Intervention

IwKaasked for a oneshot of *6x01 spoilers!* Emma's loved ones doing an intervention for her about the tremors. She's pissed at first, but eventually breaks down and tells them about the vision.

Emma knew her tremors had been getting worse. They'd been lasting for longer periods of time and were far more violent. No amount of sessions with Jiminy could change that. Emma had just hoped that her family hadn't noticed the tremors. The last thing Emma needed was to have to explain them to her loved ones. But they had noticed. In fact, they had become so worried, not only with the tremors, but with the fact Emma refused to talk about them, that they gathered in her sitting room one day to talk to her together.

"What's going on?" Emma asked suspiciously.

"Sit down, Emma." Snow said. "We're here to talk to you." Emma looked to Hook to get a better idea, but he was avoiding eye contact with her. Emma knew that meant something big was up. Reluctantly, Emma took her place in the empty chair.

"What's this about?" Emma asked.

"I think you already know the answer to that, Emma." Charming said softly, gesturing to Emma's hands. Emma shoved them in her pockets defensively. She then got up.

"I don't have to listen to this." Emma snapped.

"Actually, you do." Charming said. He and Snow had taken precautions to make sure Emma didn't run from this. "As soon as you came in that door, you locked yourself in until Regina removes the locking spell she placed on your entire house." Charming explained. Emma shot Regina a look, but Regina just looked back calmly. She, too, knew that Emma couldn't avoid this. Grumpily, Emma sat back down.

"We'll cut to the chase." Snow said. "We know about your tremors."

"So?" Emma replied defensively. "So my hands shake a little sometimes? It's no big deal. It's just a nerve thing. You're all making such a big fuss over nothing…"

"Mom." Henry interrupted her. Emma looked over to her son. She saw the fear in his eyes. The fear she was causing. "Don't lie to us. This isn't a nerve thing. It's a magic thing. Tell us, we can help you." Emma swallowed down a lump in her throat. How could she explain to her son that he couldn't help her.

"Go on Emma." Snow urged her daughter, seeing that she was about to tell them. Emma took a few calming breaths. She couldn't keep this entire secret to herself any longer; but she didn't have to go into all the gory details with them. She could spare them that.

"It is a magic thing." She quietly admitted. "It's a vision that I keep having, a vision of the future. It's a battle I'm going to have to go through, and I have to go through it alone." Emma grimaced. "It's not going to be easy. That's why my hands keep shaking. They know what's coming." The room fell silent as they took this new information in.

"Emma, no matter how hard this battle is, we can guarantee you that you won't be facing it alone." Charming said, lacing his hand with Snow's. "We'll be with you, we all will." Emma looked around the circle and saw everyone looking at her, nodding. Emma fought hard to keep her tears at bay. She knew in the end, none of them could save her.

"I love you guys so much." Emma said quietly. Henry was the first to approach his mom. He bent down and wrapped his arms around her neck.

"We know, and we love you too." He spoke for everyone. Regina did slightly raise her eyebrows at that, but didn't say anything. "That's why we're going to help you. You just need to trust us, mom." Emma ruffled Henry's hair.

"I know kid, and I do." She assured him. She did trust Henry, she trusted all of them. But no amount of faith, trust or pixie dust was going to save her now.
