The CCT tower was massive, and Ruby was sure the day this fell over it would squash someone. However Weiss was unconcerned with this as she was instead listing off each of the great achievements it took to make the tower. Ruby was being bored to death as her partner was so determined to make this trip boring, "The superstructure was too large for concrete so they had to invent a way to mass produce steel to form the inner frame. This aided in the development of Vale as a superpower as they were making millions of lien in steel each day. Which required hundreds of thousands of employees to work, which raised the middle class and since housing was farther away they gave exceptional workers cars as bonuses and…" Weiss looked for Ruby as she got through most of the facts which probably meant Ruby ran away, "Having made it this far I'm sure she fled somewhere in the feudal revolution."

"I wish, then I would not know about how the prostitutes married into nobility and made light bulbs." Ruby stated more exacerbated than annoyed. Weiss was surprised her partner was still there much more that she had listened.

"Well they didn't make light bulbs, they were responsible for the fall of the noble class which led-"

"I know! I was skipping the middle!" Ruby said hastily as she wanted Weiss to stop making up facts.

"Well it is an impressive structure and the history-"

"History makes it seem like prostitutes built it! I can describe it in one sentence!" Pausing to stare Weiss down to challenge her to speak, and when she opened her mouth Ruby finished, "BUILDING BIG, MUCH AWE, WOW!"

Weiss clearly wanted to continue but Ruby had the look of someone who was on the cliff of emotions and was nearly at the edge of pushing someone off of it. She just remained silent as Ruby was giving the wide eye crazy look that most people associate with rabid animals. That was until Weiss looked up and mumbled to herself, "It's not just a building…"

"Alright, THAT IS IT!" Ruby began rolling up her sleeves as she was about to wring Weiss's neck but was promptly stopped when she saw a friend. May was wandering the tower grounds looking up about to walk over several people. Ruby called to her, "May!"

Her head snapped down and the single blue eye met brilliant silver. There was a second of pause before she turned her body while keeping her eye locked to Ruby before she turned that around as well and darted away. Ruby just looked to Weiss and said, "I gotta go. My robot friend is getting away."

"That's ridiculous. You don't have any friends," Weiss replied more curtly than she liked but Ruby just ignored it as she ran after the girl. Weiss just shook her head as the red blur chased after the poor girl. Coming to the CCT was Weiss's idea to begin with, she could have just made a call from their dorm and gotten the information. But no, she needed to see the massive and impressively constructed tower. Now Weiss had to make the phone call on her own, and her father would no doubt be worried about why he hasn't met any of her new friends yet.

In what could colorfully be called the most stressful drive of his life Jaune was sure Cinder had never passed a drivers test in her life. With the numerous rules she ignored and her general apathy towards pedestrians. But in a mostly silent drive Cinder did in fact manage to get them there in one piece. She parked right outside of an old timey bar that most would call manly, but after Jaune finished crying he had to ask, "Are we dead?"

"Yes, this is what the afterlife looks like."

"At least it was express delivery…" Jaune muttered as he melted into his seat. Cinder didn't give him time to recongeal as she pushed him out onto the cold hard incredibly welcoming pavement. Jaune just layed there for a second as he reconsidered his life choices until they came out his throat. Cinder just stood on the other side of the car as she watched Jaune void his guts, she was ever so polite as she gave him five minutes before telling him to get up.

"If you're done making sweet sweet love to the pavement, let's go."

"I'm fine, I'm fine…" Jaune said as he struggled to push himself off the ground. But when he regained his composure Cinder led him into the bar. If the outside yelled manly man Jaune was sure the inside was most certainly like the old fashioned huntsman bars his grandfather told him about. Gentlemen's clubs where they would go boast about hunts and smoke cigars while drinking copious amounts of whiskey and scotch through their incredibly thick mustaches. Cinder leaned over and wrapped her arms around one of his and told him the truth.

"This place is for men only, they only let women in if they are accompanied by a man. So you know; try to be a man for once in your life."

"I'll have you know, I've had plenty of men in my life- that didn't come out right."

"You'll fit in fine," Cinder muttered in a sarcastic tone before she continued, "but turn down the first drink they offer you. I'm sure you'll die if you drink it…"

"Why-" Jaune didn't get to finish as he was led through the front door and was immediately greeted by a scantily clad barmaid.

"How may I help you sir?" Jaune froze as he stared at what had to be the most translucent top he had ever seen, Cinder took notice and leaned over to whisper into his ear.

"Ask if Port's in, and if you don't stop staring I will-" Jaune's face turned bright red as she began listing off terrible punishments that ranged from castration to the ever lovely image of having to sell his body to older business men.

"IS PORT IN!"

"He just arrived, which means you're just in time for one of his patented long winded stories." She pointed them into the bar proper where Jaune was greeted with an old fashioned smoking room and more barmaid's. The first one that noticed him immediately rushed over and offered him a drink.

