Fighting moms
FionaMo asked for a oneshot of Henry seeing his mothers squabbling yet again about how much time each of them is getting with Henry. Henry is fed up with them arguing and angrily barks at the pair of them, Pointing out that far from being permanently angry with each other, they should get along for his benefit. Especially since he lost his father and they're all he has. He storms off.
Helloitsme and Pbj: You're the same person.
"Have you suddenly become illiterate, Miss Swan? It's either that or you're as stupid as you look. Our agreement clearly states that every second Friday Henry is to come straight to my house after school. Unless Storybrooke Elementary now finishes at seven pm to catch up on lost time between curses I fail to see why Henry is just showing up now." Emma rolled her eyes.
"I have already apologised, Regina. There's no need to be so catty. I simply said I would take him for a quick ice cream since we never got to on Wednesday like we normally would for our hump day treat because you kept him longer over a stupid maths assignment!"
"Well excuse me for valuing education above sugar and dairy. Next time I will of course allow Henry to fail so he can have an ice cream with you…"
"Stop it!" Henry suddenly yelled, unable to hold it in any longer. Emma and Regina stopped immediately. It was completely unlike Henry to lose his temper. Especially with either of them. "All you guys do is fight. I'm sick of being in the middle of it. I'm supposed to be your son, both of you. Even if you don't really like each other, can you at least try to get along. Please? For me?" Henry pleaded. He couldn't take this fighting much longer. Emma and Regina looked at each other, lost for words. Was that something they could promise Henry? "Come on!" Henry shouted, becoming frustrated. "Don't you get it? You're all I have left, both of you! I lost my dad. If you two keep fighting like this, it's only a matter of time before I'm made to choose between you, permanently. It's not fair. I didn't ask for this!" Henry then grabbed his backpack and roughly slung it over his shoulder before storming up to his room. Regina and Emma watched him go, knowing going up wasn't a good idea right now. They knew he was right. For his benefit, they had to find a way to get along. The question was: how?
I won't be writing a sequel to this one :).
