"So what are you and Martha up to while Frederick and I were doing maths?" Georg asked as he and Elisabeth sat together on the bench, waiting for Frederick and Martha as they went to buy ice cream.

Elisabeth smiled as she strummed the guitar, "I was just teaching her a song. Frederick and I talked about helping you teach her to sing. We three can sing together for Aunt Margaretta.. but we need your help."

"How can I help?" Georg asked.

Elisabeth took a deep breath as she said, "Mother would hit the roof if she found out we taught Martha how to sing, especially when she hear us singing… We're just asking you to- well- to distract her for a while. We can't stay up until ten, and mother's always drilling us to studies- though we're actually very advanced as I may say."

Georg nodded, "Understandable.. but Elisabeth, you have to know that you should not fear your mother, especially if her wrath is for something she should be proud of."

Elisabeth smiled as bit as Frederick and Martha approached them with four ice cream containers.

"Now you two.. I just said three." Georg mocked-groan as Martha gave him the mint colored one.

"You can't treat us with ice cream without treating yourself." Frederick said as he handed Elisabeth the light brown and Georg his card.

Martha sat beside Georg as she hurriedly opened her container and scooped a big bite, quickly regretting it as she looked at Georg with wide eyes.

Georg, not knowing what she did, looked at the twins as Elisabeth patted her sister, "Just spit it out, Martha."

Martha shook her head as she held on her spoon tighter.

Frederick looked at Georg as he mouthed, "First time." before taking a big scoop on his chocolate and patting Martha.

He fanned himself as he spat it out.

Martha nodded as she slowly imitated what her brother did and took a big breath.

They ended up laughing about it as Martha learned how to eat ice cream properly. The laughter between the twins died down when they saw a familiar face on the street.

Georg noticed this and trailed their gaze, and found it pointed to a couple at the opposite street, both seemed to be the same age as the two.

Martha continued eating her cookies and cream ice cream, unaware of the situation as the twins whisper to each other, both audible enough to be heard by Georg.

"Isn't that Georgina?" asked Elisabeth.

"And I can see she's with the bike boy." Frederick mumbled.

"Frederick, that bike boy has a name and that's Rolfeus." Elisabeth said as she took a bite on her cookie dough ice cream.

"Watch your eyes, Lis. That's PDA.." Frederick said as he fixed his eyes on the rock he's been playing with his foot.

"I don't care if they're kissing.. now I know he's gross." Elisabeth sneered as she kicked the rock he's playing with, and the other rocks near it as she took more of her ice cream.

"Ooooohh! Elisabeth is jelly." Frederick teased as Elisabeth brushed him off, "You don't care about Georgina?"

"She can snog whoever she wants. We're never together anyway.. she can't stand my charm." Frederick smirked.

"You mean your ego and your current life quarantined to home." Elisabeth chuckled as she sighed, "I don't know why it's easy for you boys to move on."

"Oh believe me it's harder than you imagine." Frederick muttered, "We're not really just dramatic like you girls."

"Not this girl." Elisabeth shrugged as she quickly finished her food and dumped it to the nearest trash can.

Georg smirked as he watched the two exchange words. For some reason, that made him miss his own sister.

After all… he took another scoop on his mint chocolate, Hede have this same personality with Ms. Rainier and Elisabeth that come to terms on loving to argue and play a lot.

Now remembering his employer, he checked his phone to see if the gardeners have some news for him.

None- oh wait there's one… he thought as he read the new message.

"Get back in here- Mrs. Rainier's back."

Georg quickly stood up as he got the attention of the children, "Let's get you home."

"Why, Professor Georg?" Elisabeth asked, adapting Martha's nickname, as she and her siblings quickly followed him to his car.

Three words from Georg and the three are quickly inside his car.

"Your mother's home."

How dare he… Maria mused as she tried to control her scowling face, where on earth did he bring my children?

Margaretta watched with amusement as Maria paced on the front door with her small steps, finding it funny that she has this 'trying-to-look-in-control' face when in fact it looked like someone's face after losing a flying balloon.

"Have you tried on calling him?" Margaretta asked.

"Thirty-seven times. He didn't answer any of it." Maria groaned.

"Probably-"

"Probably- trying to tell me that he's still not comfortable teaching at a damn library so he taught them somewhere I would never approve. Probably- erasing the well built discipline I've established to the children. Probably- trying to get rid… of me because he knows what will happen once he answers the bloody phone." Maria snapped as she emphasized her words.

Hearing another car on the gates, Margaretta stood beside Maria who stopped pacing and stood still with her arms folded on her chest as they waited for the car.

"Remember, Maria.. calm down. Maybe there's a reasonable explanation for this." Margaretta whispered as Maria whispers back a 'shut up.' while the children hurriedly left the car and stood still in front of their mother.

They seemed to have slight relief expressions.

