"Team B? How are things going on over there?" Ryder asked after contacting Team A. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah! Umm, we're still trying to find a way in, Ryder!" said Rocky. The building they were trying to infiltrate was heavily guarded. The FBI expected someone to try and break-in, so they covered all the bases. There were sweeping stoplights, armed guards, and a regular patrol around the building. They even had people up on the roof. All on high alert.

"Wyder, we might have to fight our way in, because they have this entiwe place locked down," said Zuma."

"What do you think, Zuma?"

"I agwee with Wocky, it's going to be the only way in.

"Okay pups, but be fast. They're going to radio for help the moment they see you. That will limit your time." warned Ryder.

"Ok, we will. Over and out," said Rocky.

"What's the plan?" asked Zuma. The team leader thought for a moment.

"We need to get rid of the guys on the roof first. Then we can work on the rest of them," he said finally. Zuma and Zuma nodded and pulled their hoods up. There was a fire escape running up the side of the building. Luckily, there wasn't anyone guarding it. Quick on their paws, they silently made their way over to the old ladder and began to climb up it. Rocky peeked his head over the roof. There were four men, one on each corner of the room.
"Ruff, googles!" whispered Rocky. He scanned the men and realized all of them had military-grade rifles. Rocky pulled his head back in.

"These guys are armed and dangerous. We need to pick them off one by one if we're going to have a chance," he whispered. "Each of us will take one. Be silent, so the fourth one doesn't know we're here." The roof was very large, as was the building. The pups pressed their pup tags, and the black stripe running through each of their clothes spread, taking overall color, turning it pitch black. The pups climbed up the ladder quickly and kept close to the ground. One man yawned.

"Jimmy, you still awake?" he asked.

"Yeah, John, I am," he said.

"I feel like all this security is a waste of time, no one is getting in here." said another man.

"Yeah, but orders are orders. Besides, we're getting paid very well to do this." said the last man.

There was silence for a minute. Rocky crept over to Jimmy and cuffed him over the ear so hard, his brain vibrated against his skull, knocking him out instantly. Zuma tiptoed over to John and held his claws to his throat.

"And you better not scweam, or I will kill you," said Zuma. The man weakly nodded. Zuma would never do such a thing, (well…) but the man didn't know that. Zuma thought for a moment then asked,

"Do you have a keycard?" the man nodded again and took the chain off his neck, placing it gently in Zuma's open paw. Zuma then punched the man in the side of the jaw, and he went out like a light. Rocky and Zuma looked up and saw Marshall, licking his paws.

"Wow, you guys are slow," he said. At his paws, were the other two men, bound and also knocked out.

"Gweat job, Marshall!" complimented Zuma. Rocky looked around on the roof for a way in. Maybe we don't have to fight the men at the front. There was a metal grate that connected to the AC system in the very middle.

"Ruff, laser!" said Rocky. A laser attachment came from the cloth on his left paw, and he proceeded to cut out the grate.

"What if these men wake up?" asked Marshall. Rocky thought for a moment.

"We can always spray them with chloroform," he answers finally.

"I'll do it!" said Zuma.

"Bark, chlorofowm!" a small spray bottle attachment came from his clothes. He spayed each man lightly in the face.

"They'll be out for a while!" said Zuma. The pups jumped down into the metal tubes. There was a loud clang as they hit the bottom, and they froze for a good 5 minutes.

"That was almost the showtest covewt mission in history…" he muttered, walking along. Rocky scanned the tubes, looking for the one that would put them in the computer room. "Marshall, the signal isn't doing well in these metal tubes. We'll have to figure it out on our own."

"Ok, what about this vent?" he said stopping. Rocky and Zuma turned around.

"We can try it. Let's go!" he said. Marshall jumped down onto the ground, the other pups right behind him.

"Hey, did you hear something?" came a voice down the hall.

"Yeah, I did. Let's go check it out." came another.

"They heard us! What are we going to do?" hissed Rocky. The pups whirled around, taking in their surroundings. It looked like they were in a filing room of some sort. The footsteps got closer.

"If there's someone in there, we will shoot on sight!" came a voice, threateningly.

