Hi there. I'm glad to see you taking some of your time to read my fanfic, thanks.

Has anyone noticed that when I have to write some dialogue coming from an Undelander I write it in the same way the Vulkans from Star Trek talk? No? Well now you know.

Whatever, here's the chapter.

"Something very fast."

For the rest of the day Gregor explained some other tactics and more history. By the time he was done it was late.

He went to Luxa's room and got in bed next to her. He could have sworn she was asleep, but Gregor was wrong.

"Where were you?" Luxa asked.

"I was in the war room impersonating my history teacher. What about you?"

"I had to listen trough the council's ramble about something, I did not pay attention."

With that Gregor drifted to sleep. Earlier when he was a history teacher, he told Vikus and the generals about the two world wars that the Overland had in the last century. However he refrained from telling them about the number of casualties or atomic bombs or the inhumanities committed during those wars.

The next day was a Monday, because on Gregor's phone the specific Monday alarm started, he had a song for his alarm AC/DC's Back in Black. Both Luxa and Gregor jumped at the start of the song. Gregor picked his phone and stopped the alarm.

"What is that?" Luxa asked while pointing at the phone."

"This? It's a phone."

"It plays music?"

"Yeah."

"What kind of music is that, I have heard many songs in my life, but not one like that."

"Maybe it's because it's from the Overland?"

"Could I listen to it?"

"Sure, let me just find it." Gregor started scrolling trough his albums and at last, he found it. Back in Black by AC/DC. He pushed the play button and the song started playing with it's iconic intro.

"I like it." Luxa said.

Gregor was very happy that she liked it. This song was one of his all time favorites.

"There are more songs by this band, or I guess you don't know what a band is, so the term I should be using is, group of singers."

"What do they call themselves?"

"AC/DC."

"What does that mean?"

"Alternative Current/Descending Current, if I remember correctly."

"Why?"

"I honestly don't know. You want to listen to some more songs?"

"We have time, it is still early."

After listening trough Gregor collection of AC/DC, which wasn't a lot, they decided to turn to other artists. While Gregor was scrolling trough the names of artists, Luxa was looking at the names and one stood out.

"Who is that?" Luxa asked.

"Which one?"

"That one, Sa-Saba..." She was interrupted by Gregor.

"Sabaton? Yeah what about them?"

"The name stands out."

"If you want to find out how they sing, just say the word."

"Sure, let's see, or rather, hear."

If you want, you can choose the song." Gregor said as he handed her the phone.

She grabbed the phone and after some explaining, she understood how it worked.

She chose an album, Coat of Arms and she picked a song. The song she picked was called The Final Solution.

Gregor knew that something was up with that particular song, but he just couldn't put his finger on it. When the lyrics started, he realized.

"Wait!"

Luxa paused the song and looked puzzled at Gregor.

"What is the matter?"

"I just realized, these guys sing about important events and war. The song you picked is about the most inhumane atrocity that was committed seventy years ago."Gregor said very fast.

"Why would anyone sing about that?"

"So it wouldn't be forgotten, so we wouldn't forget of what we are capable as humans to do to each other."Gregor said, but slower this time

"What event are we talking about?"

"We're talking about The Holocaust." The Holocaust, Gregor's least favorite history subject.

"What happened?"

"A group of extremists know as the Nazis took over the country of Germany, a country in Europe."

"So what? What did they do?" Luxa asked.

"The Nazis hated to the bone the Jews. After they took power they started to gather the Jews and send them to concentration camps."

"What is a concentration camp?"

"It's just a name, they were actually extermination camps."

"How many have died?"

"A lot, the number wouldn't even make sense to you."

"How many?" She asked firmly.

"Six millions."

"M-millions? How much is one million?"

"Let me think, what's Regalia's population?"

"About two thousand five hundred people."

"All right, let's say two thousand, it's easier, a population of two thousand would fit in a million for three thousand times."

"That much?" You could tell from her voice that she was shocked."I had no idea what the humans were capable of."

"The number is not the sad part, but mostly the camps themselves, the way they died." Gregor took a deep breath before continuing." The Jews weren't just flat out shot, not they were put in rooms which were filled with toxic air, or simply burned to death." A visible tear came down his cheek. As Luxa saw this she tried to comfort him by giving him a hug.

"I am sorry for what those people did, it is truly inhumane."

"I shouldn't have told you."

"No, it is fine. That is history, we should learn from it, not hide it."

This statement did calm Gregor. She was right.

"Now we should go and get breakfast."

"Yeah."

At breakfast everyone was waiting for Gregor and Luxa. They must have been late.

"Where have you been?" Asked Vikus.

"We have been discussing Overland history." Said Luxa in her calm voice.

"The same history you have told us?"

"Not exactly." She said.

"Than what about?"

During breakfast Luxa and Gregor told Vikus about the Holocaust. By the end Vikus was stunned. He blinked a few times and tried to talk.

"I-I..."

"You don't have to say anything, it was horrible."

"We have done many bad things, but never one like that."

"Hey, I didn't want to make everyone depressed."

"You did not, but it is still a lot to process." Vikus said.

"Why are you talking about the Holocaust?" Ripred said as he barged in the room.

"How do you know about that?" Asked Gregor.

"Have I not told you about the time I used to spend in Overland libraries?"

"Oh."

"Yeah, enough of that, we're in trouble."

Did anyone expect the Holocaust to be introduced to the Underlanders in this way? No? Neither did I.

For next time, we'll get to some interesting stuff. I'll give you a hint, I have to make up a few names for the councilmen, hint enough?

Please leave a review.

Goodbye and see you next time!
