Here it is! Four days late...but at least I'm publishing. I forgot this week was only a four-day week because of today being a holiday-and Monday being one too-so I had a lot more work than I usually do. But, I will have a bunch of time to work on this fic during this four day weekend, so I might be able to publish two chapters. I'm not going to say I will because I've learned in the past three weeks that real-life likes throwing rotten fruit at you when you have to do stuff. But, here it is. It is short, but Sunday's will be longer, that much I can promise. I wanted to publish a chapter. Ooh, and I love the beginning. I had so much fun writing that. Okay, so, reviews!

Sisters Grimm4ever-The fanfic chapters do always feel a little iffy. But I really enjoy writing them, they give me a break from the real story when I'm getting serious writing block and I'm feeling bored with the story-not the most patient person in the world. Also, thanks!

Zay Zay- Thank you, I aim to please. I love writing Henry protective, I have like a million unpublished fanfics in Google Docs that are centered around Sabrina's father being super protective. Hmm. Death threats, yeah, a real mystery. ;). Unrelated to this story but related to your review, I love Nancy Drew! I do apologize that I didn't update on Monday, uber-busy week, and I know. I've been writing so much that in like texts and reviews on here I've started talking like that.

M-Thank you for reading my update. And I'm glad you did. Yeah, it really blew to be bedridden for three days. Anyways, I feel great now, which is good considering my school workload.

Sistersgrimmfan-What are you doing reading fanfiction in class, young lady? Just kidding, I've done that before. I make people smile with my work! That makes me so happy! Thank you.

Emily-Thanks. I'm sorry, sickness has the worst timing. Happy Thirteenth! We're officially the same age! It does stink I didn't update on the fifth, that would've been a birthday present. Well, since it was supposed to be on your birthday consider this chapter and the last late birthday presents.

Curlscat-Excuse me, I have just finished fangirling. You read my story!? And you liked it! I love your stories! I've been reading them for a year and a half! Okay, I'm better now. Ahem, so, your reviews. Trust me, they'll definitely have some realizations throughout the books. Daphne/Red...I've read fics with that pairing, they're really cute but I kind of like the sister dynamic between those two that I've always written. Your second review: She did go through a lot for being so young. I always did like her, though. Third review; the bad thing about not owning the books. Fourth review; She really does, I always found their interactions in the books hilarious. Fifth review; They were, but they were also kind of deserved. I didn't update for eight months, not even a peep. Sixth review; She was and she does have a good reason. Seventh review; Yep, I had a couple of reviews asking about the laptop so I had to show them. Eighth review; you reviewed a lot. Anyways, I write like Sabrina has kind of put her pain in the past and she can look back on it without feeling it. Ninth review; it does, even though I'd like it not to interfere. Tenth review; Yeah, only with Puck, though. You won't catch her doing that to anyone else. The eleventh review; Thank you, I just feel bad about saying I'll do something and then not. Twelfth review; Alright, I wasn't really sure and didn't want to be sued or anything. Heh. Thirteenth review; Yeah, my mother and I are short so we know the struggle. Yeah, now that I think about it...if the Sisters Grimm were real-I mean they might be I have no idea-then it would super creepy. And here it is, hope you enjoy it!

Ookay, now I'm done with my reviews(and the story is considerably longer, sheesh) I'll let you read my story. I hope you enjoy it!

...

"You think..."

It was only seconds after she'd begun to read before Veronica interrupted her.

"Wait, we should read the legitimate version of that fanfic—since you said it was a real scene."

"Oh, no, we really shouldn't." Puck interjected.

"I agree with fairy boy."

"Now we have to." Jake said simply.

"Jake!"

"Yes, I'm fully aware that I already know what happened through deceit and trickery but no one else does. So….let's do it."

"Sabrina, what book?" Henry inquired simply.

"I ain't telling."

Daphne, who'd been looking at the summaries, looked up and spoke, "Book five: Magic and Other Misdemeanors."

"Damn."

"Would you like do the honors?" Veronica asked Sabrina when Daphne handed over the book.

