Time: 4:58 PM, 3rd POV-
Bokuto decided to go to the store to get some rice for Akaashi to make him forget to scold him about going into the best school in Japan for heroes. Though the idea of going outside is very stuipd, almost everything about what he looks like is on the internet and mauve news. They might not have the money for rice but Akaashi did eat all of it, so it's his fault kinda. Bokuto walked out of his apartment and headed for the rice shop, it was about a four or five minute walk there and back.
He walked into the grey shop, it had small bushes and plants outside. Different kinds of meat, vegetables, and fruits sitting on tables or boxes. To his right there was a cooler that held more meat, above that were shelves with instant ramen, apple sauce, smoked salmon, sanma, thai curry, and baked beans. Signs were to his right, they had a little on them. Bokuto got creeped out by them, he never went here. He usually goes to the restaurant next to this place, they also selled rice or other stuff. He walked up to the counter, there was a nice looking fellow at the cash register.
"H-hello sir, how can I help you?" The spiky light brown haired cashier yelped, his nervousness showing on his face, with sweat falling down his face and hands. He seemed anxious if he said everything right and polite enough, he reminded Bokuto of Akaashi.
"Hey! I'm just fine..You?" Bokuto accidentally talked a little louder than he wanted, the unexpected yell made the light brown teen jump. "Sorry.." Bokuto scratched at the back of his neck.
"It's alright, i'm Kinoshita. And i'm also doing fine." Kinoshita answered, waving his hands to make sure Bokuto understood that he was ok from the outburst.
Bokuto lit up seeing he was alright, "I'm Bo- Shōta, Shōta Kōki, nice to meet ya. I just came here for some rice, ya' know?" Bokuto lied, he didn't want anyone to know his real name when he was somewhat on the run.
"Ditto. What kind of rice are you looking for?" Kinoshita quizzed, he moved his hand to point at the shelf behind him that had rice. Bokuto didn't know what 'ditto' meant so he just nodded.
"Do you have fresh white rice?" Bokuto looked over the shelf that was getting pointed at, it seemed that there was white and brown rice, and something called wild rice. 'Is the rice a bear of something?' Bokuto thought.
"Yes we do, it's need the back. Is there anything else?" The cashier asked, already moving to the back.
"Mm no that's it." Bokuto confirmed, he had his hands on his hips. His left shoulder was hurting but he won't admit or even acknowledge it. Kinoshita didn't answer back, he was already in the back when Bokuto spoke. A couple of minutes later the cashier walked back into the room with Bokuto.
"Here you go," Kinoshita placed a medium sized box on the counter, next to the green and black register. "How much do you want, Shōta-san?" He opened the box, showing it to Bokuto.
"...Two little bags." Bokuto moved his Indexed and middle finger together. "I don't need that much." He explains. Kinoshita grabbed two small bags like 'Shōta' asked for, he handed them over to him.
"Want a bag?" Kinoshita implied, it looked like he wanted to give the bags away for some reason.
"No thanks."
"Alright, that will be.. 4,000 yen.($38.43)" Kinoshita looking back up at Bokuto after from doing the math,
Bokuto wanted to cry, 'why is rice so expensive…' He whined in his head. "Okie.. here." Bokuto handed the correct amount of money to Kinoshita. He put the money in the register while closing it.
"Thank you, Shōta-san. Come again." Kinoshita waved at Bokuto as he grabbed his rice and walked out of the shop.
"You too, Kinosit-kun" Bokuto replied, he did one of his famous smiles that lit up the store but also made Kinosita regret his actions.
When Bokuto left and went his way, Kinoshita sighed while taking the large box of rice to the back door where two men stood. "Was it him?" One of the men asked, he had a shaved head but he looked kind.
-3rd POV- just left the store.-
Bokuto walked out of the store, he turned right passing the restaurant that was next to the rice store. He stopped looking back at the store, 'it looked like he wanted me to buy a plastic bag, but how am I going to do when the rice itself is 4,000 yen…' He thought looked, he went back to walking but stopped again.
'Wait.. I never heard the door open or close when he went to get the rice, but i just heard the back door close…' Bokuto took off his shirt, so it won't get ripped but his bandages did. He activated his quirk, flying on top of the store, he walked and crouched down looking over the side. There were three guys, two of them looked like heroes and the other was Kinoshita.
"Yeah it was." Kinoshita claimed, he handed the box over to the other guys, he had dark brown hair that parted around the middle but he looked like an average guy. "He had grey hair, was about 6 feet, and golden eyes…" He verified, a little upset what he did to the kind man.
"Do you think it's enough evidence?" The shave head asked, looking worried that they are missing something.
"Yeah should be. Plus the tacker." The one with the parted hair informed, "You don't need to worry, Kinoshita. He is a vigilante, he needs to go to jail. You too Narrita." He patted Kinoshita on the shoulder, trying to reassure him while looking at Narrita.
"Yeah I know, Ennoshita." Kinoshita sighed again.
