Epilogue 3:
Six Months Later
Calisto Flowers, Capitolite
There were some days when life just completely sucked ass, forced to live in a basement – albeit a fancy as fuck basement with anything he could ever want – and hidden away from much of the world. Days when he almost wished he had just died in that arena instead of having to live alone. Days where he resents having to find a brand new identity after the struggle he went through in the past of figuring that out. At least he was able to keep some aspects of his name.
But then there's days like today where he's full of bubbling excitement over the things the Capitol can offer him to improve his life. He never would have gotten the hormones he needed in Seven with how Vera kept him locked away. Surgeries are still years down the road, but Mendalius has already penciled in dates for him. He can finally feel like himself…and do whatever he wants to his body. That alone is a greater gift from Mendalius than Vera ever would have given in Seven and makes him more sure every day that aligning with the Capitol was the right move.
Doesn't mean he doesn't still miss Elin some days…if there is any part of this he regrets, it's not being able to see them again. But Luciano gives him updates on them every time they visit the rebels and that's enough to get him through.
And now…now it's time to embrace the punk life of Calisto Flowers.
"Are you sure about this?" Mendalius asks him for the fifth time that day, sitting to the side as he watches the stylist set the sterilized tools to the side.
Calisto has barely stopped grinning since the stylist arrived, covered in their own piercings and tattoos that he can't wait to have himself someday. And today is the first step. "You wanted me to embrace the Capitol life, right?" Calisto asks him and the President doesn't respond, just takes a sip of his tea instead. "Well let me be edgy and get my eyebrow pierced." And his nose and lip, but he really wanted to see first how he tolerated the pain first.
"Yes, yes, I did say that," Mendalius sighs and shakes his head at Calisto, but there's no hiding the smile he fights back. "If it makes you excited…then that makes me happy."
Calisto stares at the man, searching for some sort of lie there since every adult he ever knew back in Seven seemed to lie about liking him, but he's only telling the truth. He still barely believes it…how can the President of Panem care so much for the happiness of some kid who got screwed over by the rebels? "I'm getting there," he finally says with a heavy sigh, his shoulders sagging at the reality of his life. "Some days I'm fine but others…" he shakes his head, trying to not make the President worried for him. "It's fine, you don't have to worry about me."
"But I do," Mendalius answers him, frowning as he studies him. "You got dragged into this by my fault. I've left the rebels go unchecked for years, thinking they weren't a threat. I was wrong."
Calisto shrugs at him since he is right. "If you had, I might not have been born, so hey, thanks for letting me be alive."
Mendalius chuckles at that and sits back as the stylist finishes setting up their tools. "Well, you're welcome then."
"But seriously…don't worry for me," Calisto tries to tell him, but he can see it's a moot cause. "I'm fine just…lonely some days."
Mendalius frowns deeply at that and sets down his teacup, his hand shaking from it. "I can make sure we visit more often, it's just hard because, well…running a country is a lot of work. We could get you a pet? Would that be good? I know Theodosius has been working on some research and might have a good pet."
"I don't think anything part of research with the nation's security will be a good pet," Calisto scoffs at that statement, but appreciates the sentiment. "I'll take a normal dog."
"We can do that," Mendalius promises him. "And maybe soon…we can move you into the main part of the mansion. Just…give it some time after the tour so you're not fresh in their minds."
"Deal," Calisto agrees without much thought. He'll take any living situation over this. He'll be the best behaved teen living in the mansion that Mendalius could ask for, just anything to actually see some people on a daily basis. "Now it's time to be edgy."
The stylist chuckles at his statement, the look in their eyes showing they don't think Calisto is edgy at all. But only because he hasn't gotten any piercings yet. Give him a few piercings, some sick tats, and some bulking up in the gym and he'll be edgy as fuck. "Alright, you sure you want to go straight for the eyebrow?"
"Give it to me," Calisto says, wiggling his eyebrows at the stylist. They shrug at his eagerness but get to work disinfecting the area and applying some numbing cream. When he sees the needle they're going to use, he shuts his eyes. "Nope, I'm not watching."
