Rosie's got a boyfriend
A guest asked for a oneshot of Charming freaking out when he sees a 16-year-old Rosie kissing her secret boyfriend outside of school.
Snow heard the babbling as soon as the front door was open. She also heard Emma, clearly trying to comfort her father. Emma had called Snow as they were heading home to let her know Charming was in a bit of a state, and that she would explain when they were home. Emma brought Charming into the living room with Snow and got him sitting down.
"Ok, what's happened?" Snow asked, alarmed. Emma seemed like she was trying to stop herself from laughing.
"Well. Dad and I were doing our usual patrol around town, just to make our presence known. Part of that involved going past the high school. The kids had just been released for lunch. We happened to see Rosie by the school gate. We were about to honk the horn and wave when some guy came up to her. Rosie smiled, said something to them and then they kissed. Rosie has a boyfriend." Emma explained. Snow blinked a few times, surprised. Rosie had a boyfriend? Why hadn't she said anything?! "Well, as you can see, dad didn't take this very well. I had to drive off pretty quickly to stop him getting out and scaring the poor boy. He's been like this ever since." Emma said, gesturing to her babbling father." Snow looked over at Charming.
"Oh Charming." She said. "Were you planning a repeat of the docks incident?"
"Don't remind me of that." Emma groaned. Back when Emma and Killian were still a relatively new item, Charming had caught them making out by the docks…and then proceeded to chase Killian down them, threatening that soon he'd be sleeping with the fishes. "Dad, have you calmed down?"
"Rosie!" Charming croaked, clearly still emotional. "Boy!" Snow came over and sat on the arm of Charming's chair.
"Charming, it's ok." She said gently. "I think we can all see why Rosie didn't tell any of us…especially when she also knows the docks story." Emma winced. "She's growing up, it's ok. She'll tell us when she's ready, and we will not say a word to her. I'll make you a strong cup of tea. You need to have gained your composure by the time she gets home." Snow smiled. "Our little girl's growing up." Charming puffed out his cheeks. He didn't need told that twice.
