If you're going to have sex go have your foreplay somewhere else." She said from under a blanket both her and Emerald were sharing. Cinder immediately noticed something about the grey girl.

"Are you not wearing a top?"

"What? Don't be ridiculous of course I am," Mercury said with the blanket being just above her bust. Emerald peaked out from the behind Mercury and very softly told them.

"She spilled nearly everything she could on her shirt." Cinder just gave a concerned look at the grey disaster that was Mercury.

"And you aren't wearing a bra why?"

"She spilled the rest on that." Cinder just had a half glazed over look as she shook her head at the pair. Yet their attention was drawn back to the front of the plane when they heard a loud crack and the shriek of Weiss.

"WOULD YOU PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SHATTERING THE PLANE WITH A FIST FIGHT!"

When the plane finally touched down on Non-Diescrit isle they were greeted by the opulent and outrageous Schnee welcome wagon. Right outside of the aircraft doors was a white carpet leading all the way to a massive and probably impractical limo. While along the carpet was a large amount of people in Schnee styled suits holding several flower necklaces along with a variety of other items.

The only one unaffected was Weiss as she easily descended the stairs and was greeted by a short portly balding man who happened to have no mouth, "Welcome back Ms. Schnee, I do hope your journey was ever so easy."

"It was a quite lovely flight only being interrupted by the occasional weird act that my friends committed." Weiss answered.

"Now these friends aren't imaginary, right?"

"I hope not," She says as she immediately turned to her friends all descending the staircase to the plane, "You can see them too right."

"I believe so."

"Oh good I'm glad I'm not having another episode." Weiss joked, but that joke came from a place of lonely reality. Klein gave a little chuckle as he looked over the passengers giving a quick glance over them, until he furrowed his brow.

"Is the ninth passenger still on the plane?" Weiss just gave him the side eye as she looked back at her friends and gave a quick head count. They were all there Team RECW, JAME, and Trifa.

"WE FORGOT TRIFA!" Weiss shrieked with her hands on the side of her head as she realized they had forgotten that SpiderGirl. Everyone's eyes danced between each other as they thought about what they where going to do. Until from one of the rear landing gear fell a girl in blue. She sat there shaking like a popsicle in a massage chair. They didn't have time to rush over to her when she shot up and yelled.

"That's the last time I forget to set my alarm!" They all looked at her astounded that she had managed to not freeze to death on the flight over. Ruby of course was the first to point out the obvious though.

"Found her." They all just shook their heads with a light chuckle at that statement. Before they all moved to the massive white limo that was summoned for Weiss. Inside it was just like the plane being an Icey white interior with several layers of snow themed designs. And they were off to the Beach house.

The limo ride was short but not entirely uneventful as they had to stop in the idyllic town to pick up several swimsuits for the more than unprepared. But when they arrived they were greeted by what had to be the largest 'beach house' they had ever seen. It looked like a modern igloo as it was made out of glass and white stones of some sort. When they entered they were all surprised to see how warm the interior was. It was made of wood and clashed with the outside entirely, it actually looked like how a beach house was supposed to look. When they passed through the den they were which had a center setting with a firepit in the middle, Along with a smallish kitchen on the right. Until they arrived at the terrace over looking the beach itself.

"Well after we all get situated we can get dressed and go-" Weiss was trying to lead the conversation when she was interrupted.

"BEACH!" Ruby yelled as she threw off her cloths revealing her swimsuit already underneath. She bolted over the terrace railing and through the bramble completely skipping the path as she ran towards the beach. When she hit the sand her progress was slowed but not stopped entirely as she made her way for the water. When she finally reached it she did a diving motion and jumped in... only to crumple as she landed face down in a pile of sand. She remained motionless as the tide came back in and washed her out to sea.

"Welp, that solves that." Cinder commented as she looked for a dressing room. Weiss just sighed as she showed them where to change. All things considered this house was relatively small as her father wanted it specifically for family time. After all there were only 7 bedrooms so they will likely have to share. But the ones that were in awe were the ones that she least expected.

Eve and Arslan followed her through the house as if they were puppies that were afraid of getting lost. But still it didn't take long for them to all change and get out to the beach. They all reconvened on the path to the beach. All carrying an assortment of items ranging from umbrellas to a cooler that Cinder hoped was full of beer. What they found was Ruby and Jaune building a sandcastle. They didn't notice the new arrivals until after Cinder said, "That ones going on the fridge."