"We can hide in one of these cabinets!" said Zuma. "One of them has to be empty!" The pups began looking. The footsteps were very close now.

"This is taking too long!" said Rocky, engaging his googles. He scanned over the cabinets and found out that there was one empty one.

"In here!" he said grabbing the handle to said cabinet. It was locked. Of all the cabinets to be locked, why is this one? He thought. Marshall held the lock in his paws and it melted away. The pups jumped in the cabinet and closed the door just as the door was opened. A light was turned on. The cabinet was big, but it was very cramped for the three pups. They heard heavy footsteps outside.

"Do you smell something, burning?" one guard said.

"No, can't say that I do." said the other.

"I could've sworn I heard something!" said one.

"Me too… I guess we're just jumpy." said the other leaving the room. Soon, they heard the other leave, and the lights turn off. Zuma went to open the door.

"No! This could be a trap! They could just be waiting for us to leave!" hissed Marshall. And sure enough, they heard talking on the outside.

"Do you think somethings in there?" asked one.

"I don't think so. We have other hallways to patrol. Come on." They said. They heard footsteps down the hall, and they were gone. Rocky was all too happy to get out of the cabinet, taking a breath of fresh air.

"Ugh, your butt was in my face, Zuma!" he complained.

"Sowwy, I was weally tight in there!" he squeaked.

"Guys, we need to keep looking!" chastened Marshall. he opened the door quietly, and the pups all walked out, closing it behind them. They crept down the shadowy halls, hiding behind anything they could find. Then they found it. It was the computer room, and they were all powered off for the night.

"Found it!" said Zuma. They slid into the room and locked the door behind them. Rocky and Zuma jumped up on the chair together, while Marshall kept watch. Rocky booted up the computer, and it immediately asked for a password.

"Aww, man," mumbled Rocky.

"I got it!" said Zuma, swiping the keycard up under the scanner. The computer immediately unlocked itself, and they began browsing the files.

"Ryder, we're in the computer, who do we need to search for?" asked Rocky over his radio/puptag.

"A man named Daniel Goode," responded Ryder immediately. Rocky searched the name and multiple files came up. Every account had been suspended, and it was contained in this computer.

"It's going to take too long to wead each one!" said Zuma. Rocky went over to another one of the computers. He went into the back of it and ripped out a small black piece.

"What is it?" asked Zuma.

"It's a hard drive, we're going to upload everything to this right here," said Rocky, winking at him. Rocky plugged it in and he went into Command Prompt. It was Administrator only.

"Umm…" said Rocky. Would you like to do a face scan if you forgot the password? Read the computer.

"Oh, we can just do that!" said Zuma, hitting the button.

"Zuma, no…" Red lights began to flash, and a loud alarm went off. Unauthorized access. The computer read.

"Intruder in Room C, quadrant D section 1." went the automated P.A system.

"Just awesome, Zuma. You really thought that would work, huh," said Rocky sarcastically. "You can't just do a face scan and…sigh...it doesn't matter, we don't have a lot of time. I'll give us 5 minutes before we've got to go, so I need to start downloading these files.

"Uh, guys…" went Marshall. There was a loud knocking on the door.

"Open this door, whoever is in there! You're under arrest!" shouted a man, jiggling the door. Marshall pushed a few boxes in front of the door and set the handle on the fire. There was a howl of pain from the outside.

"That will hold them for a bit, but now we're stuck in here," said Marshall.

"Wocky, I…"

"Just go help Marshall, Zuma, k? I'll take care of this," said Rocky, coldly, turning back to the screen. Zuma looked hurt, and a little guilty, but did as he was told, and help Marshall find things to put in front of the door. Someone managed to put the key in and unlocked the door, and they were trying to force the door open. Rocky was typing something into the Computer and overrode the password. He typed some code into it, and the hard drive began sucking up the information. Rocky jumped off the seat and helped his friends hold the door.

"These computers are so outdated! It's going to take a while for it to finish uploading the information," he grunted, pressing agist the door with all he had in him. More people began pushing, and the door opened a crack.

