I do not own MHA

Due to exploding a mine in Katsuki's face, Frost won the race. While it might not be fair, she was very happy that she'd won. Given the way, she was dancing around the boy and laughing she had no shame over that fact. Darting away when he tried to tackle her, she hid behind Shoto who seemed more amused at her actions than anything else. Class 1-A was spread out on the grass watching the three as they waited for the other classes to finish the race. It had taken a while for Iida to calm down too, but he'd eventually given up on scolding Katsuki who just didn't care. Even the business class students who'd noped out of the race were watching them closely. They were also writing something down on their clipboards and whispering in hushed voices.

Glancing up at his father, Shoto frowned for a moment but disregarded the man completely when Frost sat down behind him. Sighing he followed her action as Katsuki simply fell onto the grass between Ochaco and Kirishima. Mic had only announced that the other students were free about five minutes ago, so they had time to relax. Momo had even made some picnic blankets for them all to sit on. Falling back, Frost grinned as she laid her head on Kaminari's lap causing the boy to freeze.

"Um... Frost why am I your pillow," he asked slowly. Glancing up he withered under the piercing gaze Todoroki was sending in his direction. While it wasn't a glare it was close enough that he knew the other boy was unhappy with the situation. Feeling a bit threatened he looked away and tried to focus on the girl in his lap rather than what could be a rapidly approaching death. Ojiro laughed in the background as Shinji mentioned something about the next stage.

"Yes, why," Shoto mumbled. He wasn't jealous he just wanted to know.

"Because you're my sparky blonde jester," she said. What she didn't say was that Izu was currently panicking from secondhand embarrassment or that she was going to run out of time in the next two minutes. She had no doubt that the second her other half regained control she would leap away from the blonde. From the way Izu whined, she was completely right.

"Alright," he said accepting her words easily. Despite the pout on Todoroki's face, he would deal with anything if Frost asked him to.

"We must make a plan!"

Iida's yell echoed around them as he began pacing. Stress working its way onto his face as he worried about the second stage much to their amusement. They all knew that they already had a plan, but apparently in his stress, Iida had forgotten that fact. Chuckling, Frost shifted so that she was laying on her side. Even without Katsuki telling her she knew that Kaminari was the first person to accept her. He'd known she wasn't Izu and yet he'd wanted her around anyway. Besides Katsuki, Toshi, and her mom, he was the first person she'd accepted into their Pack.

"Denki, thank you," she whispered just loud enough he could hear her. Closing her eyes, she felt him run a gentle hand through her hair even as she began to fade into the background.

"Anytime," he said softly. He didn't know why but he could tell when the girl stopped being Frost and started to become Izuku. Dropping his hand as she launched herself away from him with a red face, he allowed a small smile to appear on his face. While she might tolerate him, Izu just didn't have the same easy friendship with him that Frost did. Turning away from the girl, he didn't notice her frown until she laid out a hand to touch his shoulder gently.

"Hey, can we talk once the festivals over, just the three of us," she asked.

Even her tone was different; nodding slowly he gained a small smile in return before she was turning her attention to Todoroki. In truth, he didn't know how he felt about Izuku compared to Frost, but he did know that he liked the golden-eyed girl more than her green-eyed counterpart. Straightening he stood as Mic announced that the other students were almost to the finish line. Around him, his class did the same with Katsuki moving to stand at the front of the group along with Iida and Izuku.

As the disgruntled students packed into the stadium, Class 1-A drew together. Closing ranks around the three leaders of the class, they returned the glares sent at them with their own. The other classes had started this fight not them. They hadn't wanted to turn this into a war, but they were going to. This was a fight that they didn't choose, but they would win and show that their class was not to be underestimated.

Watching her little girl tilt her head back defiantly, she couldn't help but smile even with the uninvited house guest sitting next to her. She'd never seen Izuku, because this was Izu, not Frost, look so confident. When her little girl stood there so proudly beside her classmates, she wanted to cry and cheer at the same time. Hearing the young man sitting beside her chuckle, she stiffened but never took her gaze from the screen.

She had no idea why he was here but having him in her house, sitting on her couch felt like she was betraying her daughter. He'd just walked right in through a swirling black portal like he owned the place and she'd been unable to stop him. Clenching her fists out of anger and frustration she hated that he was in her house and had been since the second the sports festival started. He'd been surprisingly quiet during the first stage but the comments he did voice had made her severely uncomfortable.

"Looks like it's dear Izu not Frost in control," Shigaraki said. The tone sent shivers down her spine even as her face twisted in anger. He shouldn't even be speaking her daughter's name much less be using a nickname.

"Don't you dare speak about my daughter in that tone," she snapped without caring if he could kill her. The only thing that kept her from slapping him was the gun aimed at her by the black fog villain.

"Dear sweat Izu gave me exact same look when I killed her classmate," he told her with a grin. That had been one of the best days of his life. Watching her flinch away from him he asked, "I wonder what look she'll give me when I kill you?"