'What the? A tracker?... Oh crap if they check where I was, they will know I was spying.' Bokuto thought while panicking a bit, he turned around and jumped off the building. He still turned right, but he took another right. His idea is to walk around the city, go to a random apartment and leave the tracker or trackers in there, then walk around the city more. To make sure they aren't following him, and of course go back home. Before Akaashi does.
That's exactly what Bokuto did, he tried to blend into the crowds of people, trying his best to not get caught. He got home at; 7:45 PM. He was later than he wanted, but it was fine.
Bokuto walked inside, looking around to see if Akaashi was there or not. Luckily for Bokuto, Akaashi wasn't here yet. He put the now open rice bags onto the counter, they didn't have a tracker in them anymore. Bokuto would be lying if he said it was easy to find them, it was like looking in a box of needles for a needle. But he found them and threw them into a room. He got out a measuring cup that said; 1 on it. He poured the rice into it until it hit the top of the cup, he then grabbed a bowl and moved the rice into it. Bokuto put water into the bowl of rice making the water cover rice, soaking the grained rice. He moved the rice around in the bowl with his hands, he dumped the water out of the bowl. He repeated adding water, moving the rice, and pouring the water out until the water was clean. Bokuto added more water to just cover the top of the rice, he left in the sink to sit for a while.
Bokuto heard someone walking up the stairs, he walked over to the door grabbing a random object. The front door opened without a knock, making Bokuto swing the strainer at the person who opened the door.
"I'm hom- AAK BO-" Akaashi screamed, it was too late. Bokuto already hit Akaashi square in the shoulder, " AOw.." He rubbed his left shoulder, he looked up at Bokuto with evil eyes. He dropped the stainer onto the ground.
"I- AKAAASHI MY SO SORRY! I-i didn't mean toooo." Bokuto whined out, scared of what Akaashi would think. He expected to punch somewhere or yelled at but Aakashi moved closer to him and warped his arms around Bokuto.
"..Are you alright? I heard you got shot.." Akaashi sniffled, he was one to not show his emotions but when it came to Bokuto he could cry a river. Bokuto was a bit like Akaashi. When he is in one of his moods or if he messes something up he could show the world his feelings but when he is reminded of something he doesn't want to remember or nightmare, Akaashi is the only one to see his tears of pain. Though Bokuto doesn't like to cry in front of him, he does it anyway when Akaashi makes him.
Bokuto hugged him back with one arm, "Of course I am. You are you? Did you get in trouble? Are you hurt, did they hurt you? Wait I don't want to know, don't tell me if you are….. I did in the arm..." He tailed off
"I'm alright, perfect if you are fine." Akaashi mumbled, whipping his eyes and nose. "Wait, you're hurt?" He looked at Bokuto.
Bokuto was taller and more powerful then Akaashi but that didn't stop him from feeling intimidated when he is worried about him. "I-i'm fine…. See." Bokuto pointed to his left shoulder that now has a broken bandangs on it, barely even on his shoulder. "...Well you see… I… I did put stuff on it but it got ripped from my wings." He explained, waving his right hand to clam Akaashi.
Akaashi closed the door before someone saw Bokuto, "Be quiet, you need to make sure it's not unaffected." Akaashi pushed him onto the couch, "Stay there." He went into the bathroom and got everything he needed for Bokuto.
-AU- Time: 8:30 PM-
Awaiza was done with his job to interrogate students, he walked down the halls in a quick pace that didn't suit him at all. He turned the corner and knocked on the door that said; UA Principal- Nezu.
"Come in." A small voice came from said room, Awaiza walked in. "Oh Awaiza good to see you, did you finish interrogating all the first years?" A stout man that looked like a dog, mouse, bear, and maybe a cat quizzed from in front of his desk.
"Yes I did." Awaiza calmly answered, "I need to speak to you, Nezu." Both of them took a set, Nezu beginning the Principal sat behind the large desk, Awaiza sat in front of him on a comfy work chair.
"What do you need to talk about, exactly?" Nezu happily asked, sipping on a cup of some tea or coffee.
"Ak-" Awaiza couldn't say what he wanted to say. "I'm here to talk about A-... Ak-... Ke-" He remembered but he just couldn't say it, it was like some hypnosis making you forget the number 5 but you know the number 5, you just can't speak it.
"You alright, Awaiza?" Nezu looked at him in concern, "Do you need water?" Nezu implied, he had far too many cups to not offer.
"...I'm fine. A students quirk is named.. Is named?" Awaiza sounded like he was asking himself, 'I know it's called white lie, why can't I speak it. Akaashi said something like; don't tell no, don't speak? I know I need to tell Nezu that Akaashi is working with the NightOwl but i don't remember how I know he is working with him.' Awaiza couldn't remember this time, he remembers the name and the quirk but he doesn't know he knows that Akaashi Keiji is working with the NightOwl.
"Awaiza? If you can't say what you want then nod." Nezu explained, he was a smart man to figure out that Awaiza couldn't say what he needed to tell him.