"Guys, this isn't working! We're going to have to fight them!" said Zuma. "When we start fighting, leave youw hoods on. If they see youw faces, then they'll know who's fighting them. Wyder will be toast." he said, as they let go of the door. Guards swarmed the room, and the pups were outnumbered 2:1 Marshall's paws lit up, as he punched the first man in the knee so hard it broke with a loud snap! The man howled in pain, and he was down for the count. So now there were only 5 to deal with. But they had now lost the element of surprise. They leveled their guns at them.

"One wrong move, and we will shoot!" they said. There was a tense stand-off. Then one of the guards looked at the computer.

"Hey, they're stealing information!" he shouted. All the guards looked in his direction for a split second, but that was all Marshall needed. He slid up under his feet and set the floor in front of the computer on fire. All the guards stepped back and simultaneously fired their guns at Marshall. Marshall dived behind the seat just in time, and the floor now had five bullet holes where he'd just been. Rocky jumped up and kicked one of the men in the back of the head, and slammed him into the back on the ground. There was a crack, and the man went out stone cold. Then the men picked up their batons and fought back. The pups were great fighters and were holding their own very well.
"Rocky, it's done!" shouted Marshall, grabbing the hard drive and throwing it to the demi-god. Rocky caught it and put it up his sleeve.

"Our job is done, let's get out of here!" he said. Then the unthinkable happened. The man with the broken knee grabbed his gun and with a killer instinct shot Rocky right in the chest. Rocky went down, howling in pain. Zuma's normally cool eyes burned with rage and he kicked the man in the head, knocking him out. Blood started to flow from the gaping wound in Rocky's chest. Zuma's paws glowed and he rushed to Rocky's side. Zuma's eyes got big as he stared at the red liquid streaming from his best friend's side.

"Zuma...get out of here…" said Rocky weakly, placing the hard drive in his paw. Blood trickled through Rocky's paws as he tried to stop the bleeding. It wasn't working. Zuma began to hyperventilate, and he was frozen in shock. Marshall began slinging fireballs at the duo of people, creating a shield of fire around them. The guards couldn't hit them, but they could still shoot. But the fire made it too hard for them to aim, and the shots missed, one slightly nicking Marshall's ear. It tore the flesh, but it was a very mild cut. All Zuma could see was his friend's life-blood trickling out of him.

"No...no...no…" he said. Then he remembered something. Back when he was doing Pupjitzu, his water revived the burnt and charred plants, giving them new life. Would it work on animals too? Rocky groaned and passed out from blood loss. There wasn't any time to figure it out. Lighting up his paws, he pressed them against Rocky's bloodied chest and willed something to happen. A cold stream of water graced his paws as he placed them on Rocky's chest. He felt Rocky's insides begin to knit back together. Rocky began to murmur, and the bullet came out last, covered in blood. Rocky's eyes snapped open.

"Zuma?" he said in wonder.

"Rocky…" said Zuma looking up at him. Marshall managed to take down every last agent. He was panting, and looked at Zuma and Rocky wearily.

"I did it…" he said, collapsing to the floor for a minute, regaining his strength. Zuma placed his paw on his torn ear. The icy water numbed the pain, and the ear was soon fixed.

"Thanks, Zuma," said Marshall. "It was really starting to hurt. There was more shouting from down the hall, and as Rocky peeked his head out to look, he saw an entire swarm of them coming.

"No, no more!" Rocky shouted. His amulet fell into full view. Marshall gasped, as Rocky's fur lit on fire. When Marshall touched it, the fire didn't burn him. Rocky's eyes blazed, for real, as he lifted one paw, and all the agents were wrenched off their feet.

"I will not tolerate this anymore!" he shouted at them. They leveled their guns, and pumped him full of lead. Or at least, they tried too. The bullets hit him and bounced off in all directions.

"Oh my…" started one of them.

Rocky squeezed his paw into a fist, and the guns compressed like a piece of tinfoil. He slammed his paw down on the ground, and they all hit the ground.

"How is he…" started Marshall

"I'll explain later," whispered Zuma, who was enjoying the show. Rocky raised them again, slamming them into the ground so hard the vibrations were felt through the entire building. They heard car doors slam as more people rushed to the scene.

"I'll take all of them!" said Rocky, hate filling his voice.

