Here's the final 'mass' update for a few of my fanfics. I look forward to doing the same around the 29th at the latest in celebration of the day of my birth.

Mokuba: Don't forget that today is also your pet's 9th birthday.

Oh, Yeah…Happy Birthday to our sweet little guy!

Ryou watched as Yugi pulled a large box from under his bed and opened it. "What's that," he asked.

Yugi looked up, "Some stuff I was saving for Yami and Atem…for when they were nice to me. I saved everything from what I earned to have Papa buy these for me to give to them. I just hope that they like them."

Yugi showed Ryou the contents of the container. Ryou was shocked to see various Josh McGrath and the rest of the N*TECH Sports Team memorabilia inside, much of it signed by the members. "WOW," Ryou was stunned, "they're soooo lucky! Josh is the best in extreme sports!"

"Here, I accidentally ordered one too many autographed Josh McGrath posters. You can have this one," Yugi said as he handed Ryou a sealed tube.

"Thank you, Yugi."

Yugi smiled as he left with the box, "You're welcome."

Yami and Atem were trying to figure out where Yugi had vanished when the small boy entered the den with a box and Ryou trailing behind him. Yugi cautiously approached his elder brothers, "I, uh, got something for you two. I hope you, um, like it." He set the box on the coffee table and dashed to their father's recliner before they could move.

The two looked into the box and saw signed items from their favorite sports person/team. A thin layer of dust coated several things, suggesting that Yugi had been storing them for some time. Atem looked at his baby brother and noticed him wringing his hands in nervousness, "Yugi, thank you. We love the gifts."

"Um, you're welcome," Yugi stuttered.

Atem sighed and pushed himself up from the floor. Bakura and Namu watched, prepared to go to Yugi's defense. "Yugi, please," Atem started, "don't be afraid of me and Yami."

"Um…"

Bakura interrupted Yugi's stammering, "Atem, ease up. Think about it this way; would you expect an abused animal to trust someone after years of pain and suffering? Take things slow and easy with Yugi."

Aknamkanon sent their guests home so that he could take Yugi to the C.A.T. for a checkup. Yami and Atem were told to stay home and study for their finals while they were out. Yugi watched as they made their way to the Center. "Penny for your thoughts," Aknamkanon said.

"Why are they being so nice to me, Papa," Yugi sighed. "Is there something wrong with me? Am I dying and nobody wanted me to find out?"

"No, son, there is nothing wrong with you. And as for the dying part…everyone is dying, some just a little faster than most. It's like getting older, you can't stop aging. In fact, you're older already." Aknamkanon sighed, "Alright, being serious now. Your brothers have seen that they've made a big mistake in not treating you like they should have and are trying to make up for it. Apparently, they are going too fast and you aren't used to it. I'll tell them to slow down and take it a day at a time. Okay?"

Yugi nodded as they pulled into their usual space. Aknamkanon carried Yugi into the building and to the Ishtar sisters' lab. The seven-year-old beamed when he saw them, "Hi!"

The sisters turned and smiled at their favorite patient. "And how are you feeling today, Yugi," Isis questioned him.

"Tired and sore," Yugi admitted as he lay on the exam table. "I slept in Papa's chair last night and fell off trying to get out of it this morning."

Ishizu checked Yugi's stats while Isis drew blood and Yugi spoke of his first sleepover. "Have you been careful about sweets," Ishizu pressed.

Yugi nodded, "Yeah. Mana measures everything and records whatever sweets I do eat."

Aknamkanon thought of the routine for Yugi; Isis quietly examined the boy's nanites and bio-signature while her twin did the usual examination in place of a regular doctor. Mana had been programmed to keep strict watch over Yugi's eating habits and health at home.

"Everything checks out," Ishizu announced as she helped Yugi from the table. "Isis and I expect to see you back here no earlier than one month from today, so no accidents."

Yugi nodded, "Okay, Ishizu. Um, may I have a sticker?"

Isis pulled out the binder that they kept for their unique patients, "Sure."

Yugi looked over the stickers and selected a metallic horse, "I don't have this one yet. Thank you!"

The sisters watched as the boy was carried off. "Isis, is something wrong?"

"Ryou's recently lost the use of his legs once more and needed immediate treatment and Malik's been having slight issues with his bio-engineered hand lately. I'm concerned for Yugi as his whole body is infused with nanites."

"As am I, but Ryou and Malik are both aware of their nanites and can tell us what's happening in time for proper treatment."

"Yugi isn't and can't tell us if something goes wrong," Isis stated. "If even 25% of the nanites go offline, he'll have loss of basic motor function, 50% may put him in a coma. Any more than that and who knows what'll happen if he doesn't die!? I love the munchkin as if her were my own brother. I don't want anything happening to him if I can help him."

"I know, me too."

"We'll find a way to shield his nanites from EM pulses," Isis stated as she turned to the newest blood sample from Yugi. "That way we can at least help him there."

Yami was anxious to find out why Yugi was sound asleep when he and their father returned from Yugi's appointment. "Easy, son," Aknamkanon said as he laid Yugi on the couch. "Yugi just had a long day and all the excitement has worn him out. His doctor visits alone wear him out."

"Dad, do you mind if Atem and I take him out to the park tomorrow?"

His father shook his head, "Sorry, but not until he's stronger. Remember, Yugi isn't used to large crowds as he's been in limited contact with people."

Yami nodded and left.

So Yugi's brothers are starting to show concern for his well-being.

Yugi: About time too!

So, wanna hear something interesting about my birthday?

Bakura: Sure, why not?

Too bad…you have to wait until I post later!

Yugi: PhantomBrat is enjoying this a bit much, isn't she Ryou?

Ryou: You got it, Yugi. You have to hand it to her that she managed to find some interesting things out centering around her date and time of birth.

Malik: Until next time!
