An awkward subject
Denise asked for a oneshot of Snowing helping Abigail and Frederick find a house in Storybrooke. While they help, Snow and Abigail talk about everything that happened while they were cursed.
Heysnow and Stephanie: I think that kind of thing has been pretty much covered.
Kelly: Charming can't go under another sleeping curse though?
Lee: Sorry, I've said no more time travel chapters. Also, if she'd wanted to do that, I think she would have done it back in the EF.
Lacey: That seems like more of a multi chapter story.
Sorry everyone, I know I'm quite late, but life has been hectic lately. I've stayed up well past my bedtime to give these for you today :P
Snow and Charming hadn't been expecting the couple to ask for their help. In fact, they didn't expect Abigail or Frederick to speak to them ever again. Everything that happened during the curse had just things, well, awkward between them. As if their relationship hadn't been strange enough to begin with. But yet, Abigail and Frederick seemed happy to put the past behind them, so who were Snow and Charming to disagree? So now they were, helping Abigail and Frederick move into the house that they themselves had helped them pick out. The guys were fixing up the new bathroom, leaving Snow and Abigail to set up the living room, while Neal babbled away in the portable playpen Snow and Charming had brought with them.
"He sure is a little cutie." Abigail commented, smiling down at Neal. Snow smiled politely in return. Then, Abigail laughed slightly.
"What?" Snow asked her, curious.
"Oh, it's nothing." Abigail protested. Now Snow had to know.
"Go on, what is it?" Snow pressed. Abigail looked slightly awkward.
"Well, it's just…you have two lovely children. It's just odd to think that the Evil Qu…Regina, sorry, seemed so determined to stop them from existing that she ensured I was with your husband." Snow laughed awkwardly. She wasn't exactly sure how the threat to her children's existence was funny, but she guessed Abigail didn't know how else to approach the subject.
"Well, at least it was you putting up with his snoring for a while." Snow joked back. Abigail half smiled back.
"I'm sorry that I was with Charming. I know you already know this, but under the curse I had no idea he was really yours. That I had my own true love waiting. I'm so sorry for everything you were put through because of me." Snow smiled warmly.
"You're right. You had no control. I have no reason to be mad at you, Abigail. I hope you hold no anger towards me for what I did."
"Of course not." Abigail replied instantly. "You can't help being in love, right?" Just then, Charming and Frederick came back into the room.
"That's us done setting up the bathroom. We just need to wait for the shower curtain to be delivered on Tuesday." Frederick said, kissing the top of Abigail's head. "You ladies need a hand?"
"Nah, we've got everything sorted here. Right, Snow?" Abigail said.
"We sure do." Snow said, catching the hidden meaning as she leaned against Charming's shoulder. The air was most definitely cleared.