"No, I'm good."

"I'll do it." Relda volunteered.

"Are you sure, M…"

"Henry."

"Of course, you should do it." Henry changed directions so fast the room practically spun.

Relda accepted the book from her daughter-in-law and cleared her throat.

At the end of another long day, after Uncle Jake dashed off for a late dinner with Briar Rose, Granny suggested everyone else get some sleep. She was sure tomorrow would be a big day in Mr. Canis's trial, perhaps even the day their old friend would be freed. The girls and Puck said goodnight to Granny and Elvis and climbed the steps to their bedrooms.

"Uh...I just realized that the fanfic was the real story with significant adjustments." Red giggled.

"He-ey, Red, shut up." Sabrina snapped.

The girls said goodnight to Puck at their door. He grunted and kept walking down the hall. Unfortunately, Sabrina was dragged along with him.

"Oh, I forgot about you," Puck said, eyeing the handcuffs.

"Friggin' handcuffs." Puck groaned.

"Your fault, fairy."

"What are we supposed to do, fairy boy?" Sabrina cried. "We're not sleeping in the same bed!"

"Damn right you're…"

"Seriously, Hank, we already did this with the fanfic." Jake snorted.

"Who cares about that? I'm going to have to go to the bathroom eventually," Puck mumbled.

"He could sleep on the floor in our room," Daphne said.

"Me? Sleep on the floor." Puck scoffed.

"I'm not sleeping on the floor. I'm royalty," Puck declared as he puffed up his chest. "Grimm can sleep there."

"That's not going to happen," Sabrina said.

"Yeah, like I'd sleep on the floor in my own room." Sabrina rolled her eyes.

Puck huffed and frowned. "Fine, come with me."

He led the girls down the hallway to his bedroom. The door was covered in signs: DEATH AWAITS ALL WHO ENTER HERE! and WARNING! FALLING ROCKS! There was also a picture of a kitten, with the words CUTENESS WILL NOT BE SPARED!

"And that's why Grimm is still alive."

"Listen here, fairy. One more word and I will strangle you and bury your body in a ditch!"

"That was strangely specific." Veronica said.

"I've thought about it."

"Sabrina!" Daphne laughed.

Puck pushed open the door and impatiently ushered them inside.

Sabrina had been in Puck's room before, but it never ceased to amaze her. It wasn't like any bedroom she had ever seen. The night sky was the roof, the forest ground the floor, and a trickling brook led to a lagoon in the distance. The chirping of crickets and the rustle of woodland animals drifted across the air like a lullaby. The room was magical, and from what Sabrina could tell, endless. Who knew how far the water rolled downstream? If you followed it, would you find an ocean at its end? Sabrina didn't know, though she wondered about it from time to time.

"Same rant as the fanfiction." Red sang oh-so-cheerfully with a smirk.

"Shut up."

Puck dragged the girls down to where the room's serene beauty came to a dismaying end. There they found a path littered with broken army men and parts from old skateboards and microwaves. Sabrina nearly stepped into dozens of half-eaten birthday cakes.

"Yeah...those are there."

They climbed up an embankment, where they found a trampoline. A panda bear was sound asleep on its surface. Puck shooed it away. It staggered off, looking for somewhere else to sleep, barking and growling grumpily with each step.

Puck helped Daphne onto the trampoline, then Sabrina, and together the girls pulled him up behind them.

"I love it," Daphne said, jumping up and down and bouncing like a ball.

"And, thankfully, Daphne's here this time."

"Good to know," Puck grumbled. "My only concern is making sure the two of you are comfortable. Now, go to sleep and leave me alone."

"Stupid handcuffs."

"Completely. My. Fault."

Puck lay down, forcing Sabrina to do the same. She nudged as far away from him as possible, feeling entirely uncomfortable.

"Similar to how I'm feeling right now." Sabrina muttered furiously.

Daphne nestled between them, her head at the tips of their fingers.

"The only saving grace for you two here is that Daphne's there." Mr. Canis observed oh-so-helpfully.