"Would you like a drink?" She had on her tray what seemed like a small glass of brown liquid. If his reading of this place was accurate then there was no telling what it was, just that it was some form of alcohol.

"Suuure…" not wanting to be rude he accepted much to Cinder's shaking her head annoyance. But he was not ready for her to take the glass and pour it into her chest. She formed a small cup in the place Jaune wasn't supposed to look before she alluringly motioned for him. Cinder just stared him down, daring him to do it as Jaune made a game time decision.

"Sorry, I'm driving. I actually got it for her." He motioned to Cinder who went through a plethora of emotions ranging from pride in not doing it to rage for passing the ball to her.

"Well I don't usually do this with other girls so she's in for a treat. Or I guess you are sweetie." She said to Jaune as she held her chest in front of Cinder, who also had to make a game time decision. Cinder scowled at Jaune who had that smug look of superiority sure she would back out, before she turned back to the barmaid. Cinder firmly planted her face into the shot finishing it immediately before she pulled her face away. Jaune was unsure what he was supposed to feel but the barmaid just looked nonplussed like she had done that for every member in here. She walked away with a fresh lipstick kiss on her chest.

"That was-"

"You can drive stick right?" Cinder cut him off as she wasn't going to acknowledge what she just did. Jaune at a loss for words nodded as Cinder stole a drink off the tray of a passing barmaid, "Good, because I'm pretty sure the drinks here are upwards of 50% alcohol."

On the docks Eve and Trifa were greeted by the intense smell of fish. One would think that they would schedule a meeting in a place that smelled better considering most Faunus have heightened senses. Trifa was able to shake it off as she walked but Eve was having trouble, even being only a mile from the fishing docks the scent was intense for her. Trifa didn't take notice and only started talking when they ended up outside a suspicious warehouse, "I think we're here. Now all we have to do is sneak in and gather intel."

With massive red flags that set off every single one of her spider senses Trifa was sure this was the place. Eve motioned towards the clearly undisguised White Fang members leading other Faunus into the murder dungeon. Eve however already knew it was as she had been following White Fang symbols the entire way, "It is and if you look down you'll see them recruiting."

"I knew that. I was just checking if my sidekick-"

"Not your sidekick." Eve interjected as she walked over to the goons. They looked over the two girls before they handed out two of the masks. Getting in was easy getting out would no doubt be more difficult.

Ruby chased May through the streets of Vale as she refused to stop when yelled at, "May! Stop! I just want to talk!"

"Father always says that then he yells at me and threatens to dismantle me." May cried over her shoulder as she ran. If Ruby wanted to stop her then she needed to get creative. That's when Ruby witnessed a child stop in the middle of a street, and like all dumb little children it was in danger as a truck came barrelling down the street. Ruby was tempted to let natural selection play out but she groaned as she had to help the little idiot. Ruby darted into the child knocking it out of the way only to realize that she was stuck in the path of the truck, "Great. Now I get to be pancakes."

Ruby mentally prepared for the heat as she accepted her fate. Only to be disappointed when she was instead greeted by a robot tackling her out of the way; her plan worked flawlessly. May had returned to prevent her friend from becoming dinner for the crows. Ruby however was never one to give pause as she immediately wrapped her limbs around May to prevent escape, "Now you have to talk to me."

"That is only if you can hold on." May said as she began to raise her arms breaking Ruby's hold. Ruby however just let go and employed the friendship bracelet Cinder got for her and Weiss. Ruby quickly cuffed herself to the robot and with an unsympathetic look replied.

"If you do not tell me what is wrong, I will go through town yelling about a robot girl." May stopped trying to break free as she had a look of shock as her friend already knew what she was.

"How did you know?"

"It is obvious with the whole incredible strength and missiles in your forearms," May just looked stunned as the girl was incredibly tuned to what she was, "It does not matter how much of you was rebuilt from scrap, all that matters is that the human bits make you one of us."

May gritted her teeth as she looked away from Ruby as she had a guilty conscience. Ruby however saw it and looked over her again before she asked, "Lost a few limbs?"

May shook her head, "Rebuilt from a mangled body?"

May shook her head, "Body completely destroyed with only a brain being kept in a suit that looks like your old body?"

May shook her head this time answering, "First completely artificial person capable of generating an Aura."

Ruby took it well as she looked over the actually a literal robot girl, "Ah nuts. Weiss won the bet."

In the elevator to the top of the CCT town Weiss organized her thoughts as she was about to see her father. It was the first time she called since arriving so he would no doubt have several million questions. Like how was she doing, has she made any friends, has she been eating right. It was going to be exhausting. But when the door finally opened she saw the mostly in use tower being watched by the secretary, "Hello, how may I assist you today?"

"I need to make a call to the Schnee dust company. Can you connect me?"

