Music time

LuLu asked for a oneshot of everyone having to deal with a musical issue where they all have to sing.

"Ok, from the top." Snow sighed. She couldn't believe they were all doing this. During a recent storm, Granny's had been quite badly damaged. Granny just didn't have the funds to cover everything that needed repaired, and she refused to take charity from any of the handymen around town. Instead, she set up a fundraising concert to raise the necessary cash to repair the diner. Part of this, involved getting to complete royal family to perform in part of the talent show she had set up. She had pleaded with Snow and Charming until they reluctantly agreed. Then they did the same until they wore Emma and Henry down. Now here they were, rehearsing Queen's Don't stop me now for what felt like the millionth time. The problem was, none of them were particularly great singers. But they were even worse at all other talent show friendly talents, so singing it was. They weren't expecting a standing ovation, they just wanted to make sure they didn't embarrass themselves.

"Are you sure we can't just donate a lot of money and pretend we're sick?" Emma asked. Snow rolled her eyes.

"The answer is still no, Emma." Snow told her firmly. "We're performing in this, whether we want to or not. It's for Granny. She's done a lot for this family over the years and we're going to do our bit." Emma nodded glumly. She knew her mom had a point. She just didn't like this whole Von Trapp thing they had going on. But she guessed, for one performance, she could stomach it. For Granny.

"Ok." Charming said, taking charge. "Everyone back in positions, and we'll take it from the top." Snow, Emma, Henry and Charming then got back into their starting formation. Charming hit the play button on the remote control. The backing track started to play and off they went again.

I won't be writing a sequel to this one :).
