JULIETTE'S EYES WIDEN in realization, "Vampire."
The second those words were uttered from her mouth, two things happened, Longshadow leaped over the bar and lunged at Sookie, and when Juliette tried to rush to her sister, Eric held her back, his hand gripping her arm tightly.
Juliette struggled slightly, but her eye caught Bill already breaking a piece of wood into a makeshift stake. Her struggles slowly ceased, worry for her sister still at the forefront of her mind, but she watched as Bill drive the stake right through Longshadow's heart.
Blood poured out of Longshadow's mouth like a fountain, splashing all over Sookie before he stumbled back, his face looking as if it was melting before exploding into pieces.
Everything was silent for a few seconds only to be broken by Juliette, "Not gonna lie that was freaking awesome!" She grins.
Sookie sighed, her head gently hitting the back of the table, Ginger vomited before starting to scream again, and Eric and Pam just rolled their eyes.
"Humans," His tone laced with exasperation and disgust, "Honestly, Bill, I don't know what you see in them."
"Could say the same thing about you, asshole," Juliette retorts, shrugging out of his hold to approach her shaking sister.
After checking if she was alright, and helping her calm down from the shock, Sookie left to go get cleaned up, while Juliette made her way to the bar, making sure to carefully sidestep the puddle of blood and vampire, a small disgusted grimace on her face.
Pouring herself from a drink on the top shelf, she hops up onto the bar, idly sipping on her drink as she watches Ginger clean up Longshadows remains.
"How did I end up with you people?" Ginger sobs, as she cleans, "Jesus. Mother Mary in Heaven," Ginger's breathing gets heavier, and she lets out a high pitched wheeze that was mixed with a scream, "I'm so sorry, Mama. I'm so sorry."
The headache from overexerting her powers was starting to come back as the adrenaline faded, and Juliette found herself getting snappy, and Gingers babbling wasn't helping.
Finally, Juliette glared down at the woman in annoyance, "Ginger, honey...shut up!" The blonde snaps, whatever expression Ginger saw on Juliette's face, was enough for the woman to let out a tiny whimper and quiet down her complaining.
The silence made Juliette sigh in relief, and take another sip of her drink, rolling her eyes when she saw Eric's approving look.
"When Ginger is finished, glamour her for me," Eric orders Pam.
Pam raises an eyebrow, "Are you sure?" She asks, but there wasn't any concern in her tone, "She's been glamoured one too many times already, who knows how much of her is even left."
"It's either that or turn her," His tone softens into one of teasing, "You want her?"
"Please, I'm not that desperate." Pam scoffs, "Glamour, it is."
"Excellent." Eric walks over to where Juliette and Bill were sitting, pausing to raise an eyebrow at the drink in Juliette's hand, but she just shrugs.
"A deals a deal."
This time it was Eric who rolled his eyes, and without replying, he looks to Bill, nodding his head, "Come, I'll buy you a blood since I'm in favour of paying for drinks tonight."
Juliette smirks at his comment and, to further annoy him, pours herself another glass of scotch. Eric ignores her little goad, and he and Bill leave.
Juliette, not wanting to be left alone with Ginger and an annoyed Pam, goes to the bathroom to check up on her sister.
"How are you holding up?" Juliette questions softly, stepping into the bathroom.
Sookie's eyes connected with hers through the mirror before she turns around, giving Juliette a small smile, "Could be better," She shrugs.
Juliette opened her mouth to try and attempt to comfort her but instead, what came out of her mouth was, "Uh-you got some vamp in your cleavage."
Sookie looks down and gasps, "Oh, god, ew."
"Allow me," Another voice purrs, and Pam steps up beside Juliette and delicately grabs the piece, her eyes gleaming with mischief as they bore into Sookie's. Sookie was so enraptured by Pam, much to Juliette's amusement, that she didn't even realize Pam had grabbed the piece and had carelessly dropped it to the floor.
It was only when Pam took a step back did Sookie blink, shaking her head as if coming out from a trance.
