When fiction becomes reality
Marissa asked for a oneshot of Neal becoming an actor and taking his parents to the set of his latest movie. It is about their love story and Neal is playing Prince Charming.
White princess: Sorry, but that kind of thing has already been covered.
Guest: But how could they both be sleeping at the same time?
Guest: I think that'd feel pretty much like a repeat of everything covered in the first chapter.
"Can we please know a little about this movie of yours?" Snow begged for the thousandth time.
"You'll see very soon." Neal laughed. He'd grown used to both of his parents asking endless amounts of questions about his latest project. Not that they got any information from him. He was remaining tight lipped on all information. He understood their curiosity though. He'd made it clear this big role of his would be something that would really excite them both. Now he was finally able to take them on set to see what was going on. Both his parents were buzzing with excitement. What could Neal be doing? He had been dying to tell them since he got the part, but he said it was far too juicy to spill like that. They'd have to see for themselves.
So Neal drove them all the way out of Storybrooke and to the set in Vancouver, Canada. He left them waiting for a couple of hours whilst all the costumes and makeup were taken care of. Then, finally, they were able to see him and his co-star (a young woman around his age) do their take.
"And, action!" The director called, slamming down the clapperboard as the cameras started rolling. Snow and Charming watched intently. They were beginning to see why Neal so desperately wanted them to see this. His costume looked like clothing found in the Enchanted Forest.
"We shouldn't be here." The young woman said, acting agitated. "If she finds out…"
"But she won't." Neal responded, closing the gap between the pair of them, holding her tenderly by the waist. "We've been careful. Even if she or her guards do find us, I won't let them take you again. We belong together and I won't let us be separated ever again. She can create a thousand sleeping curses in whatever fruit she wants, Snow White, I will always be here to save you." Snow and Charming stood with their mouths wide open. This movie was about them! The woman smiled, unaware that she was in the presence of the real Snow White and Prince Charming, or that she was acting with their son.
"My Prince Charming." She said, reaching up on her tiptoes and kissing his cheek. Snow and Charming were grinning from ear to ear. Neal had been right. This had been too good a surprise for them not to be able to see for themselves first hand.