Ruby looked up to see the scroll is her sister's hand. With a scowl she threw a rock at her sister, it hit the scroll.

The beach was a nice fun place to be if you were with family but Jaune wasn't with family and a thought crept across his mind. As Cinder tackled her sister thought his sand castle he noticed something as it ran across his vision. He was alone with a plethora of half naked beautiful woman... This won't end well.

While the sisters fought Weiss just watched as she was worried that Ruby would go for Cinder's bikini. She was glad that Ruby had the sense to wear a one piece like herself but that didn't mean it was much more durable than a bikini just that it was less likely to cause an accident. What she was once again surprised by was Arslan and Eve, as Arslan had a cute and fashionable swimsuit only highlighted by a few accessories. Or Eve having remembered to wear clothes at all, but her swimsuit was less than appropriate as they had to buy whatever was available, and all they had in her size was a cow print bikini that covered just enough of her 'butt'. Weiss hoped she wouldn't be offended yet at the same time Eve clearly hadn't noticed or cared.

Eve planted the umbrella as she looked out over the ocean and thought out loud, "haven't seen this in a while."

"Really, did you grow up by a beach?" Weiss questioned without thinking. Eve just looked hesitant as she was worried about what would be though about her if she answered. When Weiss saw this her eyes shot wide as she she had probably just pried too deep in a sensitive subject, "Oh - uh, sorry it's okay you-"

"Sort of, I was born in Atlas, but raised in Menagerie. So I guess you could say so." Eve answered as she held her hat tight, she was worried what the girl thought of her. Weiss didn't know what to say to get her to trust her but that came when Arslan poked in.

"So you're a Faunus we know. Now take off your hat and get to sand training." It was said with as little tack as possible and made Weiss's eyes shoot wide.

"Ugh no, she was an exchange student that lived there for-"

"I've seen her naked Weiss, I know she has horns." Weiss had a dumbfounded look on her face as she slowly turned her head to face her teammate to ask. Eve was equally as confused as she began rubbing her chin.

"How?"

"I don't know... she must have snuck a camera in our dorm." Eve mused which would have made Weiss shriek if not for Arslan answering.

"We use the locker room showers after working out every day and the she never covers herself with a towel." Weiss's eyes went wide before they quickly narrowed as she scowled at Eve.

"Do I need to buy you towels? Because I'm pretty sure that is everyone so far."

"No I think I've missed Jaune and Cinder."

"Wait, Emerald and Mercury have seen and I haven't!" Cinder shouted from holding Ruby in a headlock.

"Yes and I just gotta say... she fine." Mercury said as she sat on a blanket under her umbrella, while Emerald was just blushing right next to her. Trifa just has the most incredulous look on her face after hearing that about her friend.

"I just gotta say, y'all weird."

"Wait, so you knew the whole time that she was a Faunus? Does that mean that the only person who did not know was Weiss?" Ruby asked having slipped the headlock and put her sister into a full nelson.

"I didn't know." Jaune said as her raised his hand to participate.

After the initial kerfuffle everyone got situated planting their beach towels and umbrellas. And while it take a while to chase down Ruby to apply sunscreen to her. Everything was finally calm. Well, not really. They were all causing their own sort of chaos, Ruby and Weiss were floating around on an inflatable alligator, Cinder was turning Jaune's sandcastle into a glass castle, Eve and Arslan were both running around in circles and Trifa had made a hammock in-between two palm trees. All that was left was Mercury and Emerald who were sitting together, on a blanket, under an umbrella waiting for something to happen.

Mercury was much to everyone's surprise wearing a zip up bikini top and a skirt that, like always, covered her legs. Emerald was bored and she wanted to go swim but she didn't want to alone. Sure the others were nice but they weren't Mercury. The only friend she's had since childhood, they had left home together when things got too bad with Mercury's father but they had each other so they weren't alone.

Yet now Emerald wanted to do something and Mercury didn't. This never happens its usually the other way around and without Mercury's outward attitude she didn't know how to talk to people. She still had to try, "Wanna go swimming?"

