Will they make it through?

Caroline asked for a oneshot of Charming goes over to Snow and kisses her and says that he missed her so much and is so happy she is back.

Lama: I respect your opinion :).

LuLu: Sorry, but I'm not sure what else I could add to that miniseries.

Guest: Sorry, but I think I covered everything Snow had to say in the last chapter of that miniseries.

I couldn't believe they were actually going through with this. What happened to Regina turning over a new leaf? What happened to Rumplestiltskin's promises to Belle? I guess they all amounted to nothing. Regardless, their deceit hadn't fooled me or Henry and we wouldn't let them kill Snow and Emma. With my gun clutched tightly in my hand and my grandson by my side, together, we ran to the magic well to put a stop to Rumplestiltskin and Regina's cowardly, evil, plan. I loved my sword dearly, but this world's weapons had their perks too. Like being able to strike multiple times rapidly from a distance.

"Hey!" I bellowed when we were close enough. "Get behind me, Henry." I instructed him, I didn't want there being even the slightest chance he could get caught in the middle of all of this. He did as I asked. As soon as he was out of the firing line, I aimed the gun at Rumple's head. He seemed more frustrated than anything else.

"Would you put that stupid thing down and back away." He snarled. "Sometimes sacrifices must be made for the greater good. Snow and Emma are both probably already dead. We're not killing them, Cora will have seen to that. All we're doing is stopping the mother of all evil from coming and wreaking havoc here. This is what's happening. You might as well step aside and let us get on with it."

"No." I growled, still holding up the gun. "Snow and Emma aren't dead. I know it, and Henry knows it. I bet you both know it too, you're just to cowardly to face them both after all you've done. You're not killing my family. I won't allow it." I looked imploringly at Regina. "You might not get along with either of them, but they are Henry's family too. Think of what this will do to him. How will he be able to look at you if you go through with this?" I could see Regina's resolve wavering. Unfortunately, so could Rumplestiltskin.

"Enough." He said simply. I was then suddenly flying backwards and found my hands being tied around a tree by its very roots. Before I could so much as try and free myself, the world went black…

I awoke groggily, my memory taking a few moments to replace itself. As soon as I remembered where I was and what was happening my eyes snapped open. I saw Regina standing at the well, magic clearly flowing through her. Henry was by her side.

"No!" I screamed, struggling against the roots that held me down. "Regina! Don't do this!" She didn't even turn to face me. As soon as I could free myself I was going to kill her. Whether she managed to finish this murder or not. Henry turned to face me.

"Gramps, it's ok!" He shouted over. "Trust me. She's helping us." I didn't like this situation. Not one bit. But I did trust Henry. If he said Regina was helping, she was helping. It was also evident by the clearly furious look on Rumplestiltskin's face. Suddenly, there was a flash of light. Regina fell to the ground. Silence. Nothing. We all looked at the well expectantly…but nobody came through.

"No!" Both Henry and I cried together. I could hear Regina apologising to Henry, but it was too late. They were gone. My beautiful wife…my amazing daughter…gone. I looked up at the well once more, cursing myself for not being just a few minutes earlier. Then they might have made it through…and that's when I saw it. A hand. Could it be? Was it them? The others had seen the hand too. Like me, they froze, waiting to see who appeared. A moment later, Emma's heard appeared above the well before she clambered out.

"Mom?" Henry asked. Emma beamed at him, extending out her arms. "Mom!"

"Hey kid." I heard her greet Henry as he ran into her arms. A second later, Snow clambered out the well too, joining the hug.

"Snow!" I called out. I had to see her, had to hold her. She looked up at the sound of my voice. Her eyes found mine.

"Charming?" She asked. "What happened?" Only now did I see that Henry remembered I was here. He looked at Rumplestiltskin with determination.

"Untie him." He demanded the imp. I smiled. My brave little knight. Rumple clearly didn't like being ordered around by Henry, but relented. Seeing now wasn't the time to cause trouble. With a flick of his wrist, I was free once more. As soon as I was, I scrambled to my feet and ran to Snow. My lips found hers within a moment, and I finally felt at home again. I felt her hand creep up the back of my head. I only pulled away again so I could look into her eyes. Eyes that I hadn't looked into for far too long.

"I missed you so much." I breathed, my hands framing her face as I reminded myself just how beautiful she was. "You've no idea how happy I am that you're back." I looked over to where Emma was still hugging Henry. "Both of you." Snow pulled me into a tight embrace.

"It's good to be home." She sighed, clearly relieved. Just like I was. Thinking, even for just a few minutes, that I was going to have to spend my life without her was torture. It was safe to say that now she was home, I was never letting Snow out of my arms again.