"I certainly can. Would you like me to connect you to the help department, the sales department, the complaint department, the death threats department, job applicat-"

"No wait, never mind. Can you just activate a terminal for me." Weiss had forgotten about the whole automated system they recently installed so she would need to go direct.

"I most certainly can," She sang as one of the terminals activated behind her, "Please follow the lights to your terminal." Weiss sighed as she walked around the secretary to her terminal. It would be easier to ask the company directly but she doubted that she could get the information through the eight layers of tax evading corporation. She pulled up her scroll and linked it to the terminal she had the choice of people to call. Ranging from Whitley, Klein, Father or even her mother and sister. No doubt Winter is busy on a mission and Willow is busy with running the company. She had to suck it up and call her Jacques.

Weiss selected her father and dialed. A few rings to check who it was then he would rush to pick it up to interrogate his own daughter. So Weiss just sat there waiting. As it rang several times. Then several more and before she knew it a minute passed and the call went to voicemail. That's never happened, why hadn't he picked up? Had he been taken? Was he running from the mob? Weiss panicking quickly backed out to call Willow.

Even if they didn't like each other Willow respected Jacques and his devotion to his family so she would pick up to tell Weiss if he was missing. But the same thing happened, several rings before it was sent to voicemail. Weiss at this point was panicking when she called Whitley. If he didn't pick up she would get on the next flight to Atlas and save her family. Ring ring, "Hello?"

"Whitley! Thank goodness I was worried!"

"...What?"

"I called dad and he wasn't picking up, then I called mom. Same thing. What's happening? Where are they? Do I need to come protect you?" Weiss asked rapid fire as on the northern part of the world Whitley was beginning to put together what had happened.

"Weiss, everything is fine."

"Then why didn't they pick up?" Weiss was frantic and confused until Whitley sighed and activated the camera on his phone to show that he was in bed.

"Well I don't know about the time difference but it's 9 here."

"Ah, yes I forgot how early we used to go to bed…" Weiss was embarrassed as she had called right as everyone was either asleep or getting there. But her parents usually stayed up a little later to do adult things like read and drink...

"And mom had a very stressful day, so she took dad and-"

"Too much!" Weiss interjected as her cheeks turned bright red only for Whitley to get a smirk.

"They promised me a little brother."

"Ah, now that image is stuck in my head…" Whitley however found the suffering of his sister to be funny as he chuckled. Then Weiss joined in as lightly as she wanted before she asked him, "Why was mom's day so stressful?"

"Well along with usual dust shipments getting stolen, a few shipments of paladins the Schnee dust company was transporting went missing. So she had to validate the contract to Watts personally. That put her in a mood and it was only helped by me getting accepted to the Vacuo Community College of Liberal arts," Weiss gave a side look as she was sure Whitley was going to the Atlas College and Military School for Business Warfare. That name left a lot to the imagination, "I know but I still had to apply for at least 3 colleges, so I thought it was funny at the time."

"Of course you would find that funny…"

"Well where did you apply? I'm sure you didn't think, 'I'll only apply to Beacon because I'm sure they will let me in.' That's not how the world works for normal people Weiss."

"Whitley…" Weiss said as softly as possible when she looked him dead in the eyes, "You're rich. You don't have to apply for some middle of nowhere institute since it's guaranteed you'll get accepted to the prestigious ivy league school dad went to."

"Dad went to VCCLA," There was an awkward silence as she had forgotten about that little tidbit of their father. Weiss immediately sprung to action when she pointed out.

"Like I was saying you don't have to go to the same backwoods school dad went to. You can go somewhere better."

"Nice recovery. Dad and I are going to tour the campus just to spite you now."

"No, don't you'll get mugged!"

"I can't hear you. You must be breaking up. KZZT -hat ar- CHHHEE -eiss the conec- BCEEE."

"I can see your mouth moving." Whitley paused to think over what he was going to say next until he arrived at the answer.

"Then I'm hanging up."

"Wait! Love you." Weiss had to get the last laugh as he either had to say it back or burn in hell for not loving his family.

"...love you too." Whitley said through a mild shame as he hung up. Weiss was refreshed having talked to her family, but he also pointed out that Willow was under more stress because of what the White Fang was doing. This meant that they had been a big enough pain to warrant a meeting about as well as some groveling to Atlas. This did not bode well.

After 3 drinks Cinder was starting to understand why Tyrian didn't drink when he brought her here. It also became fuzzy as she was having trouble standing, If only she was capable of cooling things with a touch instead of heating them. Cinder was practically Jaune's third leg as he carried her through the club to where Port was beguiling the regulars with his stories of daring do, "There I was surrounded by a hundred Boarbatusk, a thousand Beowolfs and a single Ursa. They were all sure that I would fall but I gave them the old one two and gave them a dirt nap."

The crowd clapped several times but Jaune was just confused as to how only two hits brought down eleven hundred and one Grimm. He kept it to himself however Cinder didn't, "*hic* Bull."