"No, Wocky, we have what we came fow. Let's go," said Zuma. Rocky shook his head twice, and the fire was gone. He glanced sheepishly at Marshall. Marshall was dumbstruck.

"Umm…" he (Marshall) began.

"No time, for that. We need to get back to Ryder," said Rocky, placing a paw on both pups.

"How are we going to…" Marshall looked around. Then they were outside the building, at the pickup point Ryder had assigned them, a couple of blocks away from the building. They watched as police car after police car rushed to the building.

"Ryder, were ready for you to pick us up. Hurry!" said Rocky.

"Coming, pups! ETA 2 minutes." came the reply. Rocky turned to face Marshall. Marshall was slowly backing away from him.

"Marshall, what's wrong, it's just me," he said. Marshall continued to back away.

"Th..tha...that was..n..t..pos...si...ble…" he stammered, tripping over his paws and falling on his butt. Rocky tried to come closer, but Marshall crawled away on his back, looking at Rocky with huge, fearful eyes. Tears came into Rocky's eyes, as he realized something. Marshall is afraid of me… Rocky quickly bounded over to him and touched his nose to his. He felt Marshall tremble.

"I'm not going to hurt you," Rocky whispered.

"Are you...sure…" he said.

"Yes, I'll never hurt you, or any of the pups." he felt Marshall stop trembling, and immediately pulled away from him. He thought he heard a growl from someone, but he wasn't so sure. Marshall got up, and licked Rocky's cheek. Then Paw Patroler came into sight, and Ryder landed. Come on pups. Let's get out of here before anyone sees us. When they were in the air again, Marshall went to open his mouth and spill everything to Ryder, but Rocky intervened.

Don't you do it, Marshall... Marshall looked at Rocky.

Did you just…

Yes, I did. Zuma and I will fill you in tomorrow, but just be quiet for now k? Marshall nodded his head.

"How'd it go, pups?" asked Ryder.

"Well, we knocked out a lot of guys, tied up others, robbed the computer of information, knocked out a bunch more...So if they knew who we were, we'd be on the FBI most wanted list," said Rocky shortly.

"They don't know, right?" asked Ryder.

"No, we kept our hoods on the whole time," Zuma said quickly.

"Good, now we just wait for Team A.

Bullets flew from the guns at the pups, but Chase was too quick. He grabbed the other pups and ran up the stairs and placed them down.

"Try to find something, ok?" he said, running back down the steps. He charged up a lightning bolt and fired it at the first Agent. He was shocked and began convulsing. Chase let the charge go, and the man fell like a stone. The other agents fired at him in a hail of bullets. Chase threw his paws up in the form of an X, and the lightning knit together in all electrical shield, absorbing the bullets. This move took up an extremely high amount of energy. I hope Skye and Rubble find something soon.

Upstairs apparently was the man's bedroom. He had a small bed, a couple of dressers, and a filing cabinet. The room was very depressing to look at.

"Let's look in here," said Skye, hearing a loud thud coming from downstairs. The drawer was locked. Rubble punched right through the lock, and Skye went to December, and began to read papers, trying to find some information.

More FBI agents filled the room, and Chase was being born down upon very heavily. His shield weakened with his powers, and put it down. It was taking up too much of his energy.

"Who are you?" asked one of the agents.

"You wish you knew!" Chase said, punching him in the face his a supercharged fist. He went out cold, but there were three more to take his place. Chase threw lightning here and there, but more just came in. It was all too fast, Chase couldn't take it anymore.

"I wish you would just SLOW DOWN!" he yelled, slamming a paw on the ground. A blast of lightning spread from his paws in all directions. Then everything stopped. He looked at the agents. They were moving so slow, like they were underwater. Chase looked at saw that the bullets were moving slow too, so slow that Chase could knock them out the air.

"Wow, I can control the speed of anything I want? Awesome!" he said. Chase noticed the lightning circling him was going counterclockwise. So this lightning reflects my powers. Interesting… thought Chase. He ran up to the pups to help them find anything useful. Skye was surrounded by papers.

"Chase, what happened?" she asked. "I don't hear anything anymore."

"Let's just say, the agents got, stuck," Chase said smirking.

"There are so many papers for December. We can never read them all," complained Rubble.

"Let me see those," said Chase.