Looking away from him to her daughter on the screen she flinched. She could faintly hear Midnight explaining the second phase, but she wasn't listening. Every instinct in her body screamed that she was going to die today. There was simply no way that she would be able to overpower the young man sitting beside her. Keeping her eyes on her daughter she knew that Izuku would be devastated to lose her mother.

Her little girl had always been so quick to love. Izuku could forgive anyone for anything no matter what they did to her. But it had to be done to her. She'd watched Izuku take abuse over the years only to snap and retaliate when it was someone other than herself getting hurt. Her daughter would break, but Frost's reaction would be worse. Her wild child had always been ready to attack at the simplest provocation. She knew without a doubt that Frost wasn't nearly as tough as she pretended to be, and in a way, her wild-child was much more fragile than Izuku. Her girls were amazing, but they were still children. Her children.

If Shigaraki's objective was to hurt them, then killing her would be the best way. God, she hoped that Toshi would take care of her babies. She couldn't stand the thought of them being all alone in the world. However, they wouldn't be alone. Whatever happened to her, she knew that their classmates would be there; Katsuki would be there. Shigaraki might succeed in hurting her baby girls, but he would never be able to break them. Nothing he did, nothing he said, nothing he threatened could overcome the Pack that her babies had built.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you yet. It would be a shame if you didn't get to see your daughter in action," he said unaware of the thoughts running through her head. Giving him a glare, she tried to focus on her daughter.

(Izuku)

Having the eyes of the other students on her would have been terrifying if not for the steady grip Shoto had on her shoulder. Sinking back as Katsuki snarled at them, she glanced toward Iida who was pushing up his glasses. How he made such an action intimidating wasn't something she would ever be able to understand. Her headband would be worth ten million points; from the rumbling chuckle Frost gave her other half was happy not to be the one in control. Flickering her eyes to Midnight, she wasn't surprised to see the wicked smile on the woman's face. She'd totally done this on purpose.

"Change of plans," Iida stated as he turned his back on the other students. He didn't care that this was a teacher's decision; he was tired of his class being targeted. If the other students wanted to take Izuku's headband then they were in for a nasty wakeup call. At the confused looks his class sent him he said, "I've decided that I want this to be an overwhelming victory. We're going with plan B for the Calvary battle."

"Yes!"

Sero's shout was followed by exclamations of excitement from the others as they realized that this was their chance to go wild. Even Koda had a smirk on his face; given he was the kindest student in their class that was saying something. Plan B was the no holds barred attack plan that Iida himself had come up with. It was supposed to be just something to appease Katsuki and their other aggressive classmates, but he was annoyed. Iida knew that he didn't have the best relationship with Izuku but he wouldn't allow the other students to target her so easily. No one targeted his classmates and got away with it.

"That's awesome," Hakegure said brightly. Tugging on Ojirou's arm she almost shouted, "With our three powerhouses in the tournament we won't be able to lose!"

"I'm on that team too," Tokoyami mumbled. Turning away from his classmates with a pout he pretended not to see the way Uraraka covered her mouth to hide a chuckle or how Sero grinned. He might not be one of the powerhouses, but he was strong too.

"We know honey, it's okay. No one is forgetting about you," Asui said patting him on the back. There was sarcasm in her voice, but the words made him feel a little better.

"I know that was sarcastic but thank you," he said. Before he could say anything else, he was snatched away by Katsuki who drug him over to Izuku and Todoroki. Much to his amusement, Izuku seemed to be freaking out.

They knew that not everyone would be able to enter the final stage. That was fine with them, even if only one of them made it they had a chance of winning. This strategy wasn't geared toward winning or having the most people pass as possible, it was simply a middle finger to the other classes. Getting in their groups, class 1-A knew that this wasn't something any of the other classes would expect. After all, if they wanted their four strongest members to move on wouldn't Iida be one of them?

Todoroki had been chosen because like Izuku and Katsuki he was a powerhouse; it would take multiple students to take him down or even get close to him. Tokoyami had been chosen because with Dark Shadow he was one of the faster teens in the class. Also, after the ice wall went up, they would kind of need Iida on this side calling the shots. He was the class leader, after all, they would need him in order to defend the tournament team.

Laying her hands on Shoto's on shoulders, Izuku glanced around her eyes meeting Monoma's. The familiar sting of pain she felt caused her to look away. She still wanted him to apologize and go back to being her friend, but she wanted to punch him in the face more. There was no excuse for what he said, and she would give him a chance to take it back. After she or her classmates kicked his ass. Meeting his eyes once again she tilted her head back challengingly.

Hearing the call for the event to start, she gripped Shoto's shoulders tightly as they rushed to put distance between themselves and the other teams. Most of the teams were stopped by the other four teams her classmates had made. Those that weren't were forced to retreat when Shoto slammed his foot on the ground. A large wall of ice sprouted and separated the corner they'd retreated too from the rest of the arena. It was crude, but it did the job well.

"A shocking turn from class A! What will they do now that their three strongest are behind a shield of ice," Hizashi said. Keeping a grip on the mic he watched the other classes try to surround the wall only to be forced by the other members of class A. It was the teamwork factor of class A at work again and going from the expressions of shock in the audience it wasn't something they expected. He wished that he could say the same, but he couldn't. His boyfriend had been not so subtly bragging about his kids for the last week. At least now he knew why.

