Hello all Storm here with a new story! Though not an actual new story, a rewrite of an old one. With this being a rewrite of "Naruto: Saiyan Resurgence" having been given a new start to make it better than the original. So, without further ado.

I own nothing

High in the sky, above the Elemental Nations, was a large Lookout platform, hovering in the air, above a large tower. This place was known simply as The Lookout, where the Guardian of the planet resides, while watching over various events of the world.

Standing on the edge of The Lookout, was a ten-year-old boy with spiky dark black hair, lightly tanned skin, three unique whisker marks on each cheek, wearing red boots with black lining and laces, black pants, a dark red short-sleeved shirt under a black Gi, a red obi tied around his waist, and dark red wristbands. With the boy's most unique feature being the brown monkey tail, sprouting from his tailbone.

This is Son Naruto, a Saiyan, and one of the first in several thousand years.

Hearing footsteps coming towards him, Naruto looked and saw his teachers, who helped train him to fight. One being the elderly Guardian of the world, Dende, and the second was Mr. Popo. Naruto had met them four-years-ago, when he first arrived on The Lookout to train under them, after awakening his Saiyan heritage.

'Huh, it's really been four years, already.' Naruto thought, surprised to realize that four years have already passed by, since that day.

The day he had been abandoned by his own family and clan.

To understand what Naruto meant, one would have to go back to the day he and his siblings were born.

From what Naruto had been told, the night he along with his sister, Miso, and "brother", Arashi, had been born, a Masked Man with the Sharingan had shown and taken their mother, Kushina Uzumaki, hostage, before releasing the Kyūbi no Yōko, that was once sealed within her. With the Masked Man then having the Kyūbi attack Konoha, after placing it under his control, while the triplets father, Minato Namikaze, the Yondaime Hokage, had gotten them and Kushina to safety, before going to confront the Masked Man.

Minato managed to drive the Masked Man off, and free the Kyūbi from his control, before teleporting the Kyūbi away, while bringing his wife and children to the location, to seal the fox away. With the Yondaime using the Dead Demon Consuming Seal and the Eight Trigrams Seal, to seal the Yin and Yang Halves of the Kyūbi in Miso and Arashi, respectively. Along with sealing a portion of the Kyūbi's Chakra into Kushina, saving her from dying from the extraction.

Though while he had managed to stop the Kyūbi, Minato did so at the cost of his own life, with his soul being trapped within the Shinigami's stomach.

When they had gotten back to Konoha, Miso and Arashi were hailed as heroes for holding back the Kyūbi. Naruto on the other hand, was hated and ignored, not due to any connection to the Kyūbi. It was because Naruto didn't have any Chakra, not in the sense that he couldn't use it, but he literally didn't have a single drop of it, in his body.

Given how Chakra has become a life-force for the people of the Elemental Nations, to learn that someone was born without an ounce of it in their body, it was foreign and unnatural to them. Leading to Naruto being viewed as a freak, an abomination that shouldn't exist, and a stain on their late Yondaime's family name.

Even his own family and clan, the survivors of the destruction of Uzushiogakure, having either been found, or came to Konoha on their own, looked down on him with contempt and disgust. His "brother" openly taunting and making fun of him, while his mother never did anything to help him. In fact, she went out of her way to ignore him, always being distant, and when she couldn't, just regarded him coldly, as if he wasn't her child.

Thinking about it made Naruto shake his head, remembering the stories he's heard about how his mother was once a strong-willed Kunoichi with a terrifying temper, who'd go to any lengths if it meant protecting her friends and family. But for his entire life, he's only ever known a cold and distant woman, who couldn't give less of a damn about him. And despite being the Uzumaki Clan Head, she's been nothing but a figure-head for the Uzumaki Clan Elders, to do whatever they want, like making sure he knew he wasn't wanted, every moment they could.

Though he had also heard rumors that after his father died, his mother became a broken shell of who she once was. He just wished she still had the strength to stand up for her own son, instead of acting like they weren't related.