"Here, start with this stack, said Skye." Chase flipped through them all.

"There's nothing in here relating to Jason," said Chase.

"Yeah, real funny, Chase. Now actually read them," said Skye, not looking up.

"No really, I did," said Chase. "Apparently my speed applies to more than just my paws," he said.

"Oh, really. Then you can read mine and Rubble's too," said Skye sarcastically.

"Ok" replied Chase, flipping through Skye's stack and Rubble's stack. He pulled out three letters.

"Here they are," he said, giving them to Skye.

"How did you…"

"Believe me now?" asked Chase. Skye nodded her head. "Let's get these letters back to Ryder. He grabbed Rubble and ran to the rendezvous point. Then he went back to Skye.

"Hop on!" Chase said, lowering his frontside. Skye giggled and straddled the German Shepherd. She held on to his neck, and Chase began to run. He thought about going back to Rubble, but he wanted to be alone with Skye for a little bit. So he turned away and just ran around, going through a small forest, then an open plain up under the stars.

"This is fun!" yelped Skye, clinging to Chase tighter. She didn't even care where they were going.

Chase ran to the top of a small hill and stopped.

"Like the ride?" he asked cocking his head a little.

"It was very enjoyable," Skye said, looking him in the eye. Chase tapped his puptag.

"We're at the rendezvous point, come pick us up," he said.

"Okay, I'll be there soon, ETA: 5 minutes."

"What do you mean, we're already there?" asked Skye.

"We will be by the time he gets there," Chase said.

Skye yawned, and laid her frontside on Chase's back.

"I'm tired…" she murmured.

"I am too," said Chase. Skye tightened her grip on the Shepherd.

"I really like this," she said happily.

"I really like yo...Ummm...your smile…!" Chase finished weakly. If Skye noticed anything, she didn't say anything.

"Let's stay out here for a while. I'm sure Rubble will be fine," she said. Chase was surprised, but did as she requested. They both looked up into the starlit sky.

"Ryder will be here, soon," said Chase, a little sadly.

"Yeah, we should get back," said Skye, unconsciously rubbing the fur around Chase's neck. Chase began to pant a little bit. Then he took off, leaving the mountainside quickly. He ran over a small lake, letting the spray mist him a Skye a little. Skye giggled a little, and dipped a paw in the water, and slashed Chase with it. Chase slowed down a little bit, not wanting the moment to end.

"Umm, Chase, you're going to slow. We're starting to sink," observed Skye.

"Yeah," said Chase, picking up the pace. He ran back to Rubble who was passed out."Thanks, Chase, that's just what I needed." said Skye, licking him on the nose. Chase blushed a little.

"Skye, I…." The Paw Patroller came into view, and quickly landed. The moment was ruined.

"Come on, pups. I'm sure you're ready for bed," said Ryder, picking them up. Rocky, Zuma, and Marshall were passed out side by side. Rubble had already hit the hay. Ryder picked Rubble up and Chase and Skye followed him.

"How'd the mission go?" asked Ryder.

"It was great. I had to fight a little, but then I learned how to control the speed of other things. I found three papers with Jason's name on it." said Chase handing them over to Ryder.

"Great job, pups." Ryder produced the USB drive and placed it in a drawer.

"And no one saw you, right?"

"Nope, no one," said Chase. Ryder nodded and began driving home. Chase heard soft breathing close to his ear, and realized that Skye had fallen asleep on his back. Chase went to slide her gently off, but Skye woke up.

"No, Chase. I'm good where I am," she said, slurring her words a bit. YES! Shouted Chase in his mind. Chase laid down on his front, and passed out as well. Ryder was tired too, and when he made it to the lookout, he didn't even put the pups in bed. He just left them there with a blanket over each, and went to bed in the lookout. Our first Undercover Paw mission is a success. He thought, slipping up under the covers.

So the mission went off great, but the pups had to fight a lot. Rocky reveals his secret to Marshall, who is momentarily afraid of him. Chase and Skye go on a mini-date, (courtesy of the Sheperd) and Chase is revealed to have feelings for Skye. But what will happen now that the pups have this information. Check back later for more.

P.S This story will have a part two. More information about that later.
