Sibling mission

Britneyasked for a oneshot of Snowing having a massive fight that leads to Charming moving in with Hook and Emma. Emma realises her dad is miserable so she and Neal conduct a plan to get their parents talking again. They trick both of them into attending a town party together and being left alone. When Emma and Neal find them again, they are dancing and laughing together.

"Do you not like daddy living with you?" Neal asked his big sister. "Because I think that would make him really sad since mommy doesn't want to live with him right now either. Where would he stay?"

"It's not that I don't like living with daddy, Neal. It's that daddy's not happy because he's not with mommy. Don't you think mommy's been sad since daddy left?" Neal thought for a moment.

"Yeah." He agreed with Emma. "She's been crying a lot, even though she pretends she hasn't when she sees me." A few days ago, for the first time in years, Snow and Charming got into an argument. They refused to tell Emma what it was about. The end result of said argument was Charming being kicked out and sleeping on Emma's sofa. Emma knew that both her parents were miserable without each other. Even though they were being too stubborn to make up with each other. Emma had a plan though. There was a small party being held at Granny's in a couple of days to celebrate a year without any villains popping up. Neither of her parents were going in fear of the other being there. If they thought the other wasn't going, they would go. Resulting in both having to face each other.

"So to get daddy back in the house with you and mommy, I need you to tell mommy that daddy's staying in on Saturday with me. Got it?" Neal nodded. He could do that. Emma would mention in passing to her dad that her mom wasn't going because she didn't want Neal out so late and couldn't find a babysitter for him. The plan was now in motion.

Emma and Neal both played their part, and as a result, both Snow and Charming ended up at the party. When they saw each other, both immediately looked over to where Emma and Neal were and gave them dirty looks. Emma grinned over, ushering her little brother out. It was best they gave their parents some space.

Emma and Neal returned to the party two hours later and peaked in the window of Granny's. They smiled at the sight. There were their parents, laughing and dancing together. As they should be. The siblings high-fived. Mission complete.