"Four," Aizawa corrected when he saw Tokoyami's shoulders slump. While the boy might not be as flashy as the other three, he was still powerful.

"Wh-"

"The four strongest are behind that wall, not three," he said. Seeing the boy straighten, he was glad that his bandages hid his smile. His kids had been working on these plans for over two weeks. They were amazing and talented. Just forgetting even one of them was a sin.

"Right four! I definitely meant four," Hizashi corrected. He could have sworn he just saw Aizawa smile.

They were safe from the other classes and given that the wall wasn't that thick they were still able to hear their classmates. According to Iida, the tournament round was the most important and four of the strongest had to make it no matter what. They were chosen to be those four. From the calls and shouts about how unfair the situation was the other classes had discovered that fact as well. Hearing the shout that they were cowards, she flinched.

"The only cowards are those that mock the death of a classmate!"

Mina's shout echoed as she shifted. Her team consisting of Kaminari, Sero, and Ojirou tensed at her words. Well more at the fact she'd hit both Kaminari and Ojirou when she waved her hands wildly as emphasis. Ducking down to avoid her hand Sero never took his eyes from the other classes who froze at her words. There were only forty-two of them on the field, but he knew everyone in the stadium had most likely heard her shout.

Aizawa froze, was that why his class was doing this? Had they been mocked about the death of Mineta by the other students. Feeling a low growl rumble in his chest, he decided that the little brats were lucky he was still bandaged like a mummy. Why hadn't they told him about what the other classes were saying? They shouldn't be dealing with this alone. They were his kids, the only class he'd grown attached too, how could they not come to him. Seething in rage and worry he wasn't all that shocked when Hizashi laid a wary hand on his shoulder. He didn't shrug the man off like usual either. His kids had been hurting for two weeks and he hadn't known. Whispering something about him being a horrible teacher, he closed his eyes only to snap them open when one boy had the great idea to retaliate.

"That was weeks ago get over it!"

"I want that student's name and class within the next five minutes," he hissed. it wasn't possible to just get over the death of a classmate nor was it possible to forgive those that mocked them for that grief. That little brat was getting detention for the rest of the year. He didn't care if it was a blatant show of favoritism; no one mocked his kids and got away with it. Glancing at Hizashi who quickly moved to follow the order, he wondered if the man would forgive him for legally adopting nineteen kids, or maybe he could just put the dorm system up for a vote again.

"Fuck you! You bastards came into our classroom and verbally attacked us! You started this fight, by declaring war on us, we're just giving you what you deserve," Jirou shouted despite the fact her voice cracked. They weren't the bad guys here. Feeling Hakegure squeeze her shoulder she tried to calm down. She could hear Sato promising to make a good cake when they were done with today, but she wasn't actually listening. For two weeks, they'd sat there and suffered through the whispers of the other students who had no idea what they were going through. None of them had any idea how terrifying the USJ was. They had no respect for the fact Mineta had died. It was obvious that none of them understood anything.

Breathing in a shaky breath as Koda reached out to pat her arm, she turned to Iida. The apology she was going to utter for snapping died in her throat at the murderous glare on the class reps face. Luckily it wasn't aimed at her but their now nervous opponents. He was angry, she'd never seen him this angry before. Instead of being afraid, she relaxed and glanced around at her other classmates. The look of absolute rage was shared by all of them.

"For weeks we've listened to you whisper behind our backs and it stops now. If you want past us then you must beat us, but you shouldn't have much issue, right? After all, it can't be that hard to beat us, we're so weak that a villain was able to kill one of us," Iida said coldly. He was more than prepared to deal with the glares and whispers. He could deal with it, but his class couldn't. More than once he'd seen Aoyama shut down at lunch or Asui rush off to cry in the bathroom. He was done watching them suffer simply because some arrogant pricks couldn't see past their own noses.

"Still so arrogant," Monoma snapped. He could feel Kendo shrink slightly under the glares coming from class A and hated it. Even Tetsu was a little intimidated. Only he was allowed to mess with his class. He'd been right that class A was nothing but egotistic little rats that had no idea how good their lives were. So, what if some people were whispering behind their backs? It wasn't the end of the world and they shouldn't be freaking out about it.

"You are Monoma correct," Momo asked with a polite smile. Her fingers itched to create knives and throw them at the boy's face, but she pushed it down. When he gave a nod, her smile turned toxic as she said, "please note that class 1-A is in agreement that you are our target. Well one of them."

The words echoed around them as the other students realized how badly they'd messed up. Maybe going around spreading rumors about the USJ hadn't been a very good idea. The ice-filled glares of the teens in front of them were almost an exact match to a wounded animal. It was obvious now that class A wasn't treating this like a game. They were treating it like a war. Remembering the announcement from Bakugou the other students shared an anxious glance.

"If you want to get over that wall, you'll have to get past us," Kirishima announced. The wild grin he wore was filled with sharp teeth as he dared them to make a move.

"And we won't make it easy."