"Yes, thank you."

The handcuffs forced them to sleep on their backs. It was hard to get comfortable, and each time Sabrina drifted to sleep she felt Puck's hand drag her hand this way and that. Eventually she decided that despite her best efforts, sleeping was out of the question.

Sabrina and Puck suddenly seemed immensely uncomfortable.

Instead, she settled on resting. She closed her eyes and lay still, listening to the bubbling water in the distance.

"You awake?" Puck asked.

"Couldn't have said no."

"Yes," Sabrina said. Their voices seemed loud in the open air.

"When are you going to tell her what you did?"

"Oh thank god." Sabrina breathed, having forgotten this part of their conversation.

Sabrina bristled. "Maybe you should mind your own business."

"What are you talking about?" Henry asked.

"Sabrina stole a key from me that I wouldn't give her to get the North Wind and didn't tell me." Daphne summarized easily.

Sabrina cringed, "Still sorry."

"I know."

Puck laughed. "As if I could around this place. Every time I turn around the two of you are facing down death—monsters, robots, dragons. Saving your butts is a full-time job."

"Never a truer word was said."

"Stop deluding yourself, dummy, I've been saving myself for a looooong time now." Sabrina replied.

"You keep telling yourself that." Puck replied.

His tone made her angrier. "Then why don't you go back to being a villain? I liked you a lot better when you weren't trying to save us."

"Stupidest words ever; yeah, let's just invite him to prank you."

"I'll go back to being a villain if you go back to the way you were," Puck said.

"I sense a heart-to-heart." Relda smiled.

Two people facepalmed.

"And how was I, Mr. Smarty Pants?"

"For one, you were honest," Puck said.

The words were like a smack in the face and her cheeks grew hot. Who was he to tell her how to be a good person? Wasn't his name the Trickster King? He'd been treating people like chumps for four thousand years. "You're one to talk."

"I didn't steal from Marshmallow or Crimson. Or Midget."

"Don't call me Midget!" Basil protested.

"I was talking about your oldest sister." Puck whispered loudly, Daphne resignedly caught Sabrina round the waist to prevent her from punching Puck.

Was Sabrina marginally shorter than Puck? Yes, yes she was. Was she short? No, she was 5'8 with Puck's 6'1 making him taller

But Puck, of course, had to insult her.

Puck chuckled. "I am a lot of things, Sabrina—mischievous, mean-spirited, gassy—but they don't make me a bad person. They make me immature. You, however, are skating very close to the line. You stole from someone who trusted you and then you lied about it."

"Look who became Mr. Mature." Red teased cheerfully.

"Shuddup, Crimson."

Sabrina wanted to get up and storm away, but she knew the handcuffs wouldn't let her. She was forced to hear his sermon about good and bad, no matter how ridiculous it sounded.

"Your thoughts are as ugly as you are, stinky."

"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!"

"Jeez, I'm joking."

"Nobody likes someone making fun of their appearance." Veronica told him reproachfully, and then gave him a look that made him groan.

"Seriously? You're going to make me apologize?"

"Hmm? Oh no, I know you wouldn't listen to me." Veronica said.

"Apologize to Sabrina." Jake followed up.

Puck let out a whining groan and reluctantly said, "I'm sorry, Grimm."

Sabrina blinked, both at how sincere he had just sounded and how her mother had just metaphorically slapped Puck for a harmless insult. Curious.

"I did what I had to do. Daphne would never have gone to get the weapon. Mr. Canis could eat Granny, Elvis, and half of Ferryport Landing and she would still totally trust him. I'm the only one that sees what he's becoming."

"I might've started to distrust him." Daphne objected.

"Daphne, don't lie."

"Yeah...yeah, okay."

"But I was a huge bi...uh, brat in this book."

"And all of them." Red whispered jokingly, Sabrina pushed her shoulder playfully.

"Who's arguing with you about that? It's obvious to most of us that furface is in trouble. I won't even say you're wrong about wanting to do something about it."

"Furface?" Red asked.