"I'm sorry fair sir but if you would take your floozy and be on-"

"HE is NO FLoosY, This is JAun and She wAs there! *hic* He tol me taht the Ursle came out AFT-er Poor here so ValiaNTly tooks down the rEst. IF it werEn't for Jane her, He'd be URSA Dung by now." Cinder interjected a fabricated story but they all just looked to Port to check if that story was true. When Port didn't immediately reply they all began to question not only the girls story but the older member as well. Jaune took it upon himself to perpetrate the lie.

"Well it's not like I was on that hunt as well. I just so happened to pass by to witness the aftermath," Jaune said through fake confidence and his teeth, "But I did see the shirtless form of an exhausted Port wrestling an Ursa to the ground. I'm just glad I was there to get it before it got the upper hand." At that they all sort of agreed with what was said as it was likely that Port was too tired from fighting the other eleven hundred Grimm. Port was gracious with the story only for after all the regulars dispersed did he actually show his true face.

"Are you kidding me? If they found out that story wasn't true they would have kicked me out of the club faster than you can slur a response. Is that what you want Cinder?" Port said quietly to the now sitting Cinder.

"Yesh *hic*." Cinder clearly had no tolerance to alcohol and had even less of a reason to be in a club where the lightest thing to drink is the battery acid from the jukebox. Yet she was still determined to pry as she question in a loud whisper, "Por wha have you herd bout teh Wide Feng?"

"All I know is that the internal power structure is falling apart and new factions are splitting out every day now," he whispered it to her but he was sure he was telling it to Jaune to tell her later.

"WHADA bout teh Fail vacteon?"

"You're twisting my arm on this one you know that right. I can't just give out free information-"

"WHO WANS TO SEE POoRS MOST RESCENT CONQUEST!" Cinder shouted to the rest of the club, it drew several eyes and caused Port to actually open his. He was hysterical as he had nothing to tell them and she was drawing their attention.

"Okay, okay. All I know about the Vale faction is it is recently under new management now please tell them something! Anything even." Cinder placed her hand on his thigh as she looked him dead in the eyes.

"I take it you don't know who is in control," she whispered as she stuck her fingers in a glass of ice water sobering her up a little, which allowed her to come to as he was shaking his head subtly. The rest of the members began to swarm them as he pleaded one last time.

"Please."

"POr Got MARRRRED." Cinder sang out to the club as she took his hand and showed the ring on his finger. The rest of the members just sighed and moved back to what they were doing before as they didn't care about such trivial things, "Who is OOblecke by the why?"

"He's doing fine, the multiple doctorates are keeping him busy…" Port just wiped the sweat away as Cinder ordered Jaune to pick her up.

"LEGO!" Picking her up was easy keeping her stable was another thing, but Port just watched as Jaune struggled.

"Douse her in some cold water son or she will be an even bigger handful."

"Thanks I guess…"

"You sure do know how to pick em'. I'd be wary of her, she tends to be more fiery than she is worth."

"I didn't pick her," Jaune muttered as he dragged her to the front of the club where he was greeted with the bill. He took it in stride as he asked for a cold bucket of water to be added on as well. The barmaid gave it to him as he dragged Cinder to the front of the building. He may not get a lot of revenge but this time he would at least get some.

"So you're sure it doesn't matter that I'm a robot." May asked the shorter girl.

"Oh no, it matters." Ruby confirmed which made May shrink back as she was self conscious only for Ruby to inform her, "Do you know how long I wanted a robot best friend?" May had a hopeful look as Ruby counted on her fingers.

"A while. Granted the first attempt to get one left a scar on Cinder, but since then I have waited for the robot best friend I always wanted."

"Really?"

"Yeah," Ruby took May's hand, as they were still cuff, and walked only to stop when they witnessed the display of the new Atlesian Knights. As they kicked down the old knights to replace them as the new great protectors. Ruby always thought they looked too lifeless and the new ones did not improve on that at all. They looked more like a newer version of the same old product with a different paint job. It's like those annoying new scroll releases that happen every year with the thousand lien price tag. That also explains why it's so hard to get a hold of mom as she only has a landline she never bothers to check, at least they can call Tyrian if they ever need to get bailed out. What was she doing? Oh right May, "How long do you think before it is a bunch of you up on that podium?"

"Uh, a while..." May was instead focused on the guards who had noticed her, "We have to go." May proceeded to do a one-eighty and drag Ruby along as she ran. Ruby tried to calm her but it was hard when every other step she ate gravel.

"May! Why are we running?"

"I'm not supposed to take walks." When Ruby heard that she righted herself and picked May up before activating her semblance and running through the alleys until they were safely out of the way when Ruby collapsed as she was out of energy. May not having much time panicked and broke the handcuff on her wrist, picked Ruby up and tossed her in a dumpster just in time for the goon squad to arrive.

"Ms. Zedong, you're not supposed to run off like that."