The only one that didn't hate him, was his sister, Miso, who still loved him and stood up for him against the children that made fun of him.

Aside from Miso, Naruto only had a handful of people, that he actually cared about in Konoha. The Ichiraku Family, Kakashi Hatake, Might Gai, Mikoto Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Shisui Uchiha, Izumi Uchiha, Satsuki Uchiha, Rock Lee, Chōji Akimichi, Shikamaru Nara, and Shino Aburame.

He was also on good terms with the latter threes parents, the Sandaime Hokage, Asuma Sarutobi, and Fugaku Uchiha. Though he wasn't as close to them, as the others. Merely being cordial, since they didn't look down on him, or hate him, for his lack of Chakra.

With Gai, Itachi, Shisui, Izumi and Kakashi having also helped train Naruto to defend himself, despite his disability, so he could still fight without Chakra.

Then came the day, when the Fire Daimyo had offered the Uzumaki clan the chance to come live within the Fire Capital. With the Elders being more than happy to jump at the chance to get closer to the Daimyo. Though that's when Naruto learned that while the rest of the Uzumaki Clan would be going, while he was being left in Konoha.

Naruto would admit that he had begged his mother not to leave him behind, a childish part of him still hoping that his mother cared about him. But that hope was crushed when Kushina just gave him that same cold look, before turning her back on him.

That was the moment, when Naruto stopped seeing Kushina Uzumaki as his mother, or any of the Uzumaki Clan, besides Miso, as family. Now, they were just people he despised with his entire being.

He had also discarded the Uzumaki name, refusing to be associated with those humans anymore.

Arashi, meanwhile, had laughed and gloated at how they didn't have to deal with the "deadweight", anymore. While Miso was the only who tried fighting to let Naruto come with them, or tried staying with him, only to be forced to leave, anyway. The last time Naruto saw his sister, was her crying and reaching out to him, which only made his hatred for the Uzumaki Clan grow.

It wasn't long after the Uzumaki Clan had left, that Naruto had awoken a long dormant trait within himself. Which he would later believe was due to the Kyūbi's Chakra he was exposed to, prior to his and his siblings birth. Which was, ironically, the very reason he didn't have Chakra to begin with.

It hadn't even been a month after the Uzumaki had left, with Naruto suffering from the stress of he was supposed to do now, that he was alone. The villagers had now taken the chance to attack Naruto, given he now no longer had the protection of his family or clan, they took the chance to show the "abomination" his place.

Naruto could still remember it in vivid detail, being punched, kicked, stabbed, cut, every wound made his anger grow. Anger at his mother for never helping him, anger at his arrogant bastard of a brother for always looking down on him, anger at the Uzumaki for taking his sister away, and anger at the villagers for attacking him for something he didn't have control of.

His anger built up, until finally, Naruto couldn't take it anymore and something inside finally broke free, his Saiyan heritage. The awakening of his Saiyan heritage caused Naruto's hair and eyes to turn dark black, a monkey tail to sprout from his tailbone, and accessing his Ki. With Naruto instinctively launching a large Ki Blast at his attackers, killing them instantly.

When Naruto had calmed down, he had been horrified to see what he had done. Not at the fact that he killed the assholes who attacked him, he only regretted not making that last longer. He was horrified at what the villagers would do to him, when they found out what happened.

This lead Naruto to quickly flee Konoha, to save his own life, eventually leaving the Land of Fire, entirely. With the new Saiyan traveling the Elemental Nations, learning about and training his new abilities. Along with ridding himself of that damn weakness, where he's paralyzed and rendered helpless, if someone grabs his tail.

Naruto refused to have such an obvious weakness, and would have likely cut his tail off, if he couldn't get rid of it.

It was during his travels, that Naruto eventually stumbled upon the ruins of Capsule Corp, which had been in surprisingly good shape, despite having been abandoned for thousands of years. It was there, that Naruto had finally learned about what he was, and the abilities he now had.