"Hey, I didn't watch for mine either," they answer and he can faintly feel them poking around his eyebrow. "Alright, you shouldn't feel it, but just relax and…three…two…"
Calisto doesn't feel the poke of the piercing and opens his eyes after a few seconds. "That's it?" he asks and the stylist grins at his eagerness. They pass him a mirror and he excitedly takes it, turning his head and wiggling his eyebrow at it. His bright blue hair catches him off guard for a second and he doubts he'll ever get used to that or his green eyes – but damn does he love how the silver ring in his eyebrow looks. "Fuck yeah!" Mendalius clears his throat at Calisto's swearing, prompting him to look over at the President and wiggle his newly pierced eyebrow. "What do you think?"
Mendalius considers it as he sips his tea, buying himself time. "It…suits you."
"Aha!" Calisto points at him in satisfaction. "I knew I'd get you to agree it works!"
"Yes, yes," Mendalius waves his hand at him, but Calisto sees right through his mock annoyance. "You were right."
"Hell yeah I was," Calisto grins as he turns back to the stylist, knowing Mendalius is gonna flip at what he says next, but not caring. He's finally starting to be happy with his body and life. "Let's do more. I'm thinking…nose next."
Julian Avis, Capitol Researcher
There is nothing that could have stopped Julian from being present in the research lab on this day, a day he had been waiting to arrive for months now. The past week he's even slept in the lab, not wanting to leave in case he missed it. Leave it to when he has to use the bathroom after a bad case of nachos for the eggs to start hatching.
He imagines this is how people feel becoming new parents. But he'd much rather be a godfather to a clutch of thunderbirds.
Julian runs through the lab, pushing his feathered hair out of his face, and pushing past anyone in his way. Behind him, Fucker – the obvious upgrade in name from Pissy – flies after him, the parrot squawking at being left behind to fly in his excitement. "They're hatching!" he yells excitedly, leaning into the role Theodosius has coached him through of eccentric bird man. Arguably, it wasn't too different from his past self. Just a lot more talking, which he was not the biggest fan of.
He runs into the room, catching his breath as he sees the group already gathered there, and Fucker lands on his shoulder. He reaches up and scratches the bird's chest, knowing she can do much more than a normal parrot can do. Theodosius stands proudly around the five eggs and glances up at the door opening. "About time, get in here!"
Julian doesn't need to be told twice and squeezes his way past his team to be right up front of the eggs in their incubator. "Oh I'm so excited to see them," he mutters, pressing his hand to the glass dome surrounding them. His reflection stares back at him, golden eyes in a sharp, birdlike face, with red feathered hair slicked back and falling past his shoulders. The phoenix reborn. He smirks a little to himself, still proud of that idea for his Capitol makeover.
He doesn't notice the new person there until Theodosius clears his throat and Julian looks over. He blinks at the girl barely older than him standing there, looking nervous but also like she could kick his ass without breaking a sweat. "Julian, this is one of the newest members of the security team, Inga. She's working under the current Head of Security and she will observing the thunderbird babies."
Fucker lets out a loud squawk and flaps her wings angrily. "Lies!"
Theodosius lets out a disappointed sigh and Julian reaches into his feathered jacket for a treat for her. "I thought I could sneak one past her."
Julian laughs at the assumption and offers another treat to Fucker. "She's too smart for you. Now, what was the lie?"
"My name is actually Ishani," the girl speaks up, clearing her throat awkwardly. "Ishani Kostas, nice to meet you.
She holds her hand out to Julian and he stares down at it for a few seconds, not trusting anyone Theodosius brings here, until she awkwardly pulls it back. Theodosius laughs at the exchange, "Okay, she's also here to keep an eye on you. But can you blame me?"
Julian rolls his eyes at him and turns his attention back to the eggs. "How many times do I have to tell you that I am more than content here with my birds and won't cause trouble?"
"As many times as I insist I still don't fully trust you," Theodosius counters and Julian just shrugs in response. It's a common argument and neither will be convinced.
But there's much more important things going on right now. Mainly, the egg that's starting to hatch. "Come on little one," Julian coos to the egg as he slides open the access panel. "You can do it!"
Over the next minute, the bird cracks open the shell and soon a tiny little head pokes out, studying all of them curiously, before its gaze settles on Julian. It lets out a little cry and scrambles the rest of the way out of the egg, all while Julian watches on, holding a hand on his heart as he tries to handle the cuteness. "Yes, who's a good little murderous bird! You are!"
The bird falls out of the egg and quickly rights itself, before trotting over to him on unstable legs. "Oh have you chosen me as your person?" he asks the bird, holding out his hand for it to climb on. It studies his hand for a few seconds before taking a little nibble out of it and letting out the cutest little squawk. "Oh! So tough and scary!" he says as he scoops up the bird, showing it who is the boss around here. He holds it close to his chest and it soon settles down, before he turns to the others all just watching him with confused looks. "Look at how cute they are!"
