It ain't nothin' but a rearview town

Broken hearts and rusted plows

Roots ripped right up out of the ground

Never thought I'd ever leave it

It ain't nothin' what it used to be

Population minus me

On the other side of that dust cloud

Ain't nothin' but a rearview town

I could tough it out, but what's the use?

A place that small, it's hard to do

Too much of her (*Him*) to run into

And so much road to somewhere new- Rearview Town -Jason Aldean

Six Months Later *

It was the weekend and the samcro crew were aggravated about club business that went South, of course they never went into detail when Sage was around.

Sage was helping out cleaning the clubhouse, handing out beer and wiping down the bar top.

Looking around seeing all the old ladies of the crew, and crow eaters with the members that were single.

Looking over at Jax , Sage felt bad that he was alone, Tara left for med school and he has not been the same.

The clubhouse was sad and quiet except for the occasional strike of the pool balls from the pool table where Chibs and Tig were playing.

Looking over on the small sofa, Donna was sitting on Opie's lap.

Her heart broke of jealousy.

Her family felt more distant .Everyone has grown up and have a life of their own. Her father practically disowned her at a young age. Her mom and her uncle ... gone. Her friend Sky had plans to move to New York after school, and her other best friend was in love and had a crack in their friendship.

Right this moment she couldn't wait to start a life of her own. There was nothing left here for her. Gemma walked through the door.

"Hey baby, haven't seen much of you last few days." Gemma said as she went to the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee. And sat at the bar.

Sage was throwing empty beer bottles and cans in the recycling bin. " yeah working at Scoops , baby sitting , spreading Time With Sky mostly. I'll be at dads tonight if that's OK, I have mid terms in two weeks and I really got a buckle down and study."

"Oh that's fine, I don't see why you are so worried, I know you will ace them , and Arizona will be amazed at your grades, you've always been a star student "Gemma smiled as the whole club went even more silent

" Arizona? Sounds like you're taking a step into you're future , best of luck " Piney toasted her and took a drink .

" ARIZONA?! " Jax narrowed his eyes

Gemma looked at Sage "my guess is you didn't tell anyone?"

"No Aunt Gemma, but you did!… I got to head out, I need to babysit for two hours then head to work, remember I'll be at dads studying for a few days I need quiet so I can focus"

"OK darlin', call me when you get home"

Sage walked down the road, she felt like she no longer belong here ...she felt out of place. Charming was nothing more than a ghost town, little population, so many people putting their houses up for sale, abandon buildings for rent, stores going out of business, the drug activity has gotten worse over the last year. This town was breaking her heart, family was here ...she didn't want to leave, but at the same time it was suffocating her.

Soon it will just be a rearview town