"Can't, never learned." Mercury on the other hand hated the beach. Emerald didn't know about the little lake that Marcus used to train her at. It was nice and scenic a great place to take family for a little get away or for full contact combat training. Those days hurt the worst and she wasn't allowed to stop until the day was over leaving her burnt exhausted and horribly chafed from all the sand, that was not a good 8th birthday. And now like their Faunus friend having her secret exposed she was not overly eager to flaunt her legs or lack there of.

When Emerald noticed her using the skirt to cover her legs she asked, "That's a nice skirt, it looks good on you..." Emerald paused waiting for a reply but when none came she had to continue anyway, "They won't judge you, they're nice people."

"That doesn't mean I want them asking about it." Mercury muttered through her teeth and with a curt cut she remarked, "And if they're so nice why don't you go play with them instead."

Emerald narrowed her eyes as her friend was less than tolerable about this, so she just replied, "Fine I will." To which she got up picked up a beach ball and walked away. She made a b-line for Weiss and Ruby. And she made it halfway before she realized that A: she didn't know how to swim and B: had never had a conversation with these two before. This could go a number of different ways but she just wanted to walk back to Mercury, but when she turned back Eve and Arslan were between her and Mercury doing some obscene exercises. Monsters she could deal with sweaty woman with no shame was another thing.

Emerald was frozen in place until Ruby rowed the alligator over, "I think she is dead."

"Ruby!" Ruby wasn't listening when she grabbed the beach ball out of her hands and threw it at Weiss. Weiss didn't have enough time to block and was unceremoniously hit in the face. When it hit the water she immediately turned back to her leader and with a scowl poked her in the forehead.

"Is that all of your payback?"

"You'll see." Ruby scoffed as she was used to getting thrown or tackled into a wrestling match so this was nothing. Yet the Schnee had a most devious plan as she activated the glyph on Ruby's forehead and launched her off the croc into Emerald. Weiss didn't realize she hit Emerald as she simply gloated over Ruby, "And you thought I had nothing to torture you with."

Ruby climbed off of Emerald and said, "You are dead." She began chasing Weiss who was using the alligator as a means to escape. Emerald couldn't get up it was like the entire ocean was resting on top of her, was this the end could she make it or was she going to die in waste deep water. As she flailed her arms she was greeted with a single hand extending itself to save her. She took it hoping it was who she thought it was only to see Eve pulling her out of the water. Yet she didn't stop at helping Emerald up she fully picked her up and bridal carried her out of the water.

"Uh, thank you..." Eve didn't even react to helping her she simply went back to doing sit ups. Emerald didn't want to leave she at least wanted to talk a little but that would be weird right she was just airlifted out of the water by a tower of muscle.

"You should probably learn to swim before you run out too deep."

"How'd you know?" Emerald quietly questioned.

"Same way I know Weiss can't swim."

"I'm pretty sure she can-" Emerald didn't get to finish that thought when Ruby finally caught Weiss knocking her off the alligator and into the ocean. She claimed the alligator and sailed away without even looking back at the flailing Weiss. Eve just got up and went and got her too.

"Now just to be sure how many of you can't swim?" Eve prompted over the rest of the people there. Everyone focused on them and made Emerald one of the centers of attention. But much to her joy Trifa raised her hand drawing attention away from her.

"I was raised in a land locked desert and there was never enough water to swim in so I guess I can't."

"Anyone else?"

"Mercury can't." Emerald muttered causing all the attention to be drawn towards her partner.

"I don't know how and I don't plan on learning." Mercury said as she sat under the umbrella.

"I don't plan on making you I just need to know who to make sure doesn't drown on us."

"Oh," Mercury mused. As attention was drifting back to the two that have nearly drowned today Cinder prompted.

"If they can't swim then we should find something to do out of the water." This gave them all several seconds of pause before Trifa said.

"Well volleyball is always an option."

Operation volleyball was well underway as Trifa used her webs to convert her hammock into a net and setup the perfect place for a game. Weiss already had a ball in the house for some reason so they were set. They did volley ball by teams with Trifa as the ref.

"Well lets see who is actually the better team." Cinder said in a mocking tone trying to make it clear she didn't think much of them.

"You'll be surely disappointed 'Miss Can't Run a Mile'," Arslan taunted her.

"Shut up that's not a thing!" Cinder exclaimed.

"It really is." Eve got in on her too. While everyone was laughing at Cinder Jaune looked at Mercury who was wearing a cumbersome skirt that looked like it had been stitched just to be uncomfortable.

