Defending Mary Margaret- part 2

Fangirl 1121asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2059 "Defending Mary Margaret" where the whole family talk about the incident after the curse is broken.

Colds sucked. One of the worst things about them? Once one person in a household has one, it's only a matter of time before everyone living there does. So when Henry brought one home from school, within the week he had passed it to both his grandparents and to Emma. Of course he had gotten over it by the time their sniffles were just starting. But for Snow, Charming and Emma the battle had just begun, and it looked like it was going to be a long one.

"Achoo!" Charming called out as he sneezed.

"Bless you, gramps." Henry called from the couch.

"Thanks buddy." Charming mumbled as he blew his nose. He winced as he did so.

"What's wrong?" Snow asked him from where she sat, curled up with a blanket around her. "Has your nose started bleeding?" Charming shook his head, throwing the dirty tissue in the trash.

"No, it's fine. It's just never been the same since…" Charming suddenly stopped. He looked between Emma and Snow.

"Since when gramps?" Henry prompted him. He loved hearing stories from his grandparents.

"Since…well, since your mom punched me for how I treated your grandma before the curse broke." Charming answered, somewhat sheepishly. Snow, Emma and Henry all cast their minds back to that time.

"Oh yeah." Henry said. He grinned over at his mom. "That was a pretty awesome punch."

"She takes after her mother." Charming teased Snow, tapping the scar on his chin. Snow just rolled her eyes.

"Well I might have been mad with her at the time, but looking back, I'm glad our shared genetics passed that trait on. It's good Emma knows how to land a good punch."

"Agreed." Charming said. "I just wish it hadn't landed right on my nose." The family all laughed.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Emma piped up. "I guess I let my temper get the better of me, huh?"

"Maybe a little bit." Charming agreed. "But if I could go back and punch myself for how I behaved I would, so don't feel too badly about it." Snow snuggled into Charming.

"It's all in the past now." She reminded him. "It wasn't really you. Besides, I think Emma well and truly covered any payment due." Charming chuckled, kissing Snow's forehead.

"Although I will promise to try and keep my hands to myself in future." Emma joked. Charming grinned up at her.

"That would be appreciated."
