Ziva returned from the Navy yard and quickly made her way to the bathroom to check the scales.

Ziva sighed, the frustration and impatience quickly overshadowing any feelings of joy. Exhausted both physically and mentally, she quickly changed and climbed into bed for some much needed sleep.

Back in Autopsy Dr Mallard, was compiling a folder with what he could find of Ziva's medical records. He had the reports from when she was in Bethesda after coming home from being held captive by Saleem. But none of these reports mentioned her eating disorder. He had already been on the phone with Katrina to let her know of his involvement in her treatment and also to get her perspective on Ziva's state of mind since she had been treating her for the last 6 months, and had gotten to know the young Israeli quite well. He needed as much information about her past as he could get, because getting Ziva to open up was going to be a challenge.

Tony and Tim had finished up the cold cases for the day, and had managed to find a few leads that led to nowhere. They were both exhausted and just about to head off home when Gibbs reappeared from MTAC. Both agents immediately dropped their bags in case there was something their boss wanted them to do, but Gibbs simply stated.

"Go home, and get a good rest. I think we all need one."

The boys grabbed their bags and practically ran into the elevator just in case Jethro found something else that needed to be done. Once they had both gotten to their cars they waved goodbye, hoping to get some rest before tomorrow, because if they were stuck doing cold cases again, then it was going to be a long day.

Ziva smiled at herself as she started to dress for work. For now, the scale was dropping and she was pleased but also impatient at the same time. She just wanted the number to go lower and lower. In truth she wanted to see how far she could push her body, and she also wanted to see just how far she could push the rules imposed on her.

Ziva arrived at the Navy Yard 0500. Seeing the piles of cold cases on both Tony and Tim's desk, she grabbed a small pile from each and began going through them, looking at old evidence, chasing leads. It was a task she usually hated, but this morning it seemed oddly calming.

Gibbs arrived at 0600 and gave Ziva a curt nod hello, pleased that she had started the day's work. He knew that she needed to be in autopsy with Ducky at 0700.

Gibbs watched Ziva intently, waiting to see if she was going to follow the rules on her own. The clock signalled 0700 hours and still there was no indication that the younger agent was going to leave for autopsy.

"Ziva, with me lets go" Gibbs barked, watching as she slowly stood up. Grabbing her arm, he walked with her down to autopsy and practically handed her to an expectant Dr Mallard.

Ducky handed Ziva a gown, and then walked to the entrance of autopsy silently locking the door, which had almost become a ritual when Ziva was with him.

He turned around to find the young agent sitting on an autopsy table, her head in her hands as if she was resigned to her fate.

Ducky had decided a lecture was in order, but after seeing her face and the anxiety written all over it, he decided it could wait for another day.

After examining her body, and taking the now daily bloods, he asked Ziva to step on the scales for him.

Ziva smiled a small smile which was not lost on the ME.

"My dear, this is not something to be proud of. I am fully intending to hospitalize you if you drop below 100, and that was no idle threat."

Ziva blushed with a small "I'm sorry Ducky"

In reality she had no intention of stopping the weight loss, and was fully prepared to take whatever means necessary to keep losing weight, and hide it from the older man.

Ducky shook his head sadly. He could see where this was going, and he knew that this wasn't something he was just going to be able to "fix."

Tony looked up from the cold cases, to see a very energetic and smiling Ziva David, bouncing towards her desk. Both Tim and himself, knew that she had been "ordered" to see Ducky every morning, but he certainly wasn't expecting this reaction from her.

He was still trying to convince McGee to hack into the autopsy database, so they could find out was wrong with her.

"Are you ok Tony?" Ziva asked, watching her fellow agent. Tony had been staring at Ziva since she had come through the elevator through the bullpen. "Yeah I'm fine little Ninja, how was Ducky?" Tony asked, eyebrows raised.

"None of your business Tony" Ziva replied coolly. She did not want anyone else to know what was going on. It was enough that Ducky, Gibbs and Jenny knew.

Tim watched the pair as they exchanged words. It was obvious to both of the male agents that something was seriously wrong with Ziva. Ducky didn't order mandatory medical checks for just anything. The only time that any of the team had to see Ducky regularly was when they had been injured on a case.

"Ziva, you know we are here for you. You can talk to us about anything" Tim said gently. He didn't want her to shut them out, but he knew her well and yelling wasn't going to get them anywhere.

"Of course Tim, but I am alright. Ducky is just well-being Ducky. There is nothing to worry about." Ziva replied smiling.

Knowing that there was no point prodding any further, the team put their heads down and started to work.

"Go home, there's nothing more we can do for today" Gibbs barked. It had been a long day, and the team were getting nowhere with the cold cases. This frustrated him to no end. He wanted more than anything to be able to provide the families with some closure.

"David, conference room 1. Do not dare run." Gibbs said in a low voice, before walking out of the bullpen.

Ziva dropped her bag on her desk angrily. What did her want with her now? She had behaved all day, she had done nothing wrong!

Stupid man, what does he want NOW? He should just back off already.

Deciding that it was her best option to listen and obey Gibbs order, Ziva stalked down to conference room 1.

What she didn't count on was opening the door, to find Ducky, Gibbs and Jenny sitting around the table, looking up at her expectantly.

Ziva turned to run out of the room, when Gibbs caught her arm and in the same low tone he used earlier said "sit down now, David."

Ziva slowly turned and sat down. She kept her face blank, but on the inside she was terrified.

What have I got myself into?