"You should probably take that off for this, to get you know, more maneuverability."

"I'm Fine." She muttered through gritted teeth with an intense glare in her eyes. He dropped it soon after thought not wanting to offend her or anything.

"Okay game ready." Trifa said raising a flag made form one of the beach towels and swinging it she shouted, "Start!"

Eve had the ball first serving it just over the net barely, she tried to tap it as gently as possible or it would have been launched to the other side of the beach. But it was immediately greeted by a nice blonde face. Bouncing of Jaune's face the fall flew back over the net right into Cinder's area where she gently tapped it back over the net. It lazily flew through the air but that just set it up for the perfect bomb as Arslan took that chance to practically leap over the net and spiked it down as hard as she could straight toward the ground. Ruby saw this and made the ultimate sacrifice, she pushed Weiss into the balls trajectory. It hit her hard right in the stomach and she recoiled a bit as the ball shot out of her gut and into the air.

Ruby knew she needed to get it to Eve but she also needed to get it over the net so she once again made a terrible sacrifice and hammered that ball right into Jaune's face. This one actually may have hurt but it sailed back over the net and went right to Eve. Eve hit it the most devastating way she could practically strong enough to send that ball to the moon but it landed much closer and hit Jaune in the face for the KO.

It bounced back into the air and while it was near floating Trifa said, "Oh my god one of you score already this is too much."

Emerald tapped it over the net to Cinder who followed the ball with her eyes until it ended up near Weiss who was glaring at Cinder. "Why didn't you get that?"

"Why didn't you?"

"Because it's on your side!" Cinder said as she was about to berate her teammate for lack of skill until when she looked down to see where the ball landed it was right next to her instead of Weiss.

"How did it..." Mercury just looked at Emerald knowing full well what happened.

"Point JAME!" Trifa declared.

"Wait to drop the ball Cinder." Ruby commented.

"Shut up we'll get the point back." She said calmly yet she could have sworn the ball ended up somewhere else.

They threw the ball over the net and Arslan teed up for her serve as she was about to send an absolute bomb Jaune woke up with a startle and murmured, "Huwat!"

This threw her off and sent the ball gently over to the other side to which Cinder trying to redeem herself jumped up and aimed to spike it. Yet poor Jaune sat up just in time for it to hit him again. Knocking him over and sending the fall far up into the air they had to act quickly, and since Mercury hadn't done anything in a while she jumped up over the rest over her team and went to kick the ball back at the other team. What she didn't account for was the skirt and how tight it actually was.

With as sharp rip she kicked the ball sending it flying. Not at the other team no, far across the beach. So far it landed over the bend of the beach, "Point RECW!"

When Mercury landed she was greeted by as hard thump against sand and a few seconds of unconsciousness. Not enough for any permanent damage just enough for the others to rush over and see her shame. But when she did wake she shot up to see Emerald right next to her looking a worried as the rest of them were looking at her legs.

The machinal legs where exposed to both teams and she she couldn't screech or cry all she could do was sit and hope. Yet what she heard was the most surprising thing.

"And you all complain when you see me naked." Eve dismissed, when Mercury looked up she was greeted by several blushing faces and Cinder covering Jaune's and Ruby's eyes with her hands.

"Eve you always walk out of the shower naked, your cloths don't get torn up causing you to be naked." Weiss stated.

"REALLY, AND YOUR NOT GONNA ACKNOWLEDGE ANYTHING HERE?!" Mercury shouted in indignation as if she was expecting more. Ruby's hand shot straight up.

"Are you the robot super hero Megatallic?" She said it and it was unclear if she was making a joke.

"Well if it's not something you want to talk about then we don't have to." Jaune murmured as if he was dying.

"You all act like you knew before this..."

"Well..." Weiss was going to comment when she was interrupted by Arslan.

"Once again showers after working out, you always leave far too much oil and grease in the bathroom afterwards."

"And they click sometimes." Eve added in.

"And during initiation when I was repairing your heel I felt the metallic leg above your boot." Cinder stated.

"Half of the magazines you read are for prosthetics." Weiss dropped.

"So I've been hiding this for essentially no reason." They all turned to each other and looked between them and they all collectively agreed.

"Yeah."

"Uh-huh."

"Pretty much."

"I told Jaune on the first day." Emerald ripped the band aid off at that.

"Yeah I think I scared her into telling me by accident."

