Deceived
Marie asked for a oneshot of *season 5 spoilers!* Charming finding out about Arthur's deception by himself and when he confronts him, Arthur pours the Sands of Avalon in his eyes.
Could someone tell me where Australia is at on the show? It's for people there that I still give season 5 spoilers, but it would be useful to know when I can stop lol.
I'd never felt so furious in my life. That traitor! Did he really think he could fool me into handing him over the power to control, or even murder, my daughter? Did he really think I was that stupid? Arthur wasn't going to get anywhere near Emma or the Dark One's dagger. I would see to that.
Arthur didn't see my turn on him coming. That was made clear by the smile he greeted me with when I came into his throne room, where he'd asked me to meet him.
"David!" He said, throwing his arms open. Like I was going to embrace such a snake. "I'm glad you could meet me here. Did you manage to locate the dagger? Have you brought it with you?" The excitement in his voice was sickening. I played it as cool as I could. I wanted to wrap my hands around his scrawny neck right now and choke him to death.
"Oh, I have the blade." I said calmly as I approached him. I saw him look gleeful before I pulled out my sword and aimed it at his throat. The smile was quickly wiped off his smug little face. "The blade that will slit your throat." I snarled. He gulped. "Did you really think you could betray me and I wouldn't notice? You were trying to have me sacrifice my own daughter for your selfish means…"
"Selfish? David, I'm trying to save my kingdom-"
"And I'm trying to save my daughter!" I barked back. There was no excuse for what he had attempted. "You won't be getting the dagger, and you won't be getting anywhere near my daughter again. We're leaving right now…"
"David wait!" The spineless king pleaded with me. There was nothing he could say that would change my mind. I turned around to tell him so, and suddenly found something flying into my eyes. It burned painfully. I blinked rapidly as my vision cleared…
Why did I come into the throne room again? Arthur was smiling warmly at me. I smiled back. That's right, I was here to help him rid Camelot of darkness…
