❝ Tonight I'll be having my favourite drink...it's called a lot ❞

- Unknown

THERE ARE TWO types of people in the world, the first was like Sookie, who practically flounced down the steps of the plane, looking flawless in her yellow sundress and perfectly curled hair, and then there was the type like Juliette, who looked like deaths incarnate.

She trudged after her sister, looking as if she had just woken up, which in her case was true. Unlike her dressed up sister, Juliette chose comfort over style, opting for some sweats and a t-shirt, pulling her hair back in a sloppy bun to keep it from her face.

Juliette let out a light wince when she stretched, having briefly forgotten about the healing scratches on her back. Lowering her arms, she pulls out her phone, growing when she saw she had no new messages. She had texted Claudius hoping for a response, but he'd had gone absolutely silent after his ominous warning.

"Yoohoo!" Her sister all but sung, "That's us!" She states, making her way towards their driver and showing him her little bottle of vodka, "I've always loved these, they're like booze for dolls. They gave me ten."

Juliette rolled her eyes at her sister's words, she surprisingly had forgone the alcohol, but she made sure to stack up on some miniature bottles for later. The lack of alcohol only seemed to heighten the elder Stackhouse's irritated mood, and it was shown by her grumbling and glaring.

Juliette's eyes appraised their driver, narrowing when she saw his awkward behaviour. She didn't fault a man for awkwardness, but usually, people in the business of interacting with other people were usually much more put together and professional.

"You tell I was late," He mumbled. His words were so jumbled Juliette had to strain to understand what he was saying, "Supposed to here before sundown."

Sookie, however, had no problem understanding him even in her tipsy state and just nodded, "We got delayed for take-off."

The driver nodded, "Okay, well, why don't you two go wait in the limo? I've got the a.c cranked up," He said.

Sookie went to move, but Juliette grabbed her sister's shoulder, "No, thanks, we're fine," She said, smiling sharply. Her instincts were telling her something wasn't right, and Juliette chose to listen to them.

The man's eyes darted past their shoulders for a brief second before jumping back to them. He met Juliette's eyes before quickly looking at Sookie. There was just something about the older blonde that made him more anxious than he already was.

"Oh, go on," He urged, "Uh, there's coke in there."

His words just made Juliette all the more suspicious. He sounded like a kidnapper trying to lure kids in by the promise of candy. His thoughts only confirmed that a second later.

Just get in the goddamn limo, you stupid bitches.

Sookie gasped, and the man lunged towards her, but Juliette was quick to act, pushing her sister back before grabbing the man, one hand on his shoulder the other on his head before slamming his head down into the car. He let out a shout clutching his head, but that was enough time for Bill to burst out of the coffin and rush over, holding the man by his throat.

"Make a noise, and it will be your last," Bill threatened before flashing his fangs.

It was silent for a few seconds before they all heard a muffled voice, followed by a bang.

"Hey! How the hell does this thing open?" Jessica yelled, "Somebody help get me out of here! Help!"

Both Bill and Juliette sighed.

"I'll be in the car," She grumbles.

They arrived at the Hotel Carmilla a while later, Juliette, Sookie and Bill all making their way to the front desk.

"We have a reservation under Northman," Bill smiles.

The lady smiles, "Yes, I have you down for a room with no beds," She states, and Juliette snorts at Eric's antics.

Bill huffs, grumbling, "Eric."

"No, we need a bed," Sookie smiles.

"Of course, I do have a light-lockable room with a king-sized bed..." The lady says, looking at her computer, "It's a suite, double soundproof—"

"Oh, with two adjoining rooms, one for Juliette and the other for my—" Bill cuts himself off, "What should I call her?"

He and Sookie start discussing what to call Jessica, and the lady looks at Juliette, "Juliette Stackhouse?" She questions.

Juliette hesitantly nods, and the lady gives her a professional smile, "I seem to have you already booked down for another room, a deluxe room, king-sized bed, soundproof, kitchenette. Would you like me to cancel that?" She questions.

Juliette was mildly shocked to see she had a room booked already, especially one so extravagant, but she brushed it off, thinking it was just Eric's way of trying to woo her so she would be more cooperative; besides who was she to deny such luxury.