"Here, put these on," Pam states, holding out a black latex outfit for Sookie.
Sookie glances at Juliette for help, but she just shrugged, opting to silently watch the scene in front of her, "Thank you, but I-I'm fine, really," Sookie nervously declines, "I'm just gonna dry out my hair, and then we'll be on our way."
Pam glances at Juliette before back at Sookie, "You two aren't going anywhere, Eric and your boyfriend aren't nearly done talking just yet."
Juliette went to protest that she didn't need to be there since Bill wasn't her boyfriend, but then she remembered Eric had practically kidnapped her and brought her here, so instead, she clenched her jaw in annoyance.
Sookie's eyes widened in concern for her boyfriend, "Is Bill in some kind of trouble?"
"That's for the boys to figure out," Pam waves off, "Right now, what you need to do is change out of your clothes."
Sookie looks at the clothes in Pam's hands before looking at Juliette, the older blonde groans at the pleading look before sighing. It wasn't the worst thing her sister asked for, so she relented.
"Give em' here," Juliette huffs, grabbing the clothes from Pam and putting them to the side before starting to strip.
The gleam in Pam's eyes returned, and they burned with desire as she took in Juliette's half-naked form. Juliette quirked an eyebrow, but she doesn't say anything as she hands her wide-eyed sister her clothes and grabbing the ones Pam offered.
Juliette assumed that they were Pam's, and considering both blondes were about the same size, the clothes fit well enough except for being a little snug.
The whole time Juliette changed, Pam's eyes hadn't moved, locked into her figure. "Mhm, if only..." Pam muses to herself, silently cursing her maker for claiming the blonde for himself.
After Sookie changed into Juliette's clothes, in the privacy of the stall, the three left the bathroom and waited for Bill and Eric to finish up their talk.
It took the boys another half-hour; during that time, Juliette finished of her previous bottle of scotch, while Sookie just sat there anxiously waiting for Bill.
When they finally did emerge, Eric's eyes flashed with heat when it landed on Juliette and the tantalizing outfit she wore, but the look was gone before anyone could even notice.
Both Sookie and Juliette sighed in relief when they saw Bill but Juliette was more because she wanted to leave, and he was her ride since there was no way she was hitching a ride on 'Air Eric.'
Much to Juliette's relief, the three of them were out of Fangtasia quickly and back home in record time. Juliette ignored the pair, leaving them to trail behind her and talk, while she made her way into the house. Tiredly, she turned on the lights only to freeze when she saw blood.
Immediately, the worst-case scenario popped into her mind, and that was something that had happened to Jason. Slowly she turned around, expecting to see her twin's dead body, but there was nothing. Sookie and Bill entered, their voices trailing off as they took in the scene.
"Don't look up!" Bill exclaimed, but it was too late, and both girls let out a shriek as blood splattered onto their faces.
The next morning was more than unpleasant for Juliette. After what she saw happened to Tina, their cat, she and Sookie both decided they couldn't stay in the house that night, but instead of taking up Bill's offer for the spare room, she went to Jason's house to stay in the extra room he had for her.
Not only did she get barely any sleep thanks to Jason and his new girlfriend getting it on the entire night, but when she woke up, she woke up with a severe hangover.
She was sure it wasn't just the alcohol but a mix between that, the overuse of her powers, the stress, and sleep deprivation.
Groggily, she made her way into the kitchen, wearing only an oversized t-shirt. Jason and his girlfriend that Juliette forgot the name of were making out, ignoring them, she opens the cabinet and grabs a mug the noise making the pair jump apart in shock.
"Jules!" Jason's yelps.
The blonde just rolls her eyes and holding out her mug, "Coffee," She orders tiredly.
Jason moves to grab the mug before pausing, "Wait, if I make you some coffee, will you forgive me?" He questions.
Juliette glares up at him, but when she sees his looks, she groans, "It'll be a start," She relents, and he nods, accepting the answer and moves to pour his twin some coffee.