"Oh really, I was just taking a walk."

"Where is the person you were with?"

"Oh she is trash and left." May said as Ruby peaked out of the dumpster. They locked eyes as Ruby gave both the approving she lied for me look and the did she just call me trash look. They led May away as Ruby climbed out of the dumpster.

"Cinder is gonna be so jealous."

The White Fang rally was unexpected. Half of the people in there were wearing full White Fang outfits while the other half were wearing civilian cloths having not gotten their uniforms yet. Still the masks they had handed out managed to make the crowd of civilians look more conformed as if they were ready to join the terrible regime. Trifa was sure that this was some sort of cult after putting on a mask that blocked 90% of her peripheral vision. When it looked like the warehouse had filled up they were hushed by the people on stage. It remained silent for several minutes until out walked the unexpected.

"Of course it had to be her..."

"All right listen up you beasts!" Out marched Glynda in all her dominatrix teacher glory. She had the look of a teacher who wasn't paid enough to care but still showed up to get paid, "I'm only going to say this once. Thanks to your boss we have come to a mutual arrangement," The crowd murmured as they were less than happy about the idea of working for a human only to be silenced by when Glynda continued, "They have decided that we will be working together and sharing resources. I personally would rather steal an army of the tin soldiers they manufacture, but I've been told you are more free thinking and capable of improvising when the need arises. That remains to be seen. But without weapons you will get nowhere fast."

If the crowd was curious they didn't show it. As they chose to remain perfectly still until Glynda moved over to the massive tarp that had been on the stage the entire time. With a flick of her Disciplinarian the tarp flew off to reveal not only a cache of brand new Atlas weapons but one of their new Paladin's as well. Glynda didn't bother with any of it when she turned back to the crowd, "We have the weapons your troops so vitally need and are willing to supply you; if you are willing to work with us."

When the crowd witnessed the cache of weapons they all began chattering among themselves in anticipation, "Now all you have to do is come and heel."

They quickly began to follow her lead as they moved to the front like it's the army Recruiter in 1941 and Pearl Harbor was just bombed. Eve and Trifa remained still as the other civilians began to pass them. But the ever vigilant Glynda noticed them out of the crowd, it was easy since they were the only one's not wearing bland t-shirts and jeans, and told one of the Lieutenants on the stage, "I'm about to take off, make sure that the new troops get to base quietly."

Glynda stared Eve down right before she snapped the Disciplinarian in her hands. Trifa saw this and commented, "We gotta get out of here."

Eve darted her head around looking for an exit while in the mask before she locked onto the lights, "Not without getting her!"

Eve aimed Blush up at the light system and let off a shot. Trifa could swear that they were in a middle school instead of at a cult rally with all the screaming that came afterwards. Eve didn't waste time as she jumped over multiple people on a mad dash to the stage, however when the emergency lights came on Glynda was nowhere to be seen. The Lieutenants began to swarm around her and as Eve placed a hand on Wilt she knew something was wrong, "I knew I would need this today!"

Eve turned to see the Paladin powering up before it turned to her, "So many choices, lets see if they can finally fry up this sow!"

"Aw, my enemies usually do 'squash this bug' but whatever." Trifa now in her real mask shot a web at Eve. Eve was swept off her feet as Trifa pulled her out the window. Glynda however was determined to fry Eve when she jumped out the window and charged down the street knocking over cars and lampposts on the way. Eve and Trifa ran across the roof tops as Glynda chased. Eve was the one to finally ask the real question though.

"Do you think she'll stop!?"

"They usually don't until I destroy the giant weapon!"

"How are we gonna do that then?!" Eve shouted as they ran for there lives through a screen of gunfire and missiles.

"You have friends right!"

Weiss was both happy and annoyed from the call but on her way back to the dorm she received the most peculiar call, "Help! *ZZZZ* Giant Robot! *ZZZZ* CHASING *ZZZIP*"

And the call was dropped. Eve never watched giant robot movies so that was a weird way to say her date was going poorly... Team RECW was on a mission! How had she forgotten. Weiss quickly pulled up the tracker as she went chasing after Eve.

"Help! *ZZZZ* Giant Robot! *ZZZZ* CHASING *ZZZIP*" As Ruby listened to it she wished that she had brought May to have robot vs robot action but alas she could go without.

"Help! *ZZZZ* Giant Robot! *ZZZZ* CHASING *ZZZIP*" Jaune listened to it as a wet Cinder chugged a coffee. When she finished she went for the water right next to it and finished that off as well, "I'm not sober enough for this, but it'll do!"

"I mean... It's Eve. What are the chances that she can't handle it and wrecks half the city?" Jaune said as he looked at Cinder. She just lowered her head and raised her eyes giving him the just do it look. He sighed as he was sure he would regret it when she yelled at him.

"Get driving Vomit Boy!"