He was a Saiyan, the first one to exist in over a millennium, maybe even longer. With Naruto learning that he was a direct descendant of the Saiyans, Son Goku and Vegeta, the two strongest in the universe. After learning this, Naruto had stayed in Capsule Corp for a while, only going out, when he needed to get food, water, and other supplies. Along with adopting Goku's last name, thus becoming Son Naruto.

While there, Naruto had learned some of his ancestor's abilities, along with working on the machinery, he could get working again. Having developed a talent and fascination for mechanics, with how he tinkered with the stuff in the ruins. Even managing to find the remains of the Gravity Chamber, and build his own version, that he keeps stored in a capsule.

Unfortunately, given how long it's been, since anyone had been there, some of the data had become corrupted, while the notes that had been taken, were indecipherable from age. Leading to Naruto being unable to learn everything he could, about his ancestors.

Thankfully, some of the data that was salvageable, was the location of Korin's Tower and The Lookout, with Naruto heading there to see if it was still being inhabited. When Naruto had climbed to the top of the tower, he had first been greeted by a now elderly Yajirobe, who had become the new guardian of the Senzu Beans in place of Korin, with him giving Naruto some after learning that he was Goku's descendant.

Naruto had also drunk the Ultra Divine Water, getting an increase in power from it, along with granting him greater Zenkai Boosts, from the time Goku drank the water.

Afterwards, Naruto had continued on his way up the tower, and to The Lookout, where he met elderly Guardian, Dende, and Mr. Popo. It was then that Naruto had begun his training, which had absolute hell!

It was pure sadism, complete and utter torture, the pain and agony that Naruto had suffered from, was something he would never forget. But that had just pushed Naruto to train harder, given the sooner he completed his training, the sooner he could get away from that maniac, Mr. Popo.

Along with blaming him for helping develop Naruto's more sadistic side.

And Naruto had eventually completed his training, with him being pleased to have unlocked the Super Saiyan Transformation and Super Saiyan Grade 2. Making it so he was now the strongest being on the planet, and if he wanted to, could reduce it to dust.

All in all, Naruto knew he was now one of, if not the, strongest being on the planet. But he also knew, that in the grand scheme of things, he wasn't the strongest in the galaxy, with there still being plenty of beings who could crush him, without lifting a finger. Though that did nothing to deter Naruto, only being another reason to get stronger and show the universe that no matter what, the Saiyans are the strongest fighters in existence.

Shaking his head of those thoughts for the moment, Naruto looked at his teachers

"Is there something you needed Dende, Mr. Popo?" Naruto asked, wondering if they needed from for something.

"Naruto, I am proud to say that after four years, your training under us has long since been completed. But even with everything we've taught you, you still have much to learn, and have a long way to go, if you wish to keep growing. And to do that, I believe it'd be best, if you returned to the Elemental Nations, particular to Konoha." Dende said, with Naruto looking at him in confusion at the last part.

While he saw no problem returning to the Elemental Nations, since he might find someone who can give him a decent challenge. Naruto really didn't like the idea of ever returning to Konoha, as while he may have people that he cares about, there. He still despised the village, as a whole.

Plus, from what he's seen of recent events, his former family would also be returning soon, giving Naruto even more of a reason not to go back. Since if someone said anything that pissed him off, nothing would stop Naruto to wiping Konoha, and the Land of Fire, off the face of the planet.

"Wouldn't it be better if I just left the planet, to explore the universe? Find beings that could actually provide me a challenge?" Naruto said, thinking that'd be the better option, especially since his Gravity Chamber also functioned as a ship.

Only for Dende to shake his head.

"Perhaps that could help you grow stronger physically, but not mentally. If you ever wish to become truly stronger, you must confront your past Naruto, and move pass it. Otherwise, all that anger, that rage, that bitterness you've kept locked within you, it will grow and keep growing, until it turns you into something else. Something you wouldn't even recognize as you, anymore." Dende said, knowing while Naruto didn't show it, and said he was fine, that he was over it, he still had plenty of anger and hatred to those who abandoned, and hated him.

