Name change- part 2
A guestasked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2057 "Name change" where Emma is cranky and acting up because her parents won't let her leave the table until she eats her vegetables. She tries to convince her "mama" and "daddy" to give her a grilled cheese sandwich instead.
Marissa: please provide the chapter name and number when making a sequel request.
We have finally made it Oncers! It's premiere day! Thanks for sticking with me through the hiatus, you've no idea how appreciated it is. I look forward to writing all your requests from this season, assuming you all still want to see me write :). Important: as always, if you have requests you want me to write based on the premiere, that's great! All that I ask is that you put a spoiler warning before your request as I won't be able to see the episode until Monday because I'm from the UK! Thanks guys :).
"Not a chance, Emma. You're not wasting all that food." Charming said firmly. He didn't understand where this childishness had come from. Sure, he knew vegetables weren't exactly Emma's favourite food group, but she had never outright refused to eat them. Emma folded her arms across her chest defiantly.
"Well it wouldn't have been wasted had you just not put them on there in the first place." Emma pointed out. She then looked up at him through fluttering eyelids. "Of course, you could also make me a grilled cheese." She said suddenly.
"Ha! Not a chance." Charming told her. "That's your dinner and you will be eating it, Emma Swan. If you're going to act like a child, you're going to get treated like one."
"Please, daddy?" Emma tried. Snow and Charming both looked at each other. So it appeared Emma was aware of the name changes she had made recently, but rather than stop them, she was going to try and use them to her advantage. Well, although Snow and Charming both loved the change, they weren't prepared to have it used against them.
"Emma, your father said no." Snow told her daughter coolly. "Eat your dinner, please." Emma turned her attention to Snow.
"Come on mama. Your grilled cheese sandwiches are the best." Emma tried.
"Flattery will get you nowhere, Emma." Snow told her. "I grew up a princess. You don't think people have tried that before? You've been told that's all you're getting, accept it. You either eat those green beans or this is going to be a long night for all of us." Snow warned her. Emma grumbled but began to eat the green beans.
"Stupid vegetables. Stupid doctors for claiming they're healthy. Stupid farmers in Milwaukee for growing them." Emma grumbled as she stabbed the veggies with her fork before swallowing them down like pills. Snow and Charming retrained themselves from high-fiving each other. Definite parenting win.
