So close, yet so far
Infinityxinfinity95 asked for a oneshot of (I hope you don't mind me editing slightly) Emma- having raised Henry- moves with him to Storybrooke. Charming and Snow have their memories. They are both going to be teaching Henry. When they meet Emma for the first time, they recognise her instantly. The next day in school, Snow gives Henry the book to start the process of breaking the curse.
again I think that I've had one person post several requests. I could be wrong, but that's one of the consequences of requesting as a guest.
"How do we deal with this?" Snow asked, running a hand through her hair. "We can't just ignore the fact that our daughter's in town! Not just our daughter, but our grandson. Charming, we have a grandson!"
"Don't remind me." Charming said. They were too young to be grandparents! "We're going to be teaching our grandson, Snow." Snow had been informed she'd be having a new child in her fourth grade class, the same school Charming was the gym coach in, which seemed odd since nobody had aged a day in Storybrooke since they had arrived. Things got even weirder when Snow was told that her new pupil, Henry Swan, was transferring from Newark, New Jersey. Nobody moved to Storybrooke. Who was this mysterious child? Then Snow and Charming met him, and his mother. There could be no denying that this was their daughter and her son. How were they meant to teach Henry without letting it slip? There would be no way he would believe them.
"You still have that book you found in the spare bedroom?" He asked her. "The one with all our stories?" Snow nodded. "Perfect! I say your new student could use a bit of a welcome gift." Charming said with a wink. Snow's whole face lit up. She pulled Charming closer and gave him a firm kiss.
"Charming, that's brilliant! I knew Henry's a smart boy. He'll work it all out in no time. I'll give it to him tomorrow, when he officially enrols." Snow pressed her forehead Charming's. "This is nearly over, Charming, and there's nothing Regina can do about it." Charming grinned. Snow was right. Their family was nearly reunited.