And if he didn't resolve those feelings, Dende feared that Naruto might turn into a threat far worse than anything the Z-Fighters faced, in their lives.

"Seriously, you're still on about that? I've already before, I don't care about those weaklings, and I don't need to move past any-"

"Pecking order." Mr. Popo stated with his usual creepy smile.

Not a moment later Naruto took off back towards Konoha, screaming in fear.

After a few moments of Naruto flying away from Mr. Popo's implied threat, both Dende and Mr. Popo started laughing loudly at his reaction.

"Ahahahahahaha! Aaaah, that never gets old." Dende said, while smirking.

"Yes, I actually have to admit, this was rather fun." Said Mr. Popo, as the Guardian and his assistant thought over their little prank.

They've both been isolated on The Lookout for thousands of years, with all their friends and their descendants long since passing on, leaving them with only each other as company. But while Dende loved being the Guardian and enjoyed Mr. Popo's company. After thousands of years of no outside visitors, it eventually became very boring, just doing the same thing, every day. Even the usually calm and serene Mr. Popo became bored of no visitors showing up, anymore.

Though they soon found a solution to this and devised a prank to pull on anyone that comes to The Lookout. Now any time someone does find The Lookout, and climb to the top to request training, Popo would take on the guise of a sadistic, sociopathic, drill sergeant from the deepest pits of hell. One who relished in his pupils' pain and misery, with even the planet's god being subservient to him.

They even added in some magic and illusions to really sell the act. And while the training was brutal, especially compared to what Goku and the others went through. They made sure that it was actually completely harmless, and at worse, would give any would-be students a good scare.

Plus, it turns out to be a good motivator for their students to not slack off, and complete it as soon as possible, to escape Mr. Popo.

After calming down their laughter, Dende and Mr. Popo looked to where Naruto had flown off, proud of how far he's come, since first arriving here. It reminded them of old days, with the adventures Goku and his friends went on in their lives.

Ranging from stopping Vegeta and Nappa, travelling to Namek and fighting Frieza, the arrival of the Androids and the Cell Games, then Majin Buu being awoken. Then the events of Goku being de-aged by the Black Star Dragon Balls, going against Baby, Super Seventeen, and finally, facing off against the Shadow Dragons, with Goku going off with Shenron as the Dragon Balls recharged their power and fully dispel the negative energy in them.

Now they knew it was Naruto's time for his own adventures, and something told the Guardian and his assistant, that Naruto's would be even crazier than Goku's.

Meanwhile, unknown to them a transparent person floated above The Lookout, looking off to where Naruto flew, with a grin on his face.

'Man, he's really strong for his age. But given he's descended from me and Vegeta, it's not too surprising. I bet he's gonna go on some wild adventures.' Thought Son Goku, while looking off where his descendant flew off before his spirit vanished.

*With Naruto*

Meanwhile, Naruto had flown back to Capsule Corp, now having calmed down from Popo's threat, wanting to gather a few things.

Once that was done, Naruto flew off again, with it not taking long, until he arrived at Konoha. Landing just outside the village, and their border patrol.

Looking at the wooden gates, Naruto took a deep breath, tempted to just leave this damn village, and never see it again. But he's a Saiyan and had his pride, which made it so he couldn't turn back until he proved to Dende, and himself, that has put his past behind him.

'And if anyone gets in my way, I'll show them what happens when you challenge a Saiyan.' Naruto thought, as he walked toward the gates, ready to face his past, once and for all.

So, what did you think, good. Yep there have been some changes to the story, and some parts staying the same, with Minato being dead this time around and Kushina being cold and distant to Naruto, along with the Uzumaki Clan leaving Konoha for the Fire Capital. We also see how Naruto discovered Capsule Corp and The Lookout, along with his training under Dende and Mr. Popo (who is his canon self but uses his TFS personality as a prank for any would-be students, with Dende being in on it). Finally we see Naruto returning to Konoha to face his past, which won't be good for anyone that gets in his way. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