Eve didn't know how the Paladin was capable of running 60 mph but it was comfortably gaining on the semi she had hitched a ride on. Trifa was swinging between highways and overpasses on what can colorfully be described as a snakelike path of nonsense that cars navigated every day. The Paladin however was focusing on Eve as she cut most of the missiles it fired out of the air. Trifa circled back around to get behind the mech only for it to begin firing chaff as soon as she got close.

"It always has to be me who swats away the annoying pests!" Glynda taunted as she finally got to the truck that Eve was on. Eve didn't bother moving as she faced the giant head on intent on slicing it to pieces. The Paladin had other plans when it raised the Gatling gun to her, Eve raised her Wilt in defense only to be surprised when the elbow flipped out and turned the gun into an arm. It delivered a devastating right hook that was meant to knock Eve off the truck only for it to shake. Eve kept her feet planted firm as she dug them into the cab as she held the block.

"Is that all you got!" Eve taunted as Glynda grinned sure that it wasn't.

"Not in the slightest." She raised her other arm to reveal the Gatling gun on that one. Trifa however was not one to waste time as she swung around and planted her feet into the left arm as it opened fire. Instead of the bullets hitting Eve they carved their way through the truck and cut off the part Eve was standing on. Trifa shot a web at Eve and pulled her from death only to land in the bed of a pickup truck.

"What do we do now?!"

"I though you were an expert at taking apart enemy machine's."

"I lied, I usually have something to do with their construction. Which I exploit to completely destroy them!" Eve turned to her with a quirked eyebrow.

"Are you some sort of evil genius?"

"Hero work doesn't pay the bills and I have student loans!"

"How old are you?!" They continued to bicker as Glynda disentangled the Paladin from the truck. She was fed up with those two but would get even more fed up when from behind she was getting chased by a red muscle car.

"Hold it steady!" Cinder said as she was aiming a Midnight bow out the window.

"Well I would if you hadn't threatened me about scratching your car!" Jaune said as she let an arrow fly loose. It hit the mark and stuck itself into the hull of the Paladin. Only for nothing to happen.

"Come on I hit it! Explode or something!"

"Maybe if you hadn't hit it with the most ancient weapon known to man!"

"It's not like I have anything bigger than that in this..." Cinder paused before she finished that sentence when she opened the glove box to reveal a gun and a box of dust crystals, "Not another word." She took the dust crystals and began crafting them into arrow heads. She climbed out the window again and let off another arrow this time with the tip made of shock dust. It hit it's mark and Glynda slowed as her systems cycled.

Glynda turned to see the car chasing after her and with an angry grunt fumed, "They always spawn behind me when I'm in the middle of something." She simply turned one of the cannons on them and began firing a barrage. They swerved but the car still took several shots. Satisfied with that Glynda turned her attention back to the front when she was suddenly blinded. Trifa celebrated as she had just blinded the giant with a web ball.

"Bullseye!"

"I didn't get hit in the eye, what are you talking about?" Trifa was tired of Eve as she jumped out of the truck and thwipped a web. She prepared to swing into the Paladin to knock it off balance only to get swatted out of the way.

"Did she really think that was the only camera?" Glynda questioned as she charged Eve's truck. Weiss from one of the overpasses saw what was happening and jumped down. When she landed she created a giant Glyph that spread a full sheet of ice on the highway. The Paladin hit this sheet and unable to stop or slow slid right off the freeway down below.

Weiss walked over to the edge and looked down to see if it was still functional. When it remained motionless she debated fleeing versus it getting back up and having to fight it. She never got to make that decision when Eve rushed up from behind and tackled her off the edge. Cinder and Jaune pulled up and saw the hole as Cinder situated the unconscious Trifa in the back seat. Cinder got out and told him, "Get out of here the cops will be swarming soon. I'll call you when we get released for a pickup."

Jaune wanted to question her but he never got the chance when she jumped down after the others. Ruby was there waiting as Eve and Weiss dusted themselves off, "So I take it everything went to your plan exactly fearless leader?"

"Absolutely."

"And it's not that you rushed here without looking up to realize where we actually were?" Cinder said with raised eyebrows as her sister who was just providing the scowl of someone much taller. Ruby never got the chance to reply as the Paladin stood up and called out to them.

"If it isn't the sow it's the red hood. At least all the thorns in my side are in one place to be pulled out."

"We'll see who gets pulled off!" Eve declared as everyone turned to her as she raised her sword to the paladin.

"Wanna try that one again?" Weiss tried to mitigate the embarrassment of the taller girl only to be shrugged off.

"No I'd rather fight!" Eve was about to charge when Ruby stepped in front of her.

