Vindictive punishment- part 2
IwKa asked for a oneshot of A sequel to Ch2169 "Vindictive punishment" where Blue and Regina are only able to heal Emma partially and leave Snowing to care for her.
The Evil Queen may not have been able to grab Emma's heart, but that didn't mean she didn't inflict any damage. She had really done a number on Emma's spine. Even with Blue and Regina's help, it was a slow healing process. They hadn't been able to fully heal the wounds inflicted, and Snow and Charming were here to nurse her through the rest of the healing. They couldn't deny that the Evil Queen's stunt had shaken them. They became even more protective (if that was even possible) to both their children as well as their grandson. Emma's fusses about this were only minimal. She at least understood why they were acting like this.
"We're out of milk!" Henry called from the kitchen. "I'll go down to the store and get some…"
"No!" Snow, Charming and Emma all said together. Henry looked at them all in turn.
"Guys, what's the problem? I've been to that store a hundred times before. She's not going to hurt me. She doesn't want to hurt me."
"Just because she won't hurt you doesn't mean she won't use you." Emma pointed out. Henry sighed.
"I can look after myself. I'm not a little kid anymore. I'm the Author." Henry reminded them. Emma knew her son wasn't a child anymore, but she couldn't help but feel protective.
"Well if you must go then wait there and I'll come with you.."
"No!" Snow and Charming shouted again.
"Guys, my back's fine now. I can go to the store with the Henry. I'll be fine…"
"Even still." Snow said firmly. She looked at Charming and could see he was thinking the same things as her. It was too risky. They weren't prepared to have the Evil Queen get to her again. If one of them was with her at all times, they could at least defend her. "It's not worth taking the chance. You can go out soon, when everyone's sure your spine is back to normal. You're still getting pains and don't think we don't notice them. It was a horrific injury, Emma. It's going to take time to heal." Snow squeezed her daughter's hand before getting up. "I'll get the milk." Snow looked to Charming, who nodded. He would look after the kids. Snow kissed Emma, Henry and Neal's heads before she left. Henry trudged over to Emma's bed and sat down moodily.
"It'll ease up kid." She said quietly. "They're just scared."
"I know." Henry sighed. "It just sucks. It sucks even more that she hurt you." Emma smiled sympathetically at him. She knew seeing what the Evil Queen had done to her was hard for him. But slowly, but surely, things were getting back to normal. Even if her dad was still keeping a very close eye on them both to be on the safe side.
