Custody
I can't remember who asked for this prompt now so sorry about that, it seems to have got deleted!
CS: You've asked for that before. My answer is the same.
"Are you really sure about this?" Mary Margaret asked her roommate. She had already asked Emma several times since she had made her plans known to her, but she hoped this might be the time she'd get through to Emma and make her see sense.
"Of course I'm sure." Emma snapped back. "You think I'd be going through with all this if I wasn't? Regina is an unfit mother. You know that as well as I do. There's a reason the kid sees her as the Evil Queen. I might not have been who was best for him when he was born, but I sure as Hell am now." Emma said with determination.
"Emma, you can't just do this to spite Regina because the pair of you are butting heads at the moment. This is Henry's life we're talking about here. If you're really serious about fighting for your custody rights back, you have to be one hundred percent certain you can handle this. Motherhood is a twenty-four- seven job, Emma. There will be no going back this time." Mary Margaret reminded her. Emma's eyes narrowed.
"You really think I'd be going through with all of this just to spite Regina?" She hissed. Mary Margaret stayed silent. She really did. Emma was angry, and people do spur of the moment things when they're angry. "I'm doing this because I'm who's best for him now. Archie will support me, I'm sure about that. I'll make a deal with Gold so he delivers my case. He seems to be willing to do most things for a deal where he can get something out of it. I'm going through with this, Mary Margaret. For Henry, not for any other reason. And there's nothing you, or anyone else, can do to stop me." After that, Emma stormed out the house. Mary Margaret sighed. Right now, she wasn't certain either Emma or Regina had Henry's best interests at heart.
