Failing
Haleh asked for a oneshot of *season 6 spoilers!* Emma feeling like she's failing as the Saviour because the villains keeping getting away. Charming tells her that she's not failing. He hugs her and tells her not to worry, that they will stop them. I hope you don't mind me changing this slightly, only Emma couldn't be the Saviour if their wasn't the curse.
Karen: I've wrote Emma coming back with big news like that before.
Lori: Hasn't that kind of happened in the show? Haha
Mab and Hera: That kind of thing has been covered before.
Just a wee reminder for everyone that this story focuses on Charming, Snow, Emma, Henry and little Neal. People keep trying to sneak particularly Killian and Regina in. Sorry folks, but this is for the Charming family with everyone else playing bit parts!
Emma couldn't stop herself from kicking the base of a nearby tree stump. She was so frustrated with herself. It seemed like no matter what she did, the villains kept slipping through her fingers. It seemed her destiny to die as the Saviour started with her letting all the villains run riot in Storybrooke.
"Ok, stop." Charming said, placing a hand on Emma's shoulder. He could see she was about to lose it. "Talk to me."
"There's nothing to talk about." Emma responded gruffly as she spun around and sat down on the stump. Charming came and crouched down beside her.
"Well that's obviously not true." He said gently. "What's wrong Em?" Emma sighed, looking down at the ground.
"I keep losing all these villains recently." Emma started quietly. "I'm failing as the Saviour." Charming felt awful for Emma. She just looked so miserable.
"Hey." He said, wrapping an arm around her. Emma rested her head on her dad's shoulder. "Emma, you're not failing. You're brilliant as the Saviour. So these villains are being really tricky, that doesn't mean that's all on you. Don't you worry. We'll catch them." Emma didn't say anything. She just rested her weary head against her dad, gaining some much needed strength from him.
