Daddy's making noises
jay jay asked for a oneshot of Snowing constantly 'making tacos' in various places. Emma accepts it, but when her little sister calls her in the middle of the night because her dad is making weird noises she knows she needs to talk to her parents.
Snow and Charming were a very…physical couple. That was no surprise to anybody in Storybrooke. Not even Emma (much as she tried not to think about it as much as possible). They just couldn't get enough of each other, or so it seemed. Emma turned a blind eye to their 'shenanigans' as much as possible. No matter where or when the mood struck them. But even for Emma, there came a point where she had to address the issue. No matter how painful it was going to be. That moment was when her little sister called her up in the middle of the night…
Emma groaned as she heard her phone buzzing. It took her a moment to see that it was a call from her parents' house. She answered immediately, worried someone had been involved in an accident.
"Hello?" Emma croaked down the line. "Is everything ok?"
"Emma?" A little voice whispered back. Emma sat up.
"Rosie?" She said. "Rosie, what are you doing up at this time, let alone calling me?"
"I'm scared Emma." Rosie whimpered.
"Ok, but why don't you talk to mommy or daddy? Or even Neal?"
"Neal told me to go away when I woke him up and it's mommy and daddy who are scaring me. It's daddy…he's making noises. I'm scared he's hurt." Emma's face paled. She knew her dad wasn't hurt. She knew what those noises were. She wished she could just tell Rosie to go back to bed, but she knew the poor little girl was too scared without the promise of something happening. She suspected neither of her parents' phones would be on.
"Don't go in there. I'm coming over now. Can you go back up to your bed. Daddy will be fine when you wake up in the morning. I promise."
"Ok Emma. Night."
"Night Rosie. Sleep tight." Emma hung up and groaned. This was not going to be fun.
Twenty minutes later, Emma was outside her parents house. She counted to ten before using her keys and letting herself in. She couldn't believe it when she heard her parents only now suddenly stop upon hearing the door open. She stood by the couch and waited. A few minutes later, her now dressed parents came out. Her dad with his sword and her mom with her loaded bow.
"To be honest, I'd rather you murdered me right now." Emma grumbled.
"Emma?" Charming asked as they both lowered their weapons.
"Emma, what are you doing here in the middle of the night?!" Snow added. Emma sighed. She was really doing this.
"Rosie called me about half an hour ago. She was terrified because her daddy was making noises. She was worried you were hurt." At least her parents had the decency to look sheepish. "I know you guys are still super…in love, shall we say, but could you keep it down? Before all your kids are scarred."
"Sorry Em." Charming said with a grin. "We'll try and keep it down." He promised her. Emma nodded, satisfied.
"Good. You might want to go upstairs and prove to Rosie you're not dying. Good night." Emma said before leaving to go home and have a large glass of wine.