Probably because of me… Margaretta thought as she watched the new teacher left the car, Damn it.. she's right about him not looking like a teacher.

Maria walked to inspect the children, she carefully brushed Martha's coat, revealing stains on her clothes. She looked at Frederick and noticed his ruffled hair, and stared at Elisabeth, shaking her head as she said, or shouted:

"Go inside, clean up, change your clothes and report to my office!"

Georg slightly shook his head, disappointed on how she treated her children as he made his way back to his car, but he was stopped.

"No- Mr. Von Trapp. Francis can park that- vehicle- later. You'll go with me to my office." she said as she started walking inside the house.

"You'd better follow her… but just a warning, she bites like a dragon." Margaretta said.

"Thank you... Ms. Böhm- I presume. In the meantime I think you'll see the children while the dragon roast me on her fire?" he whispered as they made their way inside.

"If that's a way to tell me that they have something for me- then maybe I should do then." Margaretta smiled as she patted his shoulders, "Goodluck, mere stranger."

"Thanks- mere stranger." Georg said as he and the woman parted ways. He to Ms. Rainier's office and her to the children's room.

Following ten steps behind Maria, he can feel her rage from where she is to where he is. Will he get fired? He hoped not. Probably he have to give her a lesson this time to avoid that.

Entering her office, Maria waited for him as he finally entered.

"Close the door." she said, her voice booming around the room as he did so.

Georg stood, imitating his military stand, as he looked straight at her. Her who's leaning on her desk, her arms crossed on her chest and her brown coat draped on her shoulders, slightly complementing her black pencil skirt and black turtleneck sleeveless top.

Looks like my mingling with Elsa helped me in describing women's clothes after all… he thought to himself.

"Now, Mr. Von Trapp…. I want a truthful answer from you." she said with controlled firm in her voice.

"Yes, Ms. Rainier?" he asked.

"Is it possible, or could I have just imagined it… Have I seen a stain of cookies and cream on Martha's clothes?" she asked.

Is that it? Georg thought.

"Yes, Ms. Rainier." he answered.

Maria nodded as she straightened up, "I see. And where, may I ask, have you been?"

"At the park, giving them a lesson about avoiding brain freeze and how to eat an ice cream."

That made Maria's arms fall as she glared at him, "At the park?"

"We've been there yesterday morning, Martha got a liking to the slides so we visited again." Georg said.

Maria slowly made a step forward as she asked, "Are you telling me that my children have been roaming around the park and eating ice cream at this time when they are supposed to be studying?"

Georg hummed 'yes' as he added, "And having a marvelous time."

"It's still school hours." Maria coldly sneered.

"We've finished the lessons early and the current lessons are already advanced." Georg said.

"Well you could have just left them alone, then." Maria snapped.

"And look stupid on a park alone with tons of children- forgive me, Ms. Rainier but the agenda on the park is for Martha to play and-"

"Martha is not one of your students." Maria snapped again.

Georg looked at her as he said, "Well the twins enjoyed a cool winter breeze with their-"

"-I'm not hearing this." she interrupted but he still kept going.

"-reunion to their favorites and almost forgotten memories. It would be rude if we left Martha alone-"

"-I. am. not. hearing. this!" Maria shouted, emphasizing every word as he shouted back.

"I know you don't, but you've got to!" Georg shouted back as he lowered his voice and spoke without care for her interruptions, "Now think about Elisabeth… she'll..."

"Not a word about my daughter, Von Trapp-"

"... soon grow quicker than any teenager I've met and no one's there to be a proper model for her. And look at Frederick he's…"

"I said- not a word about my-"

"... doing the same thing and I wouldn't be surprised if he turned his back on you in the future."

"Don't you dare say-"

"And about Martha- she just wants to be loved and not ignored like a-"

"I don't care to hear more." Maria said as she turned her back.

"I am not done yet, Maria!" Georg shouted.

Maria turned quickly as she shouted back, "Oh yes, Dominik.. You are already done!"

Her slip made both of them stiff like ice for seconds as she corrected:

"Von Trapp…"

Georg thought he saw a hint of grief, sadness, despair and suffering in her eyes but she blinked and glared at him.

"Now, you will pack your things and in thirty minutes I don't want you-"

She stopped and the room was filled with muffled strumming.

Looking around she asked, "What was that?"

Hearing the faint sound, Georg mumbled, "It's guitar,"

"I'm know it's guitar.. but who's-"

"Probably Elisabeth." Georg mumbled.

'"Probably Elisabeth?" Maria echoed as a voice was heard.

'I Have a Dream, a song to sing

To help me cope, with anything'

"And that's probably Frederick." Georg said as she hurried out of her office, rushing to follow the sound with a face he can't describe well enough.

But he made no move because that face doesn't show any signs of roof hitting.

Sighing, Georg followed her, ten steps behind as her. Hoping she'll realize that she was wrong and he's right.
