When the truth comes out- part 2

Marissaasked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2054 "When the truth comes out" where She then gags them both. She says if they help her find her child, she will help them try to get Emma to forgive them. She asks if they have an agreement, and they both nod their heads. She unties them and says they will start in the morning.

Emma had refused to speak to her parents since finding out their secret a few days earlier. She hadn't even been home. She was staying on the Jolly Roger with Hook. Whenever Snow and Charming saw Henry or Hook and asked after Emma, they always said that she was fine, but they could see the awkwardness in their eyes. It was clear Emma wasn't going to forgive them any time soon. The problem was, how could they get Emma to forgive them if she refused to be so much as in the same building as them right now?

As they settled in bed that night with Neal sleeping peacefully in his crib, they knew they would not sleep as easily as their son. They were so ashamed of themselves. They wished Emma could see they were beating themselves up enough without her being mad at them thrown into the mix. As they lay there, they heard a soft whooshing sound. They looked up and their hearts plummeted to their stomachs. Maleficent was standing at the foot of their bed. They leaped out of bed and Charming grabbed Neal out of his crib, holding him protectively to his chest. Maleficent chuckled darkly.

"I am not as cruel as you, Charmings. I am not here to hurt your child." She said coolly.

"No, you already achieved that by telling Emma our secret." Snow growled. "She hasn't spoken to us since."

"Well that's hardly my fault is it?" Maleficent defended herself. "It was you who took my child. It's not my fault your daughter is intelligent enough not to fall for your pitiful excuses." Snow wasn't taking this. Maleficent couldn't just break into their home and gloat about their relationship with Emma being torn to shreds. Snow grabbed her bow from under the bed and quickly loaded an arrow, aiming it at the witch.

"We have already apologised for what happened with your child." Snow snarled. "You got your revenge. You hurt our daughter beyond words by telling her our secret. You do not break into our home in the middle of the night and expect to get away with it." Maleficent rolled her eyes. For heroes, they were awfully aggressive. With a tiny bang of her staff on the floor, Neal was back in his crib and his parents were tied down to two chairs Maleficent had conjured up.

"Neal!" Both cried out, still worried Maleficent would snatch him.

"For the last time, I am not interested in your child. I want to find my own." Maleficent said, rapidly losing her patience. "If you agree to help me find them, I can give you something in return."

"Oh yeah, because you're so trustworthy." Charming scoffed. "You're still a villain, Maleficent. A villain that we wronged. Why would you help us in exchange for helping you find the child we got lost in the first place? No deal. We're not stupid. As soon as you get a sniff of where your child is, we're dead. We can help you, we owe you that much. But for the safety of our family, we do it on our terms." Charming bargained. Maleficent sighed. Both so mouthy. Another bang of her staff and more ropes appeared, covering both Snow and Charming's mouths. That was better. They made muffled cries of outrage.

"I am only the villain that other people have made me out to be." Maleficent said quietly. "Right now, I don't care about titles. I care about finding my child. Like you said, you owe me that much. Help me find a way to contact them, and I shall do my best to convince your daughter to forgive you." Maleficent promised them. "Do we have an agreement?" Snow and Charming looked at each other. What choice did they have? After all, they did owe it to Maleficent to help her find her missing child. Plus, neither could think of any other way to try and get Emma to forgive them. So together, they slowly nodded. Maleficent smiled and banged her staff again. The ropes fell off Snow and Charming.

"Good." She said eerily. "We shall start in the morning. Oh, and no funny business. We wouldn't want Emma or Neal having any nightmares." Then as quickly as she had arrived, Maleficent left. Leaving Snow and Charming with goosebumps prickling down their arms and neck. They were about to walk a very treacherous path.