"Then we fight together! Red Bull! Cold Murder!" Ruby called out the team moves that they had set up, granted that probably meant that they would lose since they had hardly any practice together but they still tried it none the less. Eve and Ruby darted forward as they let off a sheet of bullets at the Paladin. When they got in it's proximity they darted to opposite sides of the machine. Glynda tried to focus on both of them but she was at a loss when Ruby kept firing while Eve stopped. Glynda focused on Ruby and tried to crush her with the empty left Gatling gun. But Eve finished blocking the bullets Ruby was firing and slid under the Paladin's arm and activated Moonslice. She cut the left arm of the Paladin off entirely.

"What is this! Have you been planning that since the beginning!?" Glynda began panicking as Eve lined up with Ruby.

"Why did you not cut it in half?"

"If I did that then I'm sure I'd cut Glynda in half in the process," Eve stated as she slid Wilt back into Blush. Ruby swapped the magazines in Rose Blossom as she prepared for what came next.

"Ready!"

"Took you long enough!" Weiss made another Glyph turning the ground into ice once again but this time Cinder spun a dust crystal out of her sleeve and threw it to the ground. Creating a massive fine steam that covered the area.

"Frostbite, Falling Petals!" Ruby called from the mist as Eve and Cinder swapped positions. Cinder and Ruby rushed the giant intent on using the mist as cover for more nefarious plans. Ruby and Cinder split up but as Rose Blossom fired several times the Paladin blocked the shots and immediately whipped around to pick up the other sister.

"Did you really think a little fog would stop the sensor's from finding you? I can see you and your little friend."

"That was the plan!" Cinder called from the ground with one half of Rose Blossom. Glynda was sure that she had gotten the older one but when she looked in the Paladin's hand she saw Ruby. Ruby just gave a thumbs up before activating Petal Burst and escaping from her hand. Ruby was sure to leave a gift of a flash dust crystal. All the monitors in the Paladin went dead for a second after the flash leaving Glynda blind. Cinder took this opportunity to run through the legs of the mech and jam her hand into the back of the knee on the right leg. Tossing Ruby Rose Blossom Cinder activated Scorching Caress heating the joint to its melting point. It would take too long to melt it off but they had a trick up their sleeves when it got hot enough Ruby fired gravity dust at the mech to knock it off balance. Glynda had no time to react when she nearly fell on her back only to just barely catch herself. But it was short lived when the right leg of the Paladin shuddered and collapsed.

"Oh this isn't good."

"It never is!" Eve said as the fog broke to reveal Weiss had summoned a Beringel and Eve had hopped into it's hand, "Fire!" Weiss made the Beringel throw Eve like a ball. Eve prepared to hit the mech by grabbing Wilt and Blush for a draw strike. The problem was timing and since Weiss had angled it so Eve would go over she only had one chance to get the hit. Eve activated Moonslice on the way making all the color seem to fade from her leaving only red and black. Then within inches Eve drew and sheathed Wilt in what seemed like a second. But after her velocity fell and she tumbled to the ground. As she tumbled the last arm fell off at the shoulder which caused Glynda to sigh.

"Why is it always the red idiots that are a pain! Now I have to deal with this personally." She cracked open the canopy only to come face to face with Ruby.

"Hi! Remember me? You just barely got away last time." Ruby said as she raised Rose Blossom to the older woman's chest.

"What are you gonna do commit a crime and lose your spot as a hero?"

"Not if it's self defense." Ruby said as she raised her head and with wide eyes looked down on Glynda. Glynda had the thought that if she wanted out of this alive she would have to move soon but she never got the chance when Ruby just chortled and said, "Nah I am just kidding."

"I knew yo-" Glynda didn't finish her thought when Ruby shot her with several shock bullets. Her aura may have been up but 12 million volts could put anyone down Ruby didn't care who it was. Ruby pulled the unconscious body of Glynda out of the cockpit and threw her down to the pavement. Eve walked to the front of the suit covered in a few scrapes and bruises to see. While Weiss walked over and inspected her.

"So that's that then. I guess you could say she really gave us a full metal beat down." Eve and Ruby looked at her and shook their heads but much to Weiss's joy Cinder walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Dat wa TUReABLE." Before she threw up on Weiss. Ruby just shook her head, Cinder must have had a drink and since she used her semblance it allowed the flow of alcohol even after she had sobered up.

In one of the Atleisan ships Watts paced through it as he had just received the most interesting present. In the form of a nicely tied up Glynda Goodwitch. He kept all her limbs bound in a aura suppressing cell. He walked in to see a frazzled Glynda with her bun undone, shirt torn and glasses missing. When he entered she looked at him and said, "A blurry mustache, how wonderful."

"I would be more accommodating, but that's the pesky thing about telekinesis you can never be too safe."

"Oh yes would you like me to stroke your ego, and let you test your new fool proof aura suppressing method on me," she looked him over as he shook his head at the aura suppressing before she continued, "Or can we just quit comparing di-"

"There will be time enough for torture later. I will however give you one chance here and now to confess, and tell us who is pulling your strings. If not then I'm sure we can work out a fool proof torture schedule."

