He's out
IwKa asked for a oneshot of *6x03/4 spoilers!* Charming and Emma fighting Hyde (like in the promo for next week). She takes a hit to save her father. They are both injured in the end.
Emma stopped her dad. Charming froze in his tracks. He could see the danger lurking in Emma's eyes.
"What's wrong?" He asked her frantically.
"Someone's here." Emma responded quietly, her eyes darting about the forest, trying to catch the sneaker.
"Indeed." Came the posh English voice of Hyde as he calmly strode up to them. "You found me." He said, almost sounding proud of them. Emma took aim with Jekyll's weapon (which she carried for such an occasion) as Charming whipped out his gun from the upholster.
"Stay back." Emma warned him. Hyde smiled patronisingly at her.
"How are your hands, Saviour?" He taunted her. "Still shaking like a leaf? Showing everyone the scared little girl you really are?"
"Enough." Charming growled. "You don't speak to her that way. In fact, you don't speak to her at all." Hyde chuckled darkly.
"Just what are you going to do, shepherd? That's right. The Evil Queen has filled me in on who you are. I could squeeze the life out of her right in front of you and there wouldn't be a damn thing either of you could do about it. The Saviour has lost her spark." Charming aimed his gun at Hyde. He didn't take threats against Emma lightly.
"Oh yeah?" Emma responded. She was tired of the villains telling her she was finished. She still had fight left in her yet. "We'll see about that." Emma shot the weapon at Hyde. He saw it coming. She was too rash with her attacks. He ducked swiftly, the blast hitting a nearby tree trunk instead. A flash of pure rage shown in his eyes. He started to charge at Emma. Charming wasn't having this maniac anywhere near his daughter. He held the gun up, running at him. But Hyde was once again too quick. He twisted the weapon out of Charming's hand, damaging his wrist. Charming cried out in pain. Emma felt her hands begin to shake. This was it. She was failing to protect him.
"Run, Emma!" Charming told her. "I'll hold him off." Hyde smiled over at Emma as he knocked Charming to the ground, who quickly scrambled to his feet to keep the barrier between Hyde and his daughter. Emma shook herself. She wasn't letting him hurt her dad. She took hold of the weapon again and blasted Hyde. It stunned him for just long enough that Charming was able to get the spare pair of the specially crafted handcuffs on him, despite his injured wrist.
"Don't ever threaten my daughter again." Charming hissed in his ear. He turned to see if Emma was ok, but saw she had dropped the weapon. It had clearly overcharged and burned her hands.
"Well that isn't going to help that shaking now is it?" Hyde said darkly. Charming shoved him in the direction of the station, keeping him far away from Emma.
"Move." He growled. He looked back to Emma. "Those are some nasty burns Em. You need to get them seem to. I'll call your mom from the cruiser. She'll be expecting you." Charming told her.
"But your wrist." Emma protested. "Shouldn't I…"
"Not a chance." Charming interrupted her. "He's not getting anywhere near you. Go on. Your mom can check my wrist when I'm done." Charming said. Emma could see she had no choice. She tried not to catch Hyde's satisfied smirk as she left for home.
A few hours later, Snow had both Emma and Charming bandaged up appropriately. She was fussing over both of them, making sure bones were in place and there was no risk of infection.
"He's definitely locked up this time?" Snow asked. "The Evil Queen can't help him escape?"
"I had Blue make sure." Charming said. "He's not leaving." Snow caught the fleeting glance he gave to Emma. She knew what that meant. Hyde was obviously after something from Emma. It was at least one thing that Hyde was locked up securely now, but it was safe to say both Charming and Snow would be keeping a very close eye on their daughter.
