PoA: Hello everybody! This is my first fanfic, and any constructive criticism would be helpful. Yes, I had the nerve to put myself in the story. I actually named my account after the character. This was a collaboration with Amber of Apollo, and yes I had the nerve to put her in the story too. Deal with it. P.S. This mostly takes place in Toronto 'cause I live there, and it's easier for me to describe.

Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo, or any ships. I do, however, own Misce.

Chapter 1

Topaz

Viola watched her own home in America grow farther and farther away. She was sad, but she knew this was to protect her brother. Tía would use the Mist to cover everything and make him think she never existed. At most, she would be a simple figment of his imagination. Tía Callida hugged Viola from behind. "We're almost there, mi amora." Viola turned to face Toronto. Now was no time to dwell on the past. It was time to face the future.

Time skip (tribute to Bianca)

(seven years in the future)

[Camp Miche]

"Six must travel through the Owl's head,

To bring back Lightning from the lands of the dead

Twin Forges, together, break the curse,

Of endless winter through the earth

Two Shadows, alone, scout the fields,

And force each demon there to yield

Dove brings Lightning back to land,

But one last person stays behind

Yet soon before the sunrise,

Comes an unexpected surprise."

Amber's eyes closed, and Platinum, Goldie, and Topaz went to steady her before she fell out of her chair.

"Bringing back Lightning? Sapphire's still here." said Goldie, seeming confused.

"Maybe we could ask Obsidian or Hummingbird. It's probably someone from the other camps." said Platinum, after a minute.

Topaz, for once, said nothing. She could only think about the third line. She couldn't help remembering her brother, back when she was simply Viola Valdez, a carefree, happy girl. The brother she left behind to protect, so he wouldn't have to face the reality of his family...

Platinum: Hi again everybody! Thanks for reading, and please review. I'm always open to new ideas! Anything you don't understand here will (probably) be revealed in the following chapters. Thanks again!