"Great," with a mixture of a sigh of relief and mild anxiety dissipating she promptly tore off the tattered remains of the skirt, "well I guess I don't need this anymore."

"You probably shouldn't have..."

"You're naked from the waist down, don't worry this happens to me all the time." Eve says as she hands Mercury a towel. With a mild blush she wrapped it around her waist until she could get the rest of her swimsuit.

Before they could do that though Trifa came running with the ball, "I'm being chased by an ice cream cone!" They all looked to her to see she was being chased by Neo. Wait had they not left Beacon how was she here. Shortly behind her came running Torchwick as he shouted at both of them.

"I wanted one vacation and I get pelted by a ball from hell!" When he passed the teams he exclaimed, "That explains why I don't ever get to rest, my problems follow me wherever I go!"

They spent the entire day outside and it was just becoming twilight when they finally came in, they didn't make it inside when they all decided to decompress on the terrace overlooking the beach. It was lucky that Weiss had the forethought to figure none of them would want to make any food so she had Klein prepare a meal for all of them. Yet when they entered the house it became abundantly clear who was the least lucky of all of them. Weiss was from head to toe red, not a light shade either Ruby was jealous how red she was. They all had varying levels of tan but only Weiss was burned. Much to her chagrin, "I just don't understand how this happened I put the same amount of sunscreen on as all of you."

"Well your complexion is far paler than the rest of us." Cinder who was a nice crisp tan said while admiring her new complexion in a mirror. Weiss could only look over at Arslan who hadn't worn any sunscreen and she was just barely a shade darker. But she did have far more tan lines than the rest of them and was confused how she tanned at all.

"No I don't think you get it; I put it on whenever I saw one of you put it on."

"Well..."

"I replaced your sunscreen with tanning oil." Ruby said as she carefully maneuvered away from the newly red girl.

"Wha- Why!"

"Well since you are so nice, I thought you would not be too mad about it." Ruby said as she cowered behind the deeply tanned Eve. Weiss looked even more red as if she was actually about to get angry.

"That's hilarious. Why didn't I think of that it would have been the ultimate prank turning a Snowflake into a Strawberry." Mercury blurted out as took off one her leg and shook about a million pounds of sand out of it. Everyone joined in uproarious laughter at both the joke at Weiss's expense and the sight of a massive pile of sand being dumped out of her legs.

"Haha, laugh at my suffering. It's not like I brought you here for free or anything..." She mumbled to herself only to be surprised by the massive shutter doors splitting to reveal Klein.

"Well, well, well look what the midnight cats dragged in." Klein said in a gruff tone with red eyes. Weiss was bemused while everyone had a varying looks of either guilt, fear, or indifference in Eve and Ruby's case. But it didn't keep up when he began a sneezing fit and his eyes changed to light blue before he finally calmed down, when they turned green and he proclaimed, "I'm so glad you finally have friends to play with. I was always so worried that you wouldn't be able to make them with your frosty exterior. But it looks like that has melted."

"Weiss was never frosty, she tries to be but she can hardly ever keep a straight face. I can she gets that from you." Cinder told him. He just chuckled as his eyes turned pink.

"Oh, stop it you..." Weiss looked less than happy at Cinder playing with him like that. But he was more then glad when his eyes turned lavender and he fell asleep where he was standing. They all just had looks of confusion as Weiss just continued on her conversation with him.

"YES, I GUESS THEY ARE MY FIRST FRIENDS." She said loudly enough to rouse him but not a full scream. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and with a blink they where yellow.

"Well then I shouldn't let these very important friends of yours starve now should I?" He snapped his fingers and several butlers came out and placed treys of food on the large table in the middle of the terrace before scattering like mice into the wood works. On the treys was a massive pile of food, ranging from fish to steaks and vegetables to sweet fruit.

"Well I bid you all ado and a lovely evening," was all Klein uttered before disappearing himself. They all had their mouths agape at the massive pile of food in front of them. No one wanted to speak up first for fear of losing the bountiful harvest. But when the silence was finally broken it began the battle that was to come.

"Holy fuck."

"Language," Cinder said to her sister.

"What in the fuck."

"No. That's worse," Cinder corrected her sister again.

"Weiss, I have never been glad you are rich more than now," Eve said as she went over and taking a plate stacked as high as her head. Jaune just looked at it in shock as the rest of his team tore into the meal.

