Breaking bail

A guest asked for a oneshot of *5b spoilers!* Emma keeping Henry so when Cleo tracks her down she lets Emma go when she realises she has a small child as she doesn't want Henry to lose his mother.

EmmaHenry: I don't think that would really change how the scene would go all that much, sorry!

I had dragged my ass across the deep south to find this one. She was a slippery one, alright. But even the best can't hide forever. She may have used umpteen fake names for herself and her boyfriend, but eventually I tracked down Emma Swan to an address in Austin. She'd bumped around the Lone Star State for a while it seemed before settling in its capital city. I had only just missed her in Houston before she moved on to Dallas. But she wasn't getting away this time. No, I had her pinned down now. She was definitely staying in this trailer park. I felt kind of bad doing this job. She must really love this guy she was with. No matter what their fake names were, they always seemed to share a surname. She must really like this one. Poor girl. But I had a job to do and food to put on my table. Emma Swan had broken the terms of her bail and I was bringing her back to Phoenix.

I crept up to the trailer I had been informed the pair were staying in. I was going to have to wait and pounce or else I risked them running. They seemed to be good at that. I crouched down behind the back of the trailer and waited. They had to come out eventually. It didn't take long before I heard voices at the door.

"Mommy, I want to be Henry again." A little voice complained. My heart seized in my chest. No…it couldn't be, could it?"

"I know buddy, but we need to keep our game up just a little longer. So I need you to be a big brave boy and keep pretending you're called Tyler Moore. Ok? For me?" It was. That was why the guy she was with always shared a surname with her. It wasn't her boyfriend at all; it was her kid. Nobody had mentioned a kid being in the picture to me. I peered carefully around the edge of the trailer as Emma carried the little boy out.

"I wanna go to bed." He complained. "Tired."

"I know little dude, soon. Mommy needs to get the groceries when it's dark so…so I can still be a ninja." She lied.

"Can I be a ninja too?" He asked excitedly. I saw Emma smile at him and nod. This seemed to placate him.

This was really my moment now…but I couldn't do this. I couldn't be responsible for that little boy losing his mom. Sure, she had clearly made some mistakes, but she seemed to be trying her damned hardest now. Who was I to take it all away from her?