"I speak only the truth, Crimson.'

"Then what's the lecture for?"

"To torture us with this crap." Sabrina said simply.

"The lecture's because the way you are going about these things kinda stinks. It's the way you are going about these things kinda stinks. It's all nice and noble of you to want to do the right thing, even if I do think it's stupid. But if the only way to make something good happen is to do something bad, then maybe it's not worth it."

"This is so friggin out of character."

"I was at the height of my sickness!" Puck told Veronica emphatically.

"Oh for gods' sake! For the last time puberty is not a virus!' Sabrina yelled at the blond.

"Sure, stinky, whatever."

The other blonde growled.

Sabrina looked off into the dark forest, not wanting to see Puck's face.

"But what do I know? I'm not supposed to be a good person. But you are. You're Sabrina Grimm and your sister worships you. You're supposed to be a good role model to her. Don't you think it's kind of odd that the Prince of Juvenile Delinquents is teaching you right from wrong?"

"You were just destroyed." Daphne informed Sabrina.

"Yeah, I know."

Sabrina mulled over Puck's words as she lay in the dark. She wondered if he might not be right. She knew she had betrayed her sister, but at the same time she realized that she didn't really care about Daphne's opinion.

Relda paused for a moment before letting out a giggle. Sabrina and Puck both were well aware of what she'd read.

"What?' Henry asked.

"Veronica, restrain him." The elderly woman told her daughter-in-law. Without even asking why, the woman did as was told.

She had been in charge of the two of them ever since their parents disappeared and things had worked out just fine. If she had let Daphne vote on their futures, the two of them would be in a heap of trouble.

"Ouch."

"Yeah! Yeah! Let's keep talking. Forever." Sabrina said loudly.

"N-n-n-no, let's not." Jake smirked.

"I'm interested." Veronica shrugged with a grin.

Sabrina and Puck seemed very intent on staring at the floor, cheeks heating up incessantly.

"By the way," Puck said softly. It had been an hour since he had last spoken and she was startled to hear him still awake. "You don't need the makeup."

Puck looked disgusted at his younger self, Sabrina's face was on fire, Henry was straining against his wife and everyone else was cracking up.

"Oh! Oh this is gold." Red said through tears of laughter.

"I hate my life." Sabrina groaned.

"This is freaking awful." Puck replied.

Relda managed to stop laughing enough to read after about five minutes.

Sabrina felt like her face was on fire. He knew about her late night beauty sessions. And, if she had heard him correctly, he was also admitting that he thought she was pretty.

Puck and Sabrina looked so uncomfortable it was almost sympathy-inducing….almost. Most everyone was still too busy laughing and trying to hold it in.

She looked over at him and found he was looking at her.

"I kinda wish I hadn't said that," he said.

"Me, too," she replied.

"And that's the end of that." Sabrina muttered firmly, and then cringed when she again remembered the thing she now referred to as 'The Incident'.

"Oh no it ain't." Veronica had a Cheshire smile.

"Would it help if I said you were a stinky, muck-covered toadface?"

Sabrina nodded and edged as far away as she could on the trampoline. Puck did the same.

Puck and Sabrina(Daphne in between them and Red on Sabrina's other side and Basil on Puck's other side) shifted their chairs away from each other.

"Hello!" Uncle Jake's voice echoed from near the lagoon.

"We're here!" Sabrina shouted as she sat up, taking Puck with her.

"Not like the...fanfiction ." Relda observed.

"Darn right it wasn't!"

Together they shook Daphne awake.

"Come on! I found our mysterious Goldilocks again. She's in Paris."

"Okay, I am so done." Puck exclaimed, he snatched the book from Relda, handed her the Fairy-Tale Detectives, and folded the book into his arms as he sat back down.

"Well...okay then. But we will be revisiting this." Henry growled.

"Shut up." Veronica snorted.

Sabrina took the book from her grandmother much more gently and managed a smile at her before she swallowed and began to read.