"Isn't this a bit much even for us."

"I said 'some food' not a buffet!" She cried out but that was quickly ended by Trifa jumping up to the terrace and hiding behind a deck chair.

"Don't tell her I'm here!" She exclaimed as she braced herself for the tidal wave of evil that was coming her way. They didn't even have time to get into battle stances when they heard the tap of a footstep coming up the path. Light taps but slow and methodical, as if whoever it was was trying to build their anxiety to give them the chance to have a heart attack before she could get up there. They where all incredibly anxious when Neo appeared umbrella in hand. Not one sigh of relief was heard however because whatever made her mad would likely be the death of them.

Trifa remained hidden behind one of the deck chairs while everyone remained frozen in place. It didn't help her as Neo looked between each of them before finally arriving at Emerald. She didn't move she just stared, and for Emerald that felt like an eternity. Well Emerald didn't have it in her to continue as she flinched and while pointing at Trifa uttered, "Please don't kill me!"

"YOU SOLD ME OUT YOU BIT-" Trifa didn't get to finish her sentence as she wacked Trifa in the throat with Hush. Trifa was trapped as Neo slid the hook of her umbrella around said throat and dragged her along. As she passed Eve she looked her up and before landing on the plate of food in her hand. She placed one hand on it and when Eve didn't loosen her grip Neo planted her foot into Trifa's back and and keeping Hush where it was began choking Trifa. Eve nearly immediately let go of the food which seemed to satisfy Neo as she loosened her grip and removed Hush from Trifa's neck entirely.

She walked off with the plate of food leaving the dead body of Trifa behind. They all remained quit as she descended the stairs and returned to the beach prize in tow. The silence remained until either the shock wore off or the absurdity just got to Cinder but she couldn't help but cry out, "What in the GODS GREEN REMNANT was that SHIT!"

"Language," Ruby said as she was freed from her shock and went back to her food. None of them checked on Trifa as they all half expected her to be dead or at least a vegetable for a while.

Roman was not happy, first found a remote beach town, packed enough supplies for the week, packed some more supplies because he forgot about Neo, then he 'acquired' a bullhead and he still managed to get hit in the balls with a ball the size of his head. When the ball from hell came out of nowhere it not only managed to knock him down but knock over Neo's lunch. He could probably have calmed her if it wasn't for the culprit looking for the ball. Neo took this as a chance to deal out prison justice so she was definitely going to shank that girl.

Neo was going on a rampage and he had been looking for her everywhere. They ran into a bunch of palm trees and began jumping between them like ninjas, and that was the last time Roman saw her for the day. As he followed her path of petty revenge she was dishing out it became frighteningly clear, she was definitely able to be his body guard, so why did she always let him get beat up?

He finally lost track of her after the chase led through the town, then to an airfield, then to back through the town, and finally back to the beach. He lost sight of her right away but was able to follow the carnage. So now Roman was walking alone back to the bullhead he parked on the beach to get his phone to call her so she can send it straight to voicemail. This was nothing like the mai tais on the beach like he had so hoped for.

How had those kids managed to track him down and ruin his vacation right away? It was infuriating, secluded island with only one resort which was on the other side of the island and no possible way for them to know that he was here. He had come to camp on the beach not even paying for the resort. As he was walking back down the beach he noticed the giant mansion on the beach, with white snowflake like decorations and plenty of white.

The Schnee girl owned the mansion.

That answers one of the many oversights he had today, but he just kept trudging along until he finally made it back to the bullhead. Where he was greeted by Neo dangling her legs off the bay of the bullhead greedily enjoying a plate the size of his head full of food. He had no idea where she got it and frankly he didn't care, he kicked one of her legs and questioned "Have fun today?"

She looked at him for a second, before putting a finger to her lip as if she was thinking before she nodded her head several times. He just rolled his eyes before going for a piece of meat and saying, "Well at least you got dinner."

She slapped his hand away and stuck her tongue out, "Aw come on, don't be greedy."

Neo scowled at him before she pulled her legs back into the bullhead and closed the door on him, "Don't be like that!"

No reply.

It was dark out and he had no source of light. It was dawned on him he didn't have the keys and the camping equipment was still in there, "At least throw me the tent!"