Juliette shakes her head, "Oh, I wasn't aware, there's no need I'll take the deluxe suite," She says.

The woman gives her a nod typing something into her computer before pulling out a key card and handing it to her.

"Here's the key to your room, have a nice night." She smiles.

Juliette takes the key and turns to the couple to see the pair had been paying attention to the interaction, and with a shrug, she starts making her way over to Jessica, only to freeze as the man that tried to kidnap them starts yelling.

"Becky Eubanks is a stuck-up whore who let Chase finger her in the church!"

Juliette stood there for a second before glancing back at Bill and Sookie to see the appalled look on their faces before bursting into snickers.

"That was pretty funny," Juliette comments, taking a seat beside the redhead, who shot a beaming smile towards her.

The last few days, Jessica had grown closer to Juliette, looking up to the older woman. The young vampire admired Juliette's take no shit attitude. The blonde did what she wanted when she wanted.

A smile played at Juliette's lips as she watched the couple make their way over, their shoulders hunched in embarrassment.

"Let's go," Bill grumbles.

Juliette first went to Bill and Sookie's room, watching as they interrogated the man. Who admitted to working for the Fellowship of the Sun and was sent after her and Sookie. There wasn't much else that he could tell them, so Juliette announced that she was heading to her room.

Her luggage was already there, placed in the corner, but Juliette ignored it for the time being. Instead, she once again checked her phone, only to see no response. Rolling her eyes at the lack of response, she puts on some music before letting her hair loose and taking off her pants, and grabbing her mini vodka bottles. She drank three of them before her eyes caught the sight of a bigger bottle; it was a complimentary one from the hotel.

With a grin, she cracks it open and chugs half of the bottle, the effect hitting her in no time. Before she knows her, she's dancing if along with the music, using one of the tall lamps in the room as a makeshift dance partner, while she continues sipping the bottle that was tightly clutched in one hand.

Due to her back facing the door, coupled with the drinks, the music and her singing, she missed the door opening and shutting.

Eric, who had been the one to walk into the room, paused. Not expecting the sight he saw, he was stunned, but that quickly morphed into amusement the longer he watched.

"Upside inside out, Lovin' the Vida Loca! Push and pull you..." Juliette loudly sang off-key.

Juliette spun only to let out a startled shriek as she saw Eric. "What the fuck!" She screams, staring at Eric wide-eyed, her cheeks burning in embarrassment.

"Quite a show you put on," He comments, a teasing smile playing at his lips as he lazily strolls further into the room.

"Åh håll käften," Juliette huffs.

Oh, shut up.

Eric lets out a playful tsk, "Så oförskämt."

So rude.

Juliette rolls her eyes at his response and goes to take another sip from her bottle, only to have it snatched out of her grasp.

"Hey!" She exclaims, glaring at the vampire.

"As amusing as that was, you've had enough to drink. You smell like a goddamn distillery," Eric states, scrunching up his nose.

"And you are not my dad, so give me back my bottle," Juliette snaps annoyed, she reaches for the bottle only for Eric to move it away from her grasp.

"Call me daddy, and I just might give it back," He teases.

Juliette actually freezes as his words register before she scrunches up her face, "Oh god, keep that damn thing," She says before raising an eyebrow at him, "Why are you here anyway? This is my room."

Eric gives her a sarcastic smile, his eyes twinkling with amusement, "Didn't you know? We're roomies."

Juliette's eyes widened in horror, and she stared at Eric to see if he was telling the truth.

"No."

"Yes."

"No! No, no, no, did I mention No!" She exclaims, flailing her arms up in anger. The alcohol had done its job to loosen the tight grip she usually had on her emotions, making her much more expressive than usual.

"Why is my overwhelming sex appeal too much for you to handle?" Eric smirks.

"More like your oversized ego," Juliette scoffs before groaning when she realized there was no way she could get Eric to leave, not unless she wanted to stay with Sookie and Bill, and while she was desperate, she wasn't that desperate,

"Just don't touch my shit," She finally says, more like snaps, before swiping the bottle from him and making her way to her room and slamming the door.
