Drowning her sorrows- part 2

IwKa asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2080 "Drowning her sorrows" where, despite everyone's efforts, Henry heard what Emma said and was hurt by it. Regina yells at Emma, telling her she's acting like a child. Emma doesn't seem to care, she's still out of it. Her parents convince her to get help.

Nobody was to know that Henry was right outside when Emma began her drunken speech. He had heard how his mom claimed she was better off before he found her. Basically, how she regretted him making contact with her. It didn't take Regina long to work out that Henry had overheard Emma's rambles, so she pounded on Emma's door the next day to give her what for. She had only manage to get out that Emma was acting like a child when she realised that she had done it again. Once more, Emma had gotten herself into a right state. Regina couldn't handle her like this, so she got Killian.

Killian had to admit to Emma that he was disappointed in her for dealing with her problems like this, rather than telling somebody. All he got back from Emma in return was abuse. So Killian called in the big guns; he got her parents.

Snow and Charming were too disappointed that Emma had gone down this path again.

"Emma." Charming sighed. "This isn't good for you, honey. You're doing neither your body, or your emotions, any favours by drinking yourself into oblivion."

"Well it makes me feel better." Emma spat. Clearly none of their conversation from yesterday had sunk in.

"Maybe for a few hours, but what happens when the effects of the drink start to wear off, Emma?" Snow asked. "You drink some more? Get a little more drunk? How long does that go on for? Until your liver packs in and you need a transplant? Or do you just keep on going until you drink yourself into an early grave? Well let me tell you something, Emma Swan. We're not letting that be the way your story plays out. Not our daughter. I don't know what's got you into this mess in the first place, but whatever it is, it can be sorted." Emma couldn't look at either of her parents. No, this really couldn't be sorted.

"Even if you won't talk about it with us, at least go talk to someone else?" Charming pleaded with her. "Jiminy, Blue, heck, even Whale. Just someone, Emma." Emma supposed she could at least do that, so she nodded. Snow pulled Emma close to her.

"It's going to be ok." She promised her daughter, although she didn't know what she was promising would be ok. Emma didn't respond. She just let herself be lost in the hug. Who knew how many more hugs she would be able to get from those she loved? She was a ticking time bomb, and nobody could stop it.