"You think this is funny?" Sabrina exploded. She began making jabs at the boy, who flew effortlessly away from her thrusts. "A kid and a bunch of flying cockroaches kidnapping girls and threatening to kill them? That's how you losers have fun?"

"Kind of, yeah."

"You are an idiot."

"Aww, we wouldn't have killed you. We were just fooling," the boy said.

"Told you." Puck groused.

"Well, if you're finished with your stupid, psychotic games, my sister and I have to rescue our grandmother," Sabrina declared.

"Stupid," Puck muttered irritatedly.

She took Daphne's hand and turned to leave. Elvis joined them, but Sabrina shot him an angry look. The dog had spent the entire episode sitting lazily by the pool as if nothing peculiar were happening. The Great Dane caught her eye and whined.

"Aw, my good boy knew Puck was friendly."

"That Puck was not friendly. Give it...fifteen pages."

"I am not friendly!"

"Keep telling yourself that."

"You've only been in this town for two days and you've already lost the old lady," the boy said bitterly, as he floated into the girls' path.

"You were so helpful." Sabrina said sarcastically.

"We didn't lose her, she was taken by a monster as big as a mountain," Sabrina argued.

"Well, if you've come looking for help, you've come to the wrong place," the boy crowed. "Rescuing old ladies is a job for a hero! I'm a villain of the worst kind."

"Suuuuuuure." Jake enunciated.

"Careful." Puck scowled.

"Good! We don't want your help!" Sabrina said angrily, tossing the boy's sword aside.

"I thought Peter Pan was one of the good guys," Daphne added.

Puck looked furious. "We almost got squished when Dad was being a jerk and called you that." Daphne said conversationally.

"You did?" Basil looked awed.

"Yeah, Dad was a jerk quite a bit back then." Sabrina told him.

The boy's face turned so red Sabrina thought his head might explode. "Peter Pan? I'm not Peter Pan! I'm Puck!"

"Who's Puck?" Daphne murmured reminecstely.

"Who's Puck?" Daphne asked.

"Who's Puck?" the boy cried. "I'm the most famous Everafter in this town. My exploits are known around the world!"

"Not anymore, fairy boy." Sabrina said, taking a break from her reading.

"Shuddup Grimm."

"I've never heard of you," Sabrina replied. She spun around and started walking through the yard to the street, with her sister and Elvis following. After only a couple of steps, the boy was hovering in front of them again.

"You've never heard of the Trickster King?" Puck asked, shocked.

"So self assured." Red smiled.

The girls shook their heads.

"The Prince of Fairies? Robin Goodfellow? The Imp?"

"Here we go." Veronica said, half-fondly and half-exasperatedly.

"Do you work for Santa?" Daphne asked.

Henry snorted with laughter.

"I'm a fairy, not an elf!" Puck roared. "You really don't know who I am! Doesn't anyone read the classics anymore? Dozens of writers have warned the world about me. I'm in the most famous of all of William Shakespeare's plays."

"And then my stupid self said…"

"I don't remember any Puck in Romeo and Juliet," Sabrina muttered, feeling a little amused at how the boy was reacting to his non-celebrity.

"I don't even like Romeo and Juliet." Sabrina reflected.

"Besides Romeo and Juliet!" Puck shouted. "I'm the star of A Midsummer Night's Dream!"

"The star? I don't think so."

"Grimm!"

"Congratulations," Sabrina said flatly. "Never read it."

"Unfortunately, I have now."

"I like it." Daphne shrugged casually.

"Of course you do! I'm in it!' Puck proclaimed.

"I actually much prefer Titania." Daphne replied matter-of-factly.

"God why? Puck is way better than freaking Titania, well...in the story at least." Sabrina objected.

Daphne shrugged.

Puck floated down to the ground. His wings disappeared and he spun around on his heel, transforming into a big shaggy dog. Elvis growled at the sight of him, but Puck didn't attack. Instead, he shook himself all over, spraying the girls with water. When he was finished, he morphed back into a boy.

"Freaking fairy."

"What did he tell you didn't need, again? I forgot." Basil feigned innocence.

"Oh shut it."

