Black Snow

Jaime asked for a oneshot of…a read and see story.

Amelia and Justine: That kind of thing has been done before.

Queens arrow: Isn't that basically the Snowing plot for season 1? Lol.

Guest: I can sense me getting hate for writing that, sorry.

She couldn't have this anymore. There was too much risk involved. She knew it wouldn't be easy to convince any of them to reveal where the dagger was to her, but out of all of them, Charming was her best bet. So, knowing Emma wouldn't be at the station, Snow appeared to him.

Charming gasped when he saw the dark grey smoke pillar. He didn't know how to feel when he saw Snow standing there. It had been so long since he had seen her…but this wasn't really her. This Snow was…harsher, than his Snow. Her softness was gone. Her caring side hidden away somewhere deep inside.

"Snow." Charming croaked. Snow stared right through him, and it made Charming's insides go cold.

"I'm not going to get sentimental. That's not why I'm here. I'll cut to the chase: I want the dagger." Snow said coldly. Charming knew this would come at some point.

"I'm not telling you." He said simply. He saw the rage flash across her face. "It's for your own good. Snow, you're changing every day and we can't even remember what happened to you. Come home, please. I need you, the kids need you. Give us back our memories. Let us help you…"

"You can help me by giving back the dagger." Snow snapped. "I did this for them, for her, I didn't take that memory from you. If it wasn't for me Emma would be the Dark One. She doesn't need me now. Neither of them do. It's for their own good if I stay away. None of you would want your memories back any way. I did some dreadful things and you wouldn't want to remember me like that. Even I'm not that cruel." Charming threw caution to the wind and came forward, taking Snow by the shoulders. He ignored the way her whole body tensed.

"We will always need you, Snow. Nothing you did cannot be forgiven. Come home. We can fix this. We haven't given up on getting this out of you." Charming tried to get through to her, but he wasn't sure it was having much impact. Snow could see this wasn't going to be easy. She was going to have to dip into her new found dark side. She sighed.

"I guess we'll make a deal then. If you tell me where that dagger is, I'll come home with you." Charming hesitated. He wasn't sure that was a good idea. Knowing she was manipulating him, Snow placed her hand on Charming's cheek. "If I know where that dagger is, I know nobody can control me. Surely you can understand that?" Charming placed his hand over Snow's.

"Of course I can, but you don't need to worry about that. The dagger is secure. We wouldn't leave that to chance." Charming promised her, but he could see it wasn't enough for Snow. He was never able to resist when she looked at him like that. "You promise you'll come home?" He asked. She nodded vigorously. Charming sighed.

"It's in the drawer in our bedside table at home. It's under a cloaking spell." He told her. He went to take her hand, but Snow withdrew. She pressed her lips against his. Charming sank into her touch. It had been so long since he'd been able to kiss her. But before long, Snow was pulling back again. The look on her face made Charming's heart sink. She had tricked him.

"I'm sorry." She said sincerely. Charming tried to make her see sense, but before he could speak she had waved her hand in front of him and he fell to the ground, unconscious. Snow bent down and kissed his sleeping cheek. She missed him too, but this was for the best. It was easier for everyone in their family if she wasn't around.

"You're not going to beat this." She whispered. "Just…be happy." And with that, Snow disappeared.
