Bella watches as Edward strokes her thick brown hair, hiding under a Rangers cap. It was annoying enough to be trapped in a mortal form, away from her family. Especially since she was a married goddess. To Hermes, to be exact. She was Mirratina, the goddess of passageways, mirrors, glass, reflections, unnatural beauty, darkness, the undead, lies, obsession and sunlight. Yes, there is a difference between her and Apollo. They were currently in a car, and the black leather seat felt cool under her back. She relaxed herself, hoping to slip from Edward's cold grasp. He pushed her up and kissed her neck. "Just about there." He whispered. Carslie merged lanes. Alive stared out the window, and Jasper put his arm over her shoulder. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Her fingers tapped impatiently against her calf. "Almost there, Love." Edward whispered into her ear. Mirratina really wished her would stop calling her love. Even Susie would work. She sighed, her chest expanding and coming in. All the little things were getting clearer now. Every tick of the clock, every voice, every footstep of the locals. Mirratina hunched over Edwards shoulder to see. The signs and buildings meant they were in New York. She made an effort to keep herself from bouncing out of her seat, and sprinting to the Empire State Building. She was sure her pupils had expanded to the size of her irises. She could now hear her own heartbeat; she felt as if the thing would pop out of her chest. Her stomach dropped out of her body and the empty space was filled with butterflies. She gulped, knowing that her mission was complete. Why she was nervous; she didn't want to know. She was the spawn of Aphrodite and Ereburus. She took some traits with her father though; her face was beautifully crafted, like a porcelain doll. She moved with such grace she could be unreal. Maybe a creation, yes. Before she knew it, New Yorkers were giving them the middle fingers and telling them to "go away!" The Cullens covered her eyes, but she batted Edwards hand away and simply glared at him. He proceeded to cover her eyes, and she couldn't see anything. No, she had to keep this under control. It was just the darkness. Yes, and she was the goddess of sunlight. She concentrated on her heartbeat. Thump. Thump. Thump. It took all effort not to flail her hands around, screaming. Thump. Thump. Thump. She let her dark side embrace her. Stepping into the sunlight would now be scary, "I'm sorry love, you didn't need to see that." Edward sighed. It took all her self control to not scream at him, that she was millions of years older then him, born at the dawn of creation. Right after the war with Uranus. She had a Roman form too; in mirrors everything is the same but different. "I can handle a bit of swearing. I'm not a China doll." She muttered, even though she knew the Vampires could hear her. Emmett chuckled. "Since you're such a big girl, Edward, take your hand off." Rosalie sneered. Edwards snarled at her, and she growled. Her face must have been revolting, because Edward took his hand off. She looked all around. Underage kids drinking, one boy holding a condom and running with a girl to a back alley, a few guys smoking, the guys giving them the finger. Bella walked up to one of them, and slapped him in the face. He growled at her, and told her to "go away." Again. "Bitch," she snarled and hit him again, "that hurt!" He whined. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." She snarled. He put the finger down, and without looking at the Cullens, sprinted into the Empire State Building.

The Cullens caught her shoulder. "We know this is harsh." Alice warned. "But the Greek gods are real," Bella laughed, then realized that this should be a mystery. "What?" She lied, like she didn't know. The meme "so I said no, you know, like a liar." Ran through her head. They explained a few watered down legends to her, and again, she had to resist the urge to roll her eyes. Then, Carslie called them up to the elevator.

Bella shifted uncomfortably, against the golden wall with seven stone beings, listening to "hotel California," she has never noticed how terrible the music was in here. "Now Bella, don't come in, watch from the elevator." Edward put a finger to her lips. "We don't want to insult them," Jasper added. The elevator dinged, and the Cullens skipped through. When they were halfway there, Bella ran through.

Bella changed form. She had wavy white blonde hair hanging down to her waist, and eyes that constantly changed colour. Golden hoops hung from her ears and the people of Olympus bowed before her. Her maroon turtle neck was sealed by her jean jacket and leather pants. Her black high tops pounded against the marble floor which Annabeth designed. Every step counted, and the Cullens eyes widened. She heard them whispering. They were wondering where Bella was. Well, Rosalie, the bitchy slut needed to become smarter, no shit there. Edward just wondered where Bella was and began to grow worried. What the Hades, Mirratina thought. She skipped alongside them. "Who the hell are you?" Emmett asked. She snorted. "Mirratina. You might know me as Bella." She grinned running towards the golden doors and pushing through them with ease. She hopped on her throne; some mirrors and reflections and stuff. It looked pretty. She jumped into her seat. Remembering the sweet feeling of godhood once again. Fingers trembling she picked up her throwing knives. She set them back on the armrest. Jasper pushed through the door, and Esme looked at Mirratina in wonder. Mirratina snorted, drumming her fingers again. Everyone smiled. "Welcome back!" They all cheered. Mirratina smiled. All the Cullens arranged themselves in a line. "We are vampires." They said, all at different times. "And we have come to discuss," Mirratina shoot them a evil look. "So," she said. Everyone in the room fell silent. "Start."