"Oh please you already know who's pulling my strings, Ozpin is. But that doesn't help you, and my only other co-conspirators are goons he picked off the street that have hardly a brain cell between them. I hardly even bothered to learn their names." She told him everything he wanted but she didn't know anything bigger than that for a reason. When Watts wasn't satisfied he just took to clicking his tongue to say so more.

"Well I do hope that your tongue is looser after the torture."

Yang sat watching the news in their new secret hiding place after they quickly abandoned the other. After Glynda had gotten caught they scrambled to find a new hiding place. Yang was just waiting for Ozpin to tell them about his plan to break Glynda out. But when he exited his new office Yang turned to him for him to say no such thing, "While the loss of Glynda is tragic we will continue moving forward with the plan."

"You're kidding right? Who's gonna corral the Faunus now? I don't know if you know this but the plan heavily requires their help to work!" Yang yelled at the ambivalent Ozpin.

"I know, that is why I decided to promote their leader to join in the plan."

"What? That chuckle fuck couldn't lead his way out of a paper bag." Yang said as she glared at Ozpin.

"Well tell me how you really feel." Yang heard from in front of her. When she turned back there was a tall black cat standing over her. He was wearing a a black vest with a white shirt on underneath along with black skinny jeans. But when she looked at his face Yang was certain he was insecure as she looked at his face to see the purple winged eyeliner trying to draw attention away from the eye patch on his left side. He was pretty like a little girl, but he was way too forward when he put his hand on the couch right next to her and leaned in. He had a lecherous look in his eyes and within moments he was too close to her face, "We both know that I'm stunning now all we need is for you to fall in line behind the rest."

"Sorry I prefer my men to actually look like it instead of whatever lady boy you are. Like I said this idiot is going to ruin the plan." Yang stayed stone faced as she stared down the man but when she told Ozpin her concerns he was more than apt to answer it.

"While I understand your concerns, Blake is the only one that can lead them right now. So you two will at least play nice. Am I understood." He said the last bit as if it were a challenge. He knew they would fall in line but on the off chance that they don't they would be dealt with swiftly. He walked away without hearing their answers.

"Yes," they both muttered to themselves causing Ozpin to crack his head full 180 and stare them down.

"Yes what?"

"Yes, sir." He righted himself as soon as they finished and continued back into his office. Leaving Yang and Blake alone.

"Wanna do it?" Yang inquired causing Blake to lean in even further.

"Sure, I haven't have used bandit in a while."

"Great, I can check bestiality off of my list." They stared each other down daring the other to take the first move.

It was morning and after a night of answering questions for the police in between throwing up Cinder was beat. She just wanted to go back home and go to sleep. So when they were finally released she was glad Jaune was waiting for them at the car. What she wasn't glad about was the lecture they received via phone call from Roman. He laid into them about vigilante justice and due process. Then he congratulated them on catching Glynda before he told them he left their punishment up to Neo.

Cinder didn't care because after a long day of classes followed by drinking way too much then a quick jaunt into adventure she was exhausted. She crawled her way back into bed and was prepared to skip class for the day and suffer punishment later. But as they got back to the room Cinder didn't even open her eyes as she peeled off her cloths and climbed to where he bed was. Jumping up she found her bed was much softer now being made out of air and then harder when it was the ground.

Cinder shot up twitching as she looked to Ruby and asked, "What did you do too my bed?"

"Neo got creative with the punishment..." Ruby said as she pointed Cinder to a wooden sign that said in big bold letters, 'NO BEDS FOR A WEEK!' Cinder about had a conniption when she saw that so she just collected herself in a descent and presentable manner before she turned out the door and walked across the hall. Jaune had just returned and greeted her at the door.

"How was your night?"

"Great, let's sleep together." Cinder uttered as monotone as possible. Jaune turned a little pink before he figured it out.

"I would, but I think we'll have trouble right now..."

"No we won't, just don't think about it too much," Cinder said as she pushed her way in and was greeted to the meditating form of Arslan along with Emerald and Mercury getting dressed. What she didn't see was beds but there was another sign, 'NICE TRY SMART ASS!'

"Nooooooooooo!" Cinder screamed to the world as she knelt down hammering the ground. She kept it up for several minutes until the hammering stopped and was replaced by snoring. Ruby peaked in to check on her sister and when she found her like that she commented.

"She can practically fall asleep anywhere. I cannot blame her for this one though since Eve just fell asleep in the tub. It is gonna be awkward when I take my shower over her..."

Well that wasn't hard, it only took me a couple of days and I said I would be done by the one year mark. Just remember I am full of it.

So anyway that's the end of volume 2 and I am skipping the breach arc. You won't lose much as this isn't the start of Volume 3 but the start of a different arc that I will come up with.

I will probably work in the motivation speeches the characters give from the breach arc somewhere in here though. Oh right the dance arc... That will come much later than originally.

I also can't wait to see how people react to Blake. That will be fun.