"Yes, so cute," Theodosius answers in a monotone and Julian rolls his eyes at him, turning back to watch the others as they hatch. He just wants to see if the rest choose him as their person or someone else. "Tiny little murder machines."
"Well we have to teach them that," Julian corrects him as the next bird starts to hatch. "For now, they could be anything we train them to be."
"Let's stick to security," Theodosius answers and they fall into silence, broken only by Julian as he encourages the rest of the birds to hatch one by one.
But soon he starts to realize that the last bird might not hatch, the egg that was always the smallest of the bunch, and his heart starts breaking at the thought. He puts his bird back in the incubator as he studies the last egg, trying to will it to hatch. But the minutes go on and his doubt just grows with each one that passes.
Finally, he sighs and turns back to Theodosius. "I don't think that one will hatch," he answers sadly and puts his hand up to Fucker. The parrot climbs on his hand and lets him hold her near his chest, trying not to be too sad about it. It's just a matter of life and there's always some eggs that don't make it.
He just really wanted his first clutch of thunderbirds to be a complete success.
"Well lets discuss the training," Theodosius says and motions for him to follow him over to the table against the wall.
Julian sets Fucker down on the table so he can pull out his tablet, projecting a calendar between them to map out expected development times. They only pause at an exclamation from Ishani who stayed over by the birds. "It's hatching!"
"What?" Julian asks as he jumps up from the table, hearing Fucker fly to follow after him. He has to see it with his own eyes. And sure enough, there's a tiny little face peeking through a hole, staring right at Ishani and cooing softly. "Ah…" he says in understanding, but a bit of distrust. He doesn't know this person at all…yet he's going to have to work closely with them from now on. "That little one chose you."
"Me?! That's not possible," Ishani says in disbelief and shakes her head. Hearing her voice, the bird starts to make its way out of the egg to get closer to her.
"Well better believe it," Julian tells her, his voice flat as he studies her.
Theodosius comes up and puts his hands on both of their shoulders, earning a sneer from Julian. "Well, looks like you two really will be working together now. Julian can tell you all about it but these birds bond with a human. And we don't know how babies will react to being separated from their human for an extended time."
"Oh…" Ishani says softly, shaking her head as she looks at the bird. "I…I don't know about this."
"Look, he wants to meet you," Julian points at the bird now out of the egg and hopping towards Ishani. He reaches in and scoops up the bird, getting some nips in the process that he ignores.
Ishani is backing away from him when he turns towards her. "Don't be shy," Julian tells Ishani, grinning at the way she lingers away from the birds. He knows why she's afraid of the mutts, but he sees the curiosity in her eyes. He holds the baby cupped in his hands out to her, chuckling when she takes a nervous step back from him. "Oh come on, look at how cute they are at this size! They can't hurt you at this size – well," he tilts his head in thought as he studies the size of the beak on the thunderbird in his hands. "Just be careful with your fingers, I can't guarantee you won't lose one if they mistake it for a worm."
"Why did I agree to this?" Ishani mutters under her breath as she hesitantly takes the bird into her hands. It settles down immediately, snuggling up and watching her with wide eyes and Julian can see the exact moment the bird wins her over.
"Theodosius can be a hard man to say no to," Julian tells her, glancing at the man in question to find him smirking at that statement. "But, I know I haven't regretted agreeing to him."
Why would he regret running a research team studying thunderbirds and getting to be surrounded by birds every day while working towards a degree in Ornithology? This is his dream, after all.
"Well Ishani, I guess you are part of the team now. Let's start by seeing if they're hungry."
Marian Lilley, Victor of the 137th Hunger Games
Who would have thought that Marian's favorite part of the victory tour would be returning home? She thought the Capitol party would be the highlight, this time able to fully enjoy it knowing Jazmyn was safe and at full health. But once on the train, she knew she'd rather be at home with Jazmyn and her girlfriend over any party.
Well, any party except for the victory tour party in Two.
"Ladies, are you ready for this?" Marian asks the two girls, one on each arm, grinning at having them next to her. Flannery had insisted Marian give her entrance on her own and Marian told her to fuck off at that idea. These were the people she fought for, the reasons she's still alive. She wasn't going anywhere without them.
