The sun shining in the room from the window causes me to wake up earlier than I had wanted to. I look at my phone which is sitting on the nightstand beside me, the time reads seven am.

Beside me lays a sleeping Paul, a smile grows on my lips as I hear soft snores leaving his lips. He looks so peaceful the way his hair is swept out of his face— he looks so iridescent.

Careful not to wake up Paul, I slowly and quietly make my way out of the bed and into the bathroom. I close the door and splash my face with cold water to wake myself up more.

I make my way out of the bathroom and walk to the kitchen where I find a coffee pot, after making a pot of coffee I search for the mugs until I find them. Pouring myself a cup and adding in creamer I sit down at the dining room table and begin to drink it slowly.

"Good morning, gorgeous." Paul says in a tired alluring tone, I turn to him and smile shyly.

"Good morning." I say with a small chuckle following after. Paul grabs a mug from the cupboard and pours himself a cup joining me at the table.

"How did you sleep?" Paul asks, he takes a sip of his coffee and I smile.

"I slept great! Normally I wake up during the night, but that didn't happen last night." I say, Paul looks down and grins making my heart beat increase. He has the most beautiful smile.

"Good, I'm glad. I slept good too, I was really tired so I just passed out." He says. Paul looks like he's hesitant to say something, he looks almost nervous.

I smile at him in a friendly manner.

"What?"

Paul looks away nervously and then our eyes meet.

"I wanted to see if you had anything planned later today and if you didn't I wanted to invited you to La Push." He smiled showing me his perfect teeth, I could see hope in his eyes.

"No, I don't have anything planned for today. I'm off work." I happily stated. Normally on a day off I wouldn't have anyone to do anything with, I was more than happy to spend time with Paul.

"I haven't been to La Push in ages!" I exclaimed. "Quil and I used to go during the Summer when we were little before my mom and I moved away."

"I'm happy to be someone you can experience it with again." Paul says, he seems so genuine and kind. For a moment I find myself day dreaming about him, he seems to notice my zoning out.

"Are you alright?" He asks, I nod and give an awkward smile.

"Yes, I'm sorry. I just zoned out I suppose." I look down and realize I've finished my coffee, Paul looks down at his mug as well which appears to be empty.

"Would you be able to give me a ride back to my apartment?" I ask him bashfully.

"Of course. Let me throw on something else and I'll grab my keys." He says and places our now empty coffee mugs in the sink. He walks down the hallway and into his room and I get up to follow him.

"Thank you"

Making my way into his room to grab my clothes I cane with my eyes widen at the sight before me. Paul was in the process of taking his shirt off, I try to divert my eyes to look at anything else in the room as my heart beat increases and my cheeks turn pink. He catches me glancing and smirks.

"Uh," I stammer nervously. "Sorry, I was just coming to get my clothes..." My voice trails off. I quickly grab my clothes that were on the floor and I spin around on my heels to walk to the bathroom before Paul is able to speak.

My reflection in the bathroom mirror has rose colored cheeks from the alluring sight I had just seen. I smile and shake my head at myself, get ahold of yourself. I mentally scold myself.

As I quickly change into my clothes and neatly fold the clothes Paul let me sleep in, I make my way out of the bathroom to find Paul in his bedroom on his phone. He looks up and smiles at me causing my heart to beat quickly.

"Where should I put these?" I ask politely referring to the clothes I had slept in the previous night.

"Don't worry about it, just set them on the bed. I'll put them in the hamper when I get back." Paul answers, he gives me a warm smile and he grabs his car keys.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

I slip on my boots and we make our way out of the front door. Paul and I get in his silver Honda Accord and we head down the road as I give him directions to my apartment.

I never actually planned on many people knowing where I live but I felt like I could trust Paul, he seems so genuine and down to Earth. A cheerful song comes on the radio by The Lumineers and I softly bob my head to the music, I hear a small chuckle coming from Paul's direction and I glance over at him to see a smile

"You're cute whenever you do that." He states keeping his eyes fixated on the road. My cheeks feel warm at his words.

"I was trying to be subtle." I reply, I look down and smile feeling slightly embarrassed at my head bobbing.

"Don't be, it's a good song!" Paul exclaims, he turns the radio up to a loud but bearable volume and begins to playfully shout-sing the lyrics causing me to laugh.

"I belong with you, you belong with me, you're my sweetheart! I belong with you, you belong with me, you're my sweetheart!"

"I admire your confidence." I giggle and he grins turning the radio back down to a softer volume.

"Let's face it, I can't hit a note to save my life." He states, "But it's fun."

I smile at his words, enjoying his company and his humor. I don't want to say goodbye though I know I have to. Paul pulls into my apartment complex and puts the car in park. We turn to each other and I smile at him in which he returns the kind gesture. Being around him makes me happy and I've only truly spent time with him this once aside from last night at the diner.

"Thank you for letting me stay with you last night," I say. "I had a lot of fun."

"I had fun too, how does three pm today sound for La Push?" Paul asks me, his brown eyes are so warm and inviting.

"That works perfectly." I smile at him and get out of the car. Paul gets out of the car as well and comes around to my side.

To my surprise, he pulls me in for a gentle hug causing a soft gasp to escape my lips.

He feels so warm and this feels so nice being in his embrace like this. We break apart and I smile shyly.

"I'll see you later." I say as I turn to walk away.

"See you later!" Paul calls from behind me.

I make my way inside my apartment and I head for the shower. After my shower and my teeth are brushed I grab some fruit from the fridge to munch on. My phone buzzes in my purse and I grab it to see who texted me, it's from Quil.

Hey, where did you and Paul go last night?

We ended up crashing at his place. What's up?

Quil responded a few minutes afterwards.

I just wanted to make sure everything was alright. Talk later.

I put my phone down and went to throw my clothes in the wash. I frowned softly when I realized I had forgotten something at Paul's house this morning, I forgot my jacket. Grabbing my phone, I go to send Paul a text message.

I forgot my jacket at your house this morning, would you mind bringing it with you later today?

Sure. No worries.

I smile to myself and curl up on my couch, I'm beginning to feel tired from my lack of sleep and it's barely nine am. I close my eyes and feel myself drift off to sleep for a much needed power nap before I go to La Push with Paul later.