As she wiped the water off her face, Sabrina was tempted to give the weird boy another piece of her mind, but they had wasted enough time with this "Puck." She took Daphne's hand in hers once more, and together they marched down the deserted street.

"I'm afraid the old lady is a goner!" Puck taunted. "You'll get no help. Like I said, I'm a villain."

"Suuure."

"Hey!"

"Fine!" Sabrina shouted back.

"Fine!"

Daphne turned on the boy. "You sent those pixies to attack us last night, didn't you?"

Henry growled a little at the younger man, remembering how they'd attacked Dapune.

"In my defense, I told them not to attack the little one. They're not exactly the smartest fliers in the sky."

"Just a little fun," Puck replied.

"That wasn't very nice." The little girl gave him her best angry look and then turned to join her sister.

"I'm a lot of things, but nice isn't one of them," the boy called after them.

"Maybe we should team up with him? He could fly over the forest and spot the giant," Daphne suggested to Sabrina.

"I like how you automatically said that after turning around." Relda chuckled.

"I was scared."

"Daphne, you saw what a lunatic he is. I don't want him to ruin whatever slim chance we might have."

"Me? A lunatic? Oh please, Grimm!"

"I am already this close to killing you. Don't. Push. Me." There was barely a millimeter between her fingers. He shut up.

The path to the front door of Granny Relda's cottage seemed like a walk up a mountain, and by the time they arrived at the house Sabrina was nearly asleep standing up.

"Yeah...I was asleep, wasn't I?"

"I think you were laying on the ground." Sabrina replied.

She took out Granny's key ring and felt the weight of a hundred keys jingling in her hand, singing their mysteries.

By the time all the locks were open, it seemed as if hours had passed. Elvis was asleep and drooling on the sidewalk, swinging his thick legs back and forth as he dreamed.

As Sabrina unlocked the final lock, she turned to her sister and smiled. "That's all of them." She twisted the knob and leaned into the door. Unfortunately, the door didn't swing open. In fact, it didn't budge at all.

"I forgot about the lock, you wouldn't know about that." Relda admitted with a shrug.

"Me to the rescue." He smiled wickedly.

"Shut up, Puck."

"What's wrong?" Daphne said, sitting up. She had been resting on the ground with her head on Elvis's warm belly.

"Hey, I was right!"

"It's jammed," Sabrina said, pushing her shoulder against the big door to force it open.

Daphne got up and walked over. "Are you sure you unlocked them all?" she said.

"Daph, I apologize, but you were kind of a snot as well." Red informed her best friend and surrogate sister.

"Yeah, I know. It got much worse."

Sabrina fumed. If she knew anything, it was how to unlock a door. They'd escaped from a dozen foster homes in the last year and a half. Locks were not Sabrina's problem. She took the cold doorknob in her hand and turned it, proving that she had unlocked it. She pushed hard but still nothing happened.

"And, I come back and save the day." Puck flashed a Cheshire Cat grin.

"You know, Puck, for someone who is so dead set on being a villain, you seemed to be dead set on saving the day." Jake observed.

"Shut it."

"Well, it's not opening. Maybe the back door," she said, preparing to circle the house.

"You've forgotten the secret," a familiar voice commented. Puck floated to the ground, his huge wings disappearing just as he landed.

"We didn't know the secret." Daphne announced.

"What do you want?" Sabrina demanded.

"I did a flyby, all the way up into the mountains. I found some tracks, but no giant," Puck said. "I sent some pixies to keep searching without me."

"They weren't happy about the assignment, I'm guessing. Your brother used to tell me about the pixie's antics." Veronica guessed.

"They were furious."

Sabrina turned the doorknob angrily, hoping the door would suddenly open so she could laugh as she slammed it in Puck's face. But again, nothing happened.

...

Alright, that's the end of this chapter. I hope you enjoyed it. QOTW-or two days, but whatever-is...what's your favorite SG book? Mine is probably Once Upon a Crime because it has so much Puckabrina and I live for it. See you on Sunday! Book Out.