"Oh hell yeah," Jazmyn answers immediately, bouncing from foot to foot in her excitement as they wait at the door for their grand entrance. "Been waiting for this ever since you were chosen as the volunteer."
"I'm always ready to support you," Dany adds on softly as they hear the crowd cheer louder at the cue for their entrance.
The doors are opened wide for them and the crowd's cheers get louder at the sight of Marian. She grins widely at the noise and walks in proudly with the two girls she loves more than anything, just relishing in the praise from her District. She's been to three victory tour parties in her lifetime and every time she imagined herself as the victor making their entrance. And now…she did it.
She blinks back her tears as they get close to the stage and Jazmyn and Dany let go of her arms so she can go up on her own. She pauses at the steps up, taking the time to soak in everything about this moment. She never wants to forget this. With a deep breath, she heads up the stairs to where Kat waits for her, smiling proudly at the sight of a new victor.
"Thank you all for being here tonight to celebrate the victory of another victor!" Kat tells the crowd, smiling as they all cheer in response. Marian can't help but grin at the noise from them, knowing it's for her. Kat puts her hand on Marian's shoulder, giving the youngest victor a proud look. "Congratulations, Marian Lilley. You have truly earned your legacy among the victors of District Two."
"Thank you," Marian answers quietly, her cheeks starting to hurt from how much she's smiling at the praise from a woman she admires so much.
Kat gestures for Zephyr to step forward and she takes the deep red ceremonial sash off of his shoulder. As she steps towards Marian, the youngest victor puts her shoulders back, so ready for this. She made sure she was put in a black dress for this, so the sash would stand out even more – the clearest sign that she is the newest victor. Kat gently puts the sash on her and adjusts it for a moment before stepping back, as Marian gently runs her hand over the soft silk. Kat stares at her proudly for a few seconds before turning back to the ground and gesturing at her, "Our victor of the 137th Hunger Games!"
The crowd goes nuts for her and Marian grins as wide as possible, waving at them. This is it, her moment. So many years of hard work to reach this point and she did it.
Marian faces the crowd as they start to quiet down, all of them watching her proudly. "Thank you all for your support," she tells them, feeling herself starting to get a little too emotional about it, especially when she finds Jazmyn and Dany standing together, her sister already crying tears. "Oh come on Jaz, you can't start crying yet because I'm going to start crying!" she teases her sister, getting laughs from the crowd. Not that it matters what they think about her crying, but she doesn't want to get sappy tonight. She wants to celebrate her victory all night long.
"I've done enough speeches over the past two weeks. So who wants to fucking party?!" she yells and throws her hands up, getting loud cheers from the crowd. Oh yeah, they're ready to fucking party. She turns to Zephyr, the second youngest victor already looking uncomfortable at what happens next, and Marian shakes her head as she offers him her hand. "Come on, you can't get out of this. I want every damn tradition."
Zephyr sighs at that but as he shakes his head, he smirks a little. "Even if you didn't want to, Kat would make us," he says as he takes her hand, letting her lead the way out to the dance floor. The crowd clears a space for them, everyone knowing the tradition of the former youngest victor sharing the first dance with the newest victor. "I should warn you, I'm not a good dancer."
"Oh I know, I was at your party," Marian laughs at the grimace on his face as he puts one hand on her waist and holds her hand with the other. She puts her hand on his shoulder, bracing herself for this. "Do I need to lead the dance?" she teases him, getting a scowl from him that just makes her laugh loudly.
"I know how to dance!" Zephyr says with a huff as the music begins to play and he tries to prove his point. And yes, he does know the moves, but he is awful at keeping in time to the waltz, and soon Marian tries to lead it, only for him to keep protesting it. Thankfully more of the victors start to fill the dance floor, sparing them from the crowd fully focusing on their disaster of a dance. Bronn is the first to lead Kat out to join them, followed quickly by Clemont and Viola. Glacia has to all but drag Darach out and Jory takes Roxanne's hand, not wanting to miss out on dancing, leaving Lysander and Maylene sitting to the side, and Sylvia, who stayed home given her age. But eventually Lysander convinces his former mentee to dance for this, and Marian can't help but feel pride at being surrounded by all the people she looked up to growing up, people she is now part of.
But thankfully for them, the song ends soon and Zephyr is spared from being in the spotlight. At least, out of it with Marian.
