Truce
A guest asked for a oneshot of Snowing asking Maleficent for a truce seeing as their daughters are best friends. Maleficent agrees for Lily's sake, but also because she doesn't blame Emma for what happened.
"Well I'm here." Maleficent said coolly. "To what do I owe the pleasure of such a generous invitation?" Snow and Charming stood opposite the witch in the middle of Main Street well after dark.
"We want to arrange a truce with you." Snow answered her simply. "You have your daughter back in your life, and now Emma is speaking to us again after finding out our secret. We're asking you to call an end to this now. Our daughters have suffered enough. We have suffered enough."
"Emma and Lily were best friends at one point, Maleficent. Surely you wouldn't wish harm upon one of Lily's friends?" Charming added. Maleficent smirked. So they still thought so little of her?
"I have never blamed your daughter for what you did to Lily. Even I am not so evil as to blame an unborn child for the deceit of her parents. What I do blame her for is killing me, which you can understand me having a slight grudge over." Snow and Charming tensed at this. They were prepared to fight Maleficent again in order to keep Emma safe, but it wasn't something they wanted to do. "Relax. For once, you're right about something. Lily and Emma were friends in their youth, and they seem happy to have found each other again. I don't want to take that away from my daughter. I just ask that you two leave us be. Lily may like Emma, but it is clear as day to me that she still resents you for what happened. Which, again, I'm sure you'll understand." Snow and Charming nodded, ashamed. They would always be ashamed of themselves for what they did to Lily. "Good. Then we have come to an agreement. I'll stay away from your daughter, and you stay away from mine." And with that, she vanished in a cloud of green smoke. Snow and Charming looked at each other. They couldn't believe it had been that simple. Maybe Maleficent really had changed.