After everyone had their fill of food and Trifa had woken up the sun had been down for several hours and they were greeted by the emergence of the all the stars in the sky. For the sisters it was odd as they had lived in a secluded forest all their lives but they were close enough to a town that they had never just seen all the stars in the sky. They all just sat in silence watching the stars. Ruby leaned over to Cinder to ask her, "Do you think this is what mom was talking about when she said the wild was the best place to live?"

"No, I think people annoy her," Ruby was dejected by her sister's answer and when Cinder saw this she had to clarify, "Well family isn't people..." when this had no effect she continued, "And I guess this could have been part of it."

"I hope otherwise all the speeches about the strong protecting the weak would be be a lot less inspirational..." Cinder could only chuckle at her sister. Those speeches were meant for Cinder.

She still remembered when uncle Tyrian brought home that basket full of 'roses' well Cinder was really surprised when the roses turned out to be a baby girl. She didn't know what to do, she had been told not to touch the basket and yet she had to see it wasn't adoption papers for them to sell her off. And when it looked like the girl was about to cry she had to act quickly so she stuck the blanket covering the baby in its mouth hoping it would suck on that. That only muffled the cry but it was enough that no one else could hear it.

She quickly grabbed the milk out of the fridge put it in a glass and ran back to the girl. Dipping the blanket in milk and having the baby suckle on that is still one of Cinder's quickest thinking moments. By the time she was out of milk the baby was full and resting, and she did something she never would have thought of before. She picked up the baby and held it. She wasn't much larger than it 4 or 5 at the time (they never did figure out her birthday) so the baby was about half her size and yet that didn't stop her from holding it like her life depended on it.

She just sat there for several minutes rocking back and forth as the baby slept. Until it woke up, but this time it didn't cry it just stared at her, with it's bright silver eye. She immediately did not care for that shit. She was about to put the baby back into the basket when Tyrian and the newly minted mother of two made themselves known to her. The black haired woman just looked at the two children and with one last look at Tyrian she walked over to them and said, "She's your new little sister, do you know what that means?"

Cinder could only shake her head while the ravenette just continued, "No matter what you do, you must always protect her. Because that's the duty of the strong, to protect the weak," Cinder just stared at her as if she were listening to the gods themselves and with tears in her eyes she finished with, "And because that's what siblings are supposed to do; protect each other."

That was the first day in her life that Cinder remembers that day vividly as that was the first day she was apart of a family. While Cinder was lost in thought her sister wasn't and she had already put a glass of water on top of Cinder's head and was working a spoon into the semi conscious girls mouth.

Eve saw the pranks and shuddered, even if they were light hearted they didn't sit well with her. All she remembered of pranks was how many she had pulled on her. They started as water buckets on door frames to 'we put your fingerprints on the murder weapon'. All perpetuated by one person, he was always like that and the only time she hurt him by accident she had to make it up to him. It did leave a scar on his face and he threatened never to talk to her again after that, so as a stupid child she grabbed a knife and gave herself a scar over her left eyebrow. It's not like that made him forgive her. He was always so childish and conceited, but at times he made her feel special in a way she could never describe to anyone. She's glad she got away from him, yet she still misses him in a way.

Weiss was glad she wasn't Cinder, who was about to get soaked. If she ever did that to Winter she would probably have a trial and everything to prove how she was a bad child. All because father was so intent on making the company better for the family even if it cost him his position in the end. When mom decided it would be best if Whitley took over the company in the end, sure Weiss was masquerading as the Heiress but that was just to protect him from his already two assassination attempts, things with Winter just got more tense. Winter may never forgive them for taking it from her but Weiss didn't care; and if Winter wanted the position so badly then it's not going to come easy for her like everything else. But she'll likely just scream and have an outburst about it at a family dinner. Oh how things remain the same no matter how much they change.

When Cinder finally returned to the land of now she nearly choked on the spoon before coughing it up. But that was only icing on the cake when the glass toppled on her head dousing her in water, "RUBY!"

"Eve did it," She lied as she ran away.

After damn near 6 months I'm back. I could lie and say it was covid's fault but I had the time and ability to write I just didn't, so let me just say

My bad.

And now that I got a new job with plenty of down time I'll probably write more. I will be moving onto volume 2 relatively soon so look out. But I will likely be changing it more than the slightly different way I did volume 1.

I would just like to thank Daniil Altuhov for messaging me and reminding me that even if it's just a few, people actually like this.