"I don't know which of you I want to dance with first!" Jory exclaims in excitement, holding out his arms to gesture at the two.
"I think the custom is you dance with your mentor next," Zephyr responds to him, his cheeks flushing a bit at his mentor being so public about his affection. He offers Marian's hand out to Jory and takes a step back. "Go for it, you know I'm not much of a dancer."
"Just wait until I get my hands on you," Jory teases him, taking Marian's hand and dragging her back onto the dance floor. "Come on, let's show them how it's done!"
Marian can't stop laughing as Jory spins her around on the dance floor, the music picking up in beat and the crowd starts to join them. There's no doubt about it, Jory is much better at dancing than Zephyr – although he does dance a bit like a dad – but Marian doesn't care because she doesn't know when she ever had this much fun.
They dance together for a few songs, some of the other victors jumping in to dance with Marian, and all the while she can't stop the grin that hurts her cheeks. Finally she has a place where she feels like she belongs. But these aren't the only people she has with her tonight and she soon finds Jazmyn and Dany dancing together with Jory, while Zephyr stands nearby and shakes his head at his boyfriend's dancing, and Marian can't help but feel her heart warm at the sight of her mentor making sure her family wasn't left out.
She gets free from Clemont's dancing – she always knew he was a party animal but didn't realize just how much – and makes her way over to her family. "Do I need to save you from the dad dancing?" she calls out as she approaches, getting a grin from Jory at her teasing.
"I think you mean amazing dance moves," Jory answers with a gesture at himself, making Jazmyn snort in laughter. "Okay, okay, fine go dance with the youngins. I'll dance with Zephyr."
"Thanks Jory," Marian tells him seriously, stopping him before he can go dance with Zephyr.
He smiles at her and puts a hand on her shoulder, giving it a small squeeze. "You're part of the family now. We look out for each other. Now go," he gently shoves her towards Jazmyn and Dany. "Celebrate all night!"
With a laugh, Marian takes their hands and drags them out to the center of the dance floor, fully intending to do just that. This is her night, after all. And with her sister and girlfriend dancing with her, her parents nowhere in sight, and the whole District praising her…Marian knows in that moment that she finally has reached a point where she doesn't feel like she has to prove herself anymore. She did what she set out to do and now they're all celebrating her. She got Jazmyn away from their parents. She has a bombass girlfriend that loves her. What more could she possibly need?
She doesn't need to mentor or train, she has her family and freedom. And really, that's all she needs. They were her reason to go into the Games. She has a whole future of possibilities ahead of her with the people she loves right at her side.
Starting now.
Seraphim Lukianas, Gamemaker
Seraphim stands in the middle of the sidewalk, blurs of color walking past him as he stares up at the building in front of him. He has been working there for over a year already, but today it's so much different, despite remaining exactly the same as it was yesterday.
Well, it wasn't the building that changed, but rather Seraphim.
With the victory tour concluded, today is the day he officially is a full-fledged Gamemaker, not just an intern. Of course, he hasn't been given any big tasks just yet – no arena or mutt design for him – but he has been placed on the task of improving the tracker system with the medical technology. Which he is more than happy to do as he still loves the medical world. It's just…so much pressure.
He jumps at his phone buzzing in his pocket and quickly takes it out, ignoring the people staring at him as they walk past. He smiles at the caller ID and quickly answers it, "To what do I owe this honor?"
"Oh stop with that," Lisia says with a laugh that makes him smile a bit, breaking some of his tension. "I called to check in on you since it's a big day. Are you there yet?"
"Currently outside the building and procrastinating going in," he answers honestly, getting another laugh from her.
"Don't ever change," she tells him and he doesn't know if his procrastination is really a good thing. "How are you feeling?"
Seraphim sighs and runs a hand through his hair as he considers that. "Nervous I won't be good enough. Scared to have my own project. Sad you're not there."
Lisia is quiet for a few seconds as Seraphim keeps staring up at the building in front of him, wondering why he's so nervous to enter the place after a year of working there. "It's still weird not being there after six months. Some days I wish I was still working but other days, I don't miss the stress at all," she falls quiet again and Seraphim waits, knowing her well enough to know she's not done yet. "But you're going to do great without me, I know it. I wouldn't have picked you if I didn't think you have the capability to achieve amazing things."
"I don't feel like it sometimes," he answers quietly, the first time he's admitting it out loud to anyone. "There's days when I feel like this has all been a dream and someone is going to just take it all away."