All while, Amanda? Annie? Looked at the pair in silent amusement. "Juliette, right?" She smiles, "Not sure of your remember, but we met. I'm Amy."
"Right, Jay's new girl," Juliette nods, her eyes sleepily drifting shut, Jason smirks at his sister before placing the cup under her nose. The strong smell immediately has her eyes flying open and grabbing the mug from her brother, taking a tiny sip, she lets out a moan, "I love you."
"Ah, I love you too, Jules," Jason smiles bashfully, waving it off.
Juliette looks up and raises an eyebrow at her brother, "I was talking to the coffee." The look on Jason's face was heartbreakingly amusing, and Juliette sighed, deciding to give her twin a small break, "I guess I love you too, Jay."
He beams down at her, and unconsciously her lips tug up to return his smile.
Despite her mood, Juliette still had work. So sucking up any complaints, she dragged her ass to the bar.
"Good evening, Juliette," Sam smiles.
"Is it ever?" She retorts, walking past them to put her stuff in the back before making her way to the bar.
Ignoring the looks sent her way, she immediately starts taking drink orders and making them. Everything was going smoothly, and Juliette had hope it would continue like that till the end of her shift, but instead, it came crashing down when Bill, Eric, Pam, and some vampire she didn't know strolled in.
"You have got to be kidding me," Juliette groans.
A smirk immediately appears on Eric's lips when his eyes land on Juliette, and much to her dismay, he saunters over.
"Well, well, an alcoholic working at a bar," He teases, resting his elbows on the bar, "So tell me what was the point of our deal when you could have a drink here whenever you want, was it because you ache to be in my company?"
Juliette returns his smirk and places her hand on Eric's, the vampire hisses as her silver ring burns him.
"Oops," Juliette bats her eyes innocently, a sly smile curling onto her lips, "Forgot that was there."
Eric glares and yanks his hand out from underneath Juliette's, his jaw clenching in slight pain. Eric lets out a small growl before moving away from the bar. He didn't approach her after that; instead, he turned his attention to promoting his club.
Juliette tuned out most of it and focused on her job, but she immediately jumped into attention when everyone let out a gasp.
She saw Eric leaning over at one of the patrons, "What did you do to your arm there...bro?" He questions, his tone low and dangerous.
Juliette slipped out from behind the bar and approached Eric; the vampire, already recognizing her scent, straightened up and turned towards her with a smirk.
"Miss my company already?" He teases.
She glares, "Look, I don't care of you promote your business but try and avoid scaring off customers, I'll even say please."
"No need to worry about that," Eric smiles, his head slightly shifting at Bill's approach, "I take it your business here is done?" He questions.
"I came to talk to Sookie," Bill snaps, and Juliette couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at his tone, Bill had always been cautious around Eric, but it seemed today he didn't care.
Eric glances at Juliette before at Sookie, "I'll give you three minutes," He finally states, "We have a tribunal to get too."
Juliette follows Sookie and Bill outside, while Eric, Pam and the other guy trail behind them.
She let the pair have their privacy and reluctantly stood with the other three.
"Tick tock, Bill," Eric taunts.
The pair ignore him, and to Juliette, it seemed Eric's comment only spurned them to be more romantic and dramatic.
"And time!" Eric states.
The pair leaning in for a passionate kiss was where Juliette drew the line with a disgusted groan. "Okay, we get it, you two fucking loved each other, but I've already seen more than enough of you too, so before I barf, break it up," Juliette calls out, her nose scrunching up at the display.
The pair ignored them.
"If I had any feelings, I'd have the chills right about now." Pam comments.
"Not me," Eric says.
Juliette glances up at him and nods, "For once, I agree with you."
Eric briefly smirks down at her before looking back at the couple with hard eyes, "Bill," Eric calls out sharply, "Now!"
Reluctantly, the pair pull away, and Bill walks over to where Juliette was standing. "Watch over her, please."
"Like you even have to ask," Juliette scoffs, and Bill gives her a small smile before walking away.
Eric pauses to give Juliette one last smirk, "Till we meet again, kæri minn.
