A/N: Anything that you see in Bold and Italic writing is the song. It is not run through Grammarly. My fabulous beta, Lovely Black Butterfly did not miss it. It is the song T-R-O-U-B-L-E by Travis Tritt! And with that, we are off!
We wake up in time for me to head to the restaurant that Alice picked. One of the dives I told her about at some point. She was bouncing in her chair like the pixie she is.
When she saw me, she ran to me jumping into my arms for a hug. I laugh as she squeals in my ear. She is lucky that I love her.
"Sup Pix, can we tone it down a tad bit. We're in public now." I laugh.
"Shut it! I've missed you!" She says as she smacks my arm. I fake that she is abusing me and Mom just tries to not laugh but fails. Dad is not any better.
"Good to see that you two still love each other. Now, what's good, son?" And with Dad's question, we order and talk like it has only been a few days since we last really spent time together and not months.
When we finished our food, I had to get going to the bar. Once I got there, I asked that the girls be let in with my parents. They were allowed since they were only in town for a few days as long as they only had food, waters, or sodas, which I agreed to. I let my parents know and they agreed as well.
The soundcheck went well. No issues, since we play Volturi a few times a month.
When it was time to start, my parents came in, but without Alice and the girls. I should have known better. She is all for the drama.
"Hello, Volturi!" I shout to the audience and there are many shouts and yeah's. "This is Masen's Rising! And we are hitting the 80's tonight! Old school! For our first number, we are playing some Hank Jr." I count us into 'A Country Boy Can Survive'. It's always popular. The crowd enjoys the song. When we finish, we let the crowd have their say and they ask for the Bellamy Brothers 'Redneck Girl'. I laughed and we played it.
As we were finishing 'Redneck Girl', I looked at the bar's entrance and see the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I do a double-take. Yeap. She is still there.
She gets more beautiful the closer she gets to the stage. Long mahogany hair that makes me want to rap my fingers into it and pull on it while I dominate the hell out of her; see her on her knees in a submissive manner deep throating me. I can see me claiming her as mine, each and every single way that I can. Kissing her delicate skin, worshiping her from head to toe. Hearing her screams of orgasm as I pound into her pussy like she is mine to control. Her riding me making me feel like a true cowboy.
Save a horse, ride a cowboy, as Big And Rich would say.
Then I see her in a white dress in a small church. Like one in Forks. I look down and see me in a tux. Making her my wife.
I see her pregnant with my child.
A girl with my eyes and her hair runs through the meadow near my parents' house.
A younger boy with my hair and her brown eyes chases his sister.
"Boys. I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E. That is dedicated to the beautiful woman who just walked into the door and into my life. Good luck leaving my sight, darling." I say with a smirk and wink at her. She goes up to the front and I can see her blushing.
She is coming home with me and never leaving my side.
Well I play an old guitar from nine till half-past one
I'm just tryin' to make a livin' watching everybody else havin' fun
Well I don't miss much if it happens on a dancehall floor
Mercy look what just walked through that door
Well hello T-R-O-U-B-L-E
After we begin the song, I see Alice and another girl come up to where my woman was sitting, staring at us with a knowing grin. Alice elbows the other girl in the side and whispers something in her ear. Oh, man! This can't be good. Is this Alice's little friend? Aw, man! Alice was right.
I need to continue singing.
Tell me what in the world
You doin' A-L-O-N-E
Yeah say hey good L double O-K-I-N-G
Well I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E
I look down at the new group of ladies that are here and smile. Trying to make sure that she keeps her beautiful big brown eyes on me, I keep looking over at her. Just like I want. She is staring. This girl is currently starring in my wildest fantasies.
I was a little bitty baby when my papa hit the skids
Mama had a time tryin' to raise nine kids
She told me not to stare cause it was impolite
She did the best she could to try to raise me right
I don't know how, but I gather the courage to stop playing and grab her up on the stage. I have never done this before. With her standing next to me, I feel powerful. Putting my guitar down, I pull her close to dance. I love country two-stepping! This part is going to be fun!
Cause mama never told me 'bout nothin' like why-O-you
Bet your mama musta been another good lookin' honey too
Hey good L double O-K-I-N-G
Well I smell T-are-O-you-be -L-E
She is blushing and laughing as I twirl her around. It is probably the most adorable thing I have seen. I turn my eyes toward the crowd and see most of the men ogling her. I feel territorial over her that no other man should see her. I almost growl, but I look over her head and see Emmett trying to keep it together. Bastard.
Well a sweet talkin', sexy walkin', honky tonkin' baby
The men are gonna love ya and the woman gonna hate ya
Remindin' them of everything they're never gonna be
May be the beginning of a world war three
Cause the world ain't ready for nothing like why-O-you
I bet your mama musta been another good lookin' mama too
Hey say hey good L double O-K-I-N-G
Well I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E
I said hey
I said hey
I said hey
I said hey
I said hey
I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E
When I am done, I spin her around again, dipping her for effect. She seems to have enjoyed our song and dance. Which makes me happy. In my mind, I only want to see happiness on her face.
I remember something that Alice said and as I look over to Alice, she is smiling.
My woman will come with Alice. And Alice will find her man when I find my woman. Jasper is fucked.
Then again. I might just be fucked as well, and I look forward to every single moment of it.