"Well it's not, Seraphim," Lisia tells him, her voice firm and slightly scolding. "You are going to do great things as a Gamemaker, hopefully someday even Head Gamemaker. I believe in you and so does Fabio and the others. You just need to start believing in yourself. So now I want you to march into that building and get to work."
"I thought you weren't my boss anymore," Seraphim teases her as he starts slowly walking towards the building, her words driving him forward. He pushes open the glass doors and stares at the main entrance, still just as awed by the Games Headquarters as he was the first day Lisia brought him in.
"I'm not, but doesn't mean I stopped being your mentor," Lisia answers, making him smile as he starts up the stairs to his new office. "I know you, Seraphim," she continues as he pushes open the door to the first floor and starts down the hallway, waving at a few of his coworkers that he passes. "You have a brilliant mind but sometimes, you really don't believe in yourself. If you want to do great things, you have to learn to do that and trust your decisions. I know, easier said than done. But you'll get there."
Seraphim sighs as he slows in front of his door, newly labeled with his name on a plaque. He stands there for a few seconds, biting his lip as he debates how to answer her. "I'll try my best."
"That's all you can do," Lisia answers him. "Now, I won't keep you from your work any longer. Keep your head up, don't let Fabio overwhelm you with work, and…know that I'm proud of you."
"Thank you, Lisia," Seraphim answers quietly before he hears the click of her hanging up. He puts his phone away and stares at the door for a few more seconds, taking a deep breath before pushing it open and stepping in. The pristine office awaits him, all for him, along with his best friend and new assistant.
"I was wondering when you'd get here," Ophelia says, jumping up from her seat to walk towards him, extra coffee cup already made and waiting for him. "I was getting ready to start heading out to go find you."
"I'm here now," Seraphim responds with a small smile, taking the coffee cup from her. He holds it in both hands as he sits down at the desk, facing her as she sits back down again, tablet poised and ready to help him however she can. How did they go from college students struggling to get through their finals to working on the Games together? All thanks to Lisia. Some days he's not sure if it was a blessing or not, her finding him and dragging him into this life.
But right now? He couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity she gave him.
"Okay Ophelia," Seraphim says, taking a sip of his coffee before setting it aside, ready to listen to Lisia's advice. She chose him for this for a reason and he isn't going to let her down. He will make her proud of him, no matter how many years it takes. Someday, he'll be as great of a Gamemaker as her, maybe even Head Gamemaker. Who knows? Anything is possible. All he knows is that today is the start of his legacy, whatever it might be.
"It's time to get to work."
And thus ends another story... I wasn't sad until I reread what I wrote and got emotional about Seraphim there at the end and proud of him lol. It felt fitting to wrap up this story with one last look at Seraphim, Marian, Pascal (Calisto), and Sissel (Julian), and also get a glimpse at the two Capitolite personas. I never know what to say when a story wraps up lol. Lemme put the RQ first and then I'll get sappy.
RQ #36: What was your favorite moment of this story?
Okay sappy time... First and foremost, I'd like to say a very big thank you to anyone who has stuck through to the end of this story and read it all. I had many ups and downs with this story, which I don't think is really a secret, and it was the reader support that helped me stick through to the end of it. So if you're reading this, thank you so much and you're awesome.
Next, very big thank you to all of the submitters. The cast of tributes can really make or break a story, and I really enjoyed getting to explore a cast with a much darker side to them. It's odd that the majority would be considered invalid in an SYOT and I'm very happy I had that here. So thank you all for submitting a lovely group of mostly invalid tributes. And thank you as well to the escort submitters - I know we didn't see them much, but they were still an important part of the story.
So what's next? I don't think I'll be starting up another partial SYOT at this point, but things can change so I won't say it's never happening. For now, I'll focus on Renegades and even if you don't have a tribute there, I hope you'll consider reading it. You'll see quite a few familiar characters from this story there. And as always, I'm still chugging along on Victor Memoirs and might have a non-SYOT story pop up here and there. I'm certainly not done with writing, just done with having two SYOTs ongoing at the same time, which was why I put my focus on this and got it done. So don't worry, you'll still see updates from me in your inboxes for a while yet.
Thank you once more for joining me on the wild ride that is one of my partial SYOTs. I wouldn't have gotten to this point without your support and I hope I'll see you on whatever I write next. But now, just like Lisia's legacy has come to an end...it's time to end Legacy.
