Rosie's got a boyfriend- part 2
Mary asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2137 "Rosie's got a boyfriend" where Snow has Rosie invite her boyfriend round so they can meet him. She makes Charming promise to be on his best behaviour.
"Can't I scare him, just a little bit?" Charming begged. "Just for good measure?"
"No." Snow said simply as she turned up the heat on the stove. "Emma, stir that gravy, would you?" She asked. Emma nodded, laughing at her dad's antics. When Rosie had finally come clean to her family about having a boyfriend, Snow (after doing her best to act surprised) insisted he come round for dinner to meet the family properly. This, of course, involved Charming being told to be on his best behaviour.
"The poor kid's going to be intimidated enough with all of us around the table. Give him a bit of a break dad." Emma said, placing her hand on her dad's arm. Charming looked at her, raising an eyebrow.
"You of all people should know that there are no breaks when it comes to potential suitors and my girls." He pointed her. Emma sighed, going back to the gravy.
"I tried mom." She said. "Your turn." Snow smiled at her husband. She loved how protective he was of their children. Especially Emma and Rosie.
"He'll behave." Snow ensured their daughter. "Then he'll be rewarded for good behaviour, and be able to put that aggression to more productive use…"
"Oh for Heaven's sake! You two are awful!" Emma complained. Charming grinned over at Snow. It always made him laugh when she teased Emma like that. But if that was the carrot Snow was dangling in front of him to get him to play nice with this Carter boy, then so be it.
Charming did behave during dinner. He was as lovely as an overprotective father could be…and it was completely worth it.
