Never forgive

64thVanSul asked for a oneshot of Emma and Regina having a talk with Henry over how he treats Zelena after she turns good. He yells at them for letting her even live when she's responsible for his dad's death. Snow reminds him later that Regina is responsible for her father's death yet she forgave her. Major 5b spoilers and minor discussions of a sexual nature.

"I cannot believe you would even ask me to forgive her!" Henry barked. Emma and Regina were completely taken aback at his attitude over the situation. It was completely unlike Henry. "I don't care that you think she's changed. I'm not giving her another chance. I won't forgive her. Have you all forgotten she's the reason that my dad's dead?"

"Henry, nobody's forgotten anything." Emma said, trying to calm the situation down. "I loved your dad too, but I can forgive her."

"You haven't loved my dad since he broke your heart." Henry spat. "You don't care that he's dead. Just like I wouldn't care if Zelena was."

"Henry." Regina cut in, appalled at how he was behaving. "You asked people to give me a chance even though I had hurt them and their families. Now I'm asking you to give my sister, your aunt, another chance to show you that she has changed…"

"She's not my aunt!" Henry bellowed. "How can you forgive her since her idiot boyfriend is the reason Robin is dead? Since she raped him! I wish she was dead." Henry snarled before getting up and storming up to his room, slamming the door behind him. Both Emma and Regina got up to go and speak to him.

"I'll go." Snow said quietly, getting up herself. "I think I can empathise a little more here. Don't you think?" She said, giving a small look to Regina. Regina nodded guiltily, sitting down. Emma followed suit, although she watched her mom apprehensively as she went up.

Snow knocked on Henry's door.

"I'm not speaking to either of you until you regain your sense!" He shouted. Snow opened the door and came in.

"Well it's just as well I'm not either of your mothers then, isn't it?" She said quietly. She waked over to his bed. "May I sit down?" Henry shrugged, so Snow took that as a yes.

"You're just as bad though." He grumbled. "You think I should forgive her too. Otherwise you wouldn't be up here." Snow smiled.

"You've always been a smart boy." She said proudly. "So at least hear me out before you bite my head off too." Henry stayed silent, allowing Snow to speak.

"I know how you're feeling." She said simply. "You've read my story, Henry. You know that because of your mom my father was murdered. She may not have been the one controlling the snakes, but she was just as much a part of his death as Sidney. She caused the curse that brought us all here and meant your grandfather and I couldn't see your other mom growing up. I know the pain and anger that you're feeling about Zelena right now. I'm here to tell you that it will eat you up inside unless you let it go. Look at me, look at what I did to Cora. Don't let the anger consume you. Be the bigger person. Zelena has changed, Henry. Holding her to her past won't make you feel any better about it. You wanted me to forgive your mom and give her a chance to show us that she could be good. It wasn't easy for me or your grandfather. But we did it, both for you and because it was the right thing to do. Now we're asking you to do the same thing for Zelena." Snow explained. Henry sighed and looked up at the ceiling. He still didn't feel entirely happy about this.

"Don't expect me to sit next to her at family dinners." He mumbled. Snow smiled

"That's a deal." She promised. She got up and walked back to the door. "You can come down when you're ready, Henry. I'm proud of you. I know this isn't easy." She praised him.

"Yeah." Henry sighed. His grandma was right. This really wasn't going to be easy. But he would try his best to be pleasant towards Zelena and give her the benefit of the doubt. For his family.
