Notes: Thank you all for the response on the last two chapters. I really did not think this would get such a big viewing since there have already been multiple PLL stories made with this song. Here is the next chapter.

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone is having a Happy Holiday!

Enjoy! :)

Racecars & Dinosaurs, vwoom-vwoom, rawr…

*February 2022 20 months old*

"Vwoom-vwoom!"

Aria grins down at her son as she pretends to have his dinosaurs chase his racecars.

"Are you playing with your cars, Bud?"

"Uh-huh!" It's his new favorite word. Since he is only 20 months old, he does not have many words in his vocabulary. But he sure knows when the answer to a question is a yes!

"Vwoom-vwoom, rawr!"

Aria got off work early today so she is making lunch after picking Ronan up from Ella and Byron's house. They have chicken noodle soup with crackers, since it is February and cold outside.

Then, Aria decides to actually get down in the floor and engage him in his favorite activities.

"Mamma, pay!"

"Okay, Bud, Mamma will play in just a few moments. I have to wash the dishes first."

"Otay."

He is such a well-behaved boy. Really follows in his sisters' footsteps.

"Rawr, rawr, rawr! Vwoom-vwoom, rawr!"

*March 2022 21 months old*

Spencer comes home after a long day of work to a house full of her favorite noises and smells – Aria snd Juliet singing, a dinner of spaghetti cooking, Rosalie listening to music in her bedroom, their favorite candle burning in the living room, and of course, her son playing in the kitchen floor.

"Mommy!"

"Hey, Buddy!"

Spencer kisses his forehead as she sits beside him.

"What do we have here?"

"T-wex!"

"A T-rex?! Well, that's cool!"

"T-wex mass dem!" He demonstrates this sentence by completely obliterating the group of cars he has lined up. The T-rex dinosaur stomps down the "road", kicking the cars, stepping on them, and even rolling over the tops of them.

"Dey go bye-bye!"

He looks so proud of himself for being able to narrate his game.

Spencer bursts into giggles.

"Yeah, Bud. They sure did "go bye-bye", didn't they?"

Lube 'ooh to the moon and back

*May 2022 23 months old*

1 month before his second birthday, and Spencer and Aria are crossing off a major milestone on Ronan's list: sleeping in a "big boy" bed instead of his crib.

"Me no wanna!" The little toddler boy wails. "Me want beddy!"

It's what he used to call his crib, or still does. And normally, Spence and Aria would agree that he may be too small still, however, Ronan has been climbing out his crib for several months now, and they are afraid he might slip and actually fall one day.

So, they took off one set of crib bars, lowered the mattress down, and made it into an actual bed. That does not satisfy the 23-month-old, though.

It just makes him cry harder.

"Sweetie, this is your crib still." Aria tries to reason with him. "See here? This is your crib bars and this is your mattress, and see that? That is your mobile."

"No!"

Seeing that reasoning is getting nowhere, Spencer makes a suggestion.

"What if we let Tiger in here, huh? Would that make it a little better, a little less scary?"

Ronan sniffles and quietens down as what she said registers with him. He holds his stuffed doggy to his chest and rubs his eyes.

"Tie?"

And Spencer brushes back his still-blonde curls.

"Yeah, Tiger. You want Tiger in here, too?"

Ronan nods, calming down a bit. Tiger is their kitten, 8 months old. The Easter Bunny made a special delivery back in April, and all three kids have grown quite attached to the calico-colored kitten.

Spencer walks to the bedroom door, calling for the kitten, who immediately comes running obediently. She even sits in front of Spencer's feet after weaving through them, purring loudly.

"You're such a good girl, Tiger." Spencer coos rubbing the kitten's ear. "Good girl. Now, go see Ronan."

Tiger runs towards the half crib-half bed, jumping up onto the mattress. Ronan squeals in excitement, reaching for her and pulling her close like toddlers tend to do. Thankfully, Tiger is immensely calm, patient, and gentle, so she just lays down while Ronan pets her.

"Ok, Bud." Aria bends down beside the mattress. "You close your eyes and go to sleep."

"Lub 'ooh!"

Brushing back his curls, Aria whispers, "We love you, all the way to the moon and back."

*June 2022 - 2 years old*

Spencer and Aria are going on a little vacation. Their wedding anniversary is coming up, and their parents have surprised them with a week-long trip to the beach. Just them, the ocean, and the sand for seven whole days.

Last week was Ronan's second birthday, and this will be the first time they are away from all three kids. They are unsure of how Ronan will act. The most they have been away is a few sleepovers with Gramma and Grampa here and there and even then, Spencer and Aria were at home, was less than two miles away.

They drop the kids off at Ella and Byron's house on Sunday. They'll stay there until Wednesday, when the twins will switch and go to Veronica and Peter's house. Aria supposes Ronan will be upset, a little out of sorts, and that Jules and Rosie would need a break.

"Okay, babies."

They "divide and conquer" – Spencer grabs their suitcases and bags of toys, stuffed animals, extra snacks like their grandparents' houses won't have enough, the Barbie Dreamhouse that Rosie somehow convinced them to bring, plus Juliet's soccer goal because the one in Ella and Byron's backyard "isn't enough, Mom!"

While she is doing that — Byron helps her with the heavy items — Aria is tasked with getting all three kids out of their individual carseats.

"You be good for Gramma and Grampa. No fighting over toys or refusing to eat your dinner."

Aria directs this to the twins since, obviously, Ronan will not understand the reminder. She leads the kids inside.

"You're comin' back, right?" Rosie asks after taking off her shoes.

"Yes, baby. Mommy and I will be back in exactly 7 sleeps."

Hugs, kisses, goodbyes…

Spencer smothers Ronan in kisses, the toddler squealing in delight.

"Lub 'ooh, Mamma! Lub Mommy!" He chirps.

"We love you, Little Man… all the way to the moon and back."

*August 2022 26 months old*

Ah, the day that Spencer and Aria have dreaded.

26 months after Ronan's birth and… he is officially in Daycare.

Well, actually…

"Honey," Ella sighs as her daughter nervously paces around the kitchen. "He is only going for four hours! I get off at noon. I'll pick him up and bring him home… It's basically like he isn't even in Daycare to begin with."

"I know, Mama. But he is. He has to get dressed, he has Circle Time, Storytime… Play time. I–"

Ella steps closer, in front of Aria to halt her pacing, and gently places her hands on her daughter's shoulders.

"He is only 26 months old. He is still your baby, no matter how his day goes. He sleeps with his pacifier, takes two naps a day, has to be fed, bathed… He still cannot speak complete sentences… Sweetheart, for all intents and purposes, he is still a baby. He is going to be ok."

From there, it is a whirlwind.

The kids come down and eat, then load up in the car. Ella has Juliet and Rosalie, and meets Spencer and Aria at the Daycare so the twins can see their baby brother off to his "first day of school".

They go to his classroom, which is filled with other toddlers and their own parents.

"Lub 'ooh, moon and back!" Ronan says to his parents after saying goodbye to everyone else.

"We love you, Little Man. We love you all the way to the moon and back."

Well, there you go. The next chapter will be the last happy chapter before the "downhill" part of the story. I really do suggest listening to the song if you have not.