"...I can still talk, I can't rem-" Awaiza's voice cut out again, so he simply nodded.
"You can't remember or speak of it. Can you write it?" Nezu thought out loud, he passed a note pad and a pen over to him. Awaiza grabbed it, he was going to write 'Akaashi Keiji's quirk is White lie, he did something to me.' But can't, he forgot how to spell, he knows how to write quirk or is but not just the names. He simply wrote;
" -Nope- s quirk is -nope- he did something to me." "Here" Awaize passed the pad back to Nezu, scanning over. Nezu turned to his computer, he typed something into it.
"Alright, we know the student you are talking about is male, a first year, and his name starts with Ak… that gives us 23 students." Nezu flipped the computer to show Awaiza, "Can you point to the one or nod if you don't remember." He explained
Awaiza knows full and well what Akaashi looks like but they all look the same. Every student on that screen looks like himself. He nodded, he can't explain that all he is seeing is himself.
"Alright, I'll send a team to investigate everyone of these kids." Nezu sighed, he was thankful but really 23 students to look at, will take some time. Time that they don't know if they have or not. "You may leave, but I advise you to go to Shuzenji."
"Thank you." Awaiza bowed and left, closing the door behind me. He sighed, it felt like the name Akaashi Keiji was falling out of his hands.
Nezu looked over the students and they're names, none of them stood out. He looked over the file he received two hours ago. He asked tens teams to look for NigthOwl but the team he was least expecting found him buying rice. Sadly they didn't have any footage of him, just a description of him and where he might be living. The place where NightOwl was living felt stage to Nezu but Info is info and it's better than nothing.
Nezu typed on his computer once more, 'what if we add the words 'can't remember' to the description. The black computer showed only five students with quirks that had something to do with can't remember. He read through them all, only three match a bit of what happened Awaiza. Tarō Tamotsu, Katsurō Tuto, Akaashi Keiji. He then sent an email to heroes that are free and happy to help him.
-Bokut's POV- Time: 9:40 PM-
Akaashi made me take another shower, he put new bandages on twice already, we had dinner like an hour ago. Akaashi didn't say he was happy because he wanted to be upset with me but he smiled the whole time we were eating rice. Now both of us are sitting on the couch, watching this show called; Naruto. Akaashi said he didn't like how Naruto the main character is so weak or how Sakura cries all the time, also how little kids shouldn't watch this because of naked people. But I don't know, I like it for the excitement and plot. Plus I can relate to Naruto, he even said Hey hey hey in one episode. I think it was in the two or third episode about the chunin exams.
"Bokuto-san, how did your bananges fall off then you said you got them on when you got home?" Akaashi quizzed, he was wrapped in a blue blanket that he stole from our bed, he was lying on me with his head on my stomach.
"I went to the store to buy some rice, but the guy who selled me it was actually a hero, I used my wings to look at them but it kind of ripped the bananges." I explained while smiling and looking down at him.
"..You what?"
"I paid in cash… so yeah….. ALSO there was a tracker in the rice he gave him so I had to walk around the whole city to throw the tackers into an apartment then I walked allllll the way back here and made rice just for you." I don't know what the big deal is, I got rid of the trackers.
"...You had a shirt on when he left the house?" Akaashi asked, looking at Tv.
"Ye.. NOOO I left my favorite shirt on the street." I wailed, I put my hands over my eyes. "Whyyyy…"
"It's in the street not on." Akaashi corrected, it sounded like he wasn't even listening to what I was saying about my shirt.
"Rude.." I grumbled, moving my hands down to Akaashi's perfect hair. "What happened with you after I left?" I asked, massaging his head. He seemed stressed.
"Nothing really, just a teacher -Awaiza- asked me some questions about me and you." Before I could interrupt him to ask something, he spoke up, "No he didn't know that I was the one 'working' with you." He used his fingers to show the quotations marks.
"How?" That was blunt….
"I used my quirk, dummy." Akaashi playful answer back.
"What!? You know that your quirk can mess with your own brain. You remember the last time!?" I scolded, I was yelling while whispering so our neighbors won't hear or think that we are fighting a fit fight, they called the cops on us thinking I was abusive. I would never touch Akaashi like that, my voice just goes a little loud when I'm trying to make sure someone understands.
"I don't remember last time because of it." He was right, last time he used his quirk he used it to get money but because his power can't really be controlled it made him and the banker slowly lose the memory of that situation.
"Ahah right I forgot, sorry hehe." I scratched my face, out of embarrassment. I pulled Akaashi higher up on me so I could hold him. "What time is it, Keiji?" I asked, burying my face into his hair.
"I think 9:4… It's almost 10, bokuto. Go to bed, we shouldn't be watching this. I have school and you need sleep." He quickly jumped out of my grasp.
"But-"
"No but's, Bokuto-san… Come on."
".. alright." I turned the Tv off and followed Akaashi to bed. It wasn't raining so it might take longer to fall asleep at night.
