Food poisoning

Serena asked for a oneshot of (I'll just write this for you as it's own chapter as it doesn't really link, but thank you for putting in the chapter name and number :) ) Snowing having food poisoning and Emma taking care of them.

"Again…sorry." Emma said as she held a bucket under her mom's chin for her to throw up in. The toilet was occupied by her dad…who was also throwing up.

"It's ok." Snow said gently. She put on a small smile for Emma's sake. "I just don't get how you're not sick too." Emma grimaced at this.

"I've been eating my own cooking since I was young. My body's had a chance to adapt to my own inability to feed myself. I maybe should have thought about that before offering to cook you guys dinner. It seems I've done more harm than good." Snow and Emma heard the toilet flush before Charming hobbled out of the bathroom, his face an unhealthy shade of green. He managed to get to the couch before collapsing before Snow. Emma then recovered them both with the blanket.

"I've put the kettle on so you guys can have some tea. It might help settle your stomachs." Emma explained. "You need to start eating again, so I've bought some tinned soup. Even I can't go wrong with that. You'll need to eat to take that medicine Whale gave you anyway. You've to take that twice a day with food." Emma explained. She had memorised the instructions so she made sure the medication was taken correctly. Charming smiled up at her.

"Well it's a few years earlier than most adult children, but you're doing a good job of taking care of us Em." He praised her. Emma smiled sheepishly.

"I wouldn't have to take care of you in the first place if I hadn't poisoned you." She pointed out. Charming took her hand.

"Emma, it was an easy mistake. You didn't mean it. We're not mad at you, and you're more than making up for it now…" Emma saw her dad gag. She quickly got the bucket to him before he vomited right into it.

"See." Charming said when he was done. "Not even flinching at the puke. Pro house nurse." He praised her. Emma still wasn't so sure. She didn't know many nurses who got their patients sick before taking care of them!
