Jian stepped out of the car as she eyed the entrance of the Lotte World. She sighed in disbelief as she turned towards Hyeon.
"You're sure you up to this? This place is bound to be loud, full of kids and all other sorts of things you disliked. And you need to get into some of the rides too, it's no fun if you don't join in. I'm sure Min would want you to get into the excitement as well," Jian started to say.
Hyeon smiled cooly. "I could make some exception once a while. Besides, if it could just cheer you up a bit, it would be enough... and I suppose it won't hurt to join the crowd once a while. We could even forget about Lee Junyeong for the day."
Min laughed as Jian looked as if already mellowed down by Hyeon's sweet words. "I mean, this was a very spontaneous trip after all..." Jian said as she waved her arms over the entrance. But Min could tell that she already started to cheer up. Sure enough, Jian started to smile.
"Ah... hmmm," she started to exclaim, rolling her eyes at them. "I had to agree that not thinking about Lee Junyeong for the day sounds fun. That shit better realize that our lives don't need to always revolve around him!"
Hyeon laughed. "Being spontaneous wouldn't hurt once a while, I agree," he said before shrugging to himself. Suddenly he recalled Lee Junyeong's words about telling him to continue chasing after him. To not forget him. And to never give up trying to catch him. Somehow it amused him at the thought of the three of them doing this out of spite, by ignoring that person that affected their lives so much. Kinda childish too, like indirect bullying by kids against the person they hated. To make the person feel insignificant, not worthy of their time.
Even better if that person was still watching them—even now—only to find that instead of hunting for him, the three of them just decided to spend the rest of their days having fun without him.
What a good idea!, he suddenly realized. To think that he suggested that idea on a whim, without thinking... but this was exhilarating!
"You know, I used to do a simulation of this," said Jian dreamily as they joined the queue for the tickets.
Hyeon shook himself from his daze as he turned to see Jian talking to his brother. "If the three of us had lived differently, we might still be able to find each other. We'd most likely be able to get along well, and we could have spent our free times together going to places like this—That should be fun!"
Hyeon cocked his head towards her. "You even did a simulation on that?" Min also stared at her face blankly, as Jian made a face at him.
"You bet I would! Why? Were you curious if I ever made a simulation on how should I beat you up?" she started to argue back, just as the reached the end of the queue. Min immediately pulled Jian over to the nearest available counter to avoid getting hit by the detective.

To be honest, he wouldn't really mind being in loud and crowded places like this. The reason why he was apprehensive about it before, was because loud people would have interfered with his moment of tranquillity. In which he had always imagined in his mind that his father and Min were still around by his side and continued to spend time with him, doing mundane everyday activities. But now that he had Jian and Min around, there was no need for him to crave for such solitude. Why would he, when the people he loved were actually by his side? And not just a figment of his imagination?
"Hyeon! Come on!" Jian called over as Hyeon hurriedly joined them at one of the park's popular attraction.
While I doubted people would still be following this fic, I might as well put this up.
Initially I got stuck on this chapter because I'm not sure how to plan the whole adventure at the park. I mean, I already look up all the data on the park and the attractions. But afterwards I ended up pushing this update far in the backlog. But luckily, I already written this much last time so I only needed to brush up a few parts before posting this.
So there you go. It's a bit short than what I initially planned. But then again, I haven't actually planned any heavy plot to conclude this fic. And honestly I lost the drive to continue this chapter in favour of my more recent ongoing works.
